Pasta sisters talking about how worth it's pasta episode gave their restaurant attention and how it helped them expand made me genuinely happy
I have local places that after getting on Food Network, they exploded in popularity, which is great, until I want to go. Amazing local places like these exist, and are getting better every day, and then people still go to chain restaurants and make me sad.
I am afraid when the hype goes back, they are stuck with two unsucessful Restaurants

@@Ruuhm They were on Season 1 of Worth It, that was back in 2016. They said the hype lasted for a year and a half, and they have been doing well since. So basically, 1.5 years of Buzz Feed hype for them, then 1.5 years without Buzz Feed, and now here they go again.

Worth it wasnt the only reason Pasta Sisters is successful. Their hardwork also makes theme popular because some restaurants got greedy after they got attention and stop giving effort. The fact that Pasta Sisters open another restaurant proves that their core value still hasnt change. Pasta Sisters' effort to make quality food is Worth It.

Well you can’t compare family businesses to mega corporate ones. If they had the huge income/investment that those more expensive restaurants had, they would eventually change as well.

Well of course, to be successful you need multiple things to work in tandem. The quality of their food was great, they just needed a platform to showcase their skills. It nice they got the opportunity, but it’s also sad to think how often small business like that fizzle out in obscurity.

i’m so glad the last restaurant was expensive for a reason. sometimes they try foods that are expensive because of gold leaf and truffle, it was nice to see them support a restaurant that supports local businesses. loved that.

I found out about the Anaconda Burrito from a few episodes ago and some friends and I made a 2h trip to try it, very much worth it. There was people in front of us who got 3 of them, for $30 it could feed 5.

They need to break down the cost per person. The "most expensive" option ends up to be the LEAST expensive after the chef explained the $60 dish is meant to serve 4-6 people, which is really only $10/plate.

Full sized lasagna for 60$ compared to 13$ per serving lasagna isn't that just roughly the sampe price?
That wasn't anywhere close to a full size lasagna. To me that looked like a serving for two or three people. Or 5 or 6, like they claim, but only if everybody only got a tiny portion.
@@dex4463 Might depend on richness/complexity. Some resteraunts get leery about putting a lot on peoples plate due to calorie count. But i tend to agree, i dont like those smaller trays of lasagna. I don't personally buy lasagna when I go out to eat however so my judgements not fair.

I was told that cats can't digest anything other than meat. That's part of the reason they throw up grass. I had a cat once that was always ready to eat some of the meat of my plate but I don't think he ever ate anything else. However, most lasagna has meat in it so that's probably what they are looking for when they eat it.

I was really moved by the story of what came for Pasta Sisters after their exposure from their previous Worth It episode. And it was lovely to see they kept their family, food and prices through all of that. They managed to keep that same cosy, loved feel even with the expansion💕

I visited my family in LA 4 months ago and we went to an amazing outdoor flea market with a foodtruck area, pasta sisters had a truck which I of course knew from watching this show for years :) makes me so happy that they're doing well!

XMXN for me it’s this and their Draw Off series. Genuinely good personalities in both shows that make you want to be in their shoes, ie. on Worth It for all the mouthwatering food and on Draw Off for the skill envy. Vicariously living through these people is an addiction at this point.
Not even subscribed, i just follow the Worth It playlist.
