I paused this video at 4:49 just to type this message out because I haven’t seen this in the comments while scrolling after noticing the fact that this barber and his client are talking whilst the cutting is happening and I am thinking dang this dude got a steady hand so far, like he is shaping his beard perfectly so far, but since I wear a beard a majority of the time, I would never talk to my barber like that because I thought that is the normal thing to do, don’t interrupt their process!
damn I was growing out my beard and then tried trimming the sides.... cut way too much off now you see my jaw and it looks ridiculous. BUT instead of shaving it all off. ill keep it looking goofy until it catches up
The issue im having is im not trusting with barbershop's. Im protective of my beard and dont know how to go about finding someone I trust with trimming. This dude is phenomenal, this is exactly the style I want but with a fade from the lower ear up.
@@rmn2370 only really grew out my beard for the first time about 3 years ago. I’m 31 now. Before I always had clean shave or a shadow. So I can’t really say. My beard only really fills out evenly after like 3-4 months. The left side grows quicker, the right upper cheek line grows very slow. It’s a mess 😂 but I just let it grow without really trimming, then once it fills out, I clean it up and get the shape I want. The hair is soft and not really thick or sturdy at the start for me.

I have been growing my beard for 2 years.. i had it when my daughter was born and couldn't get rid if it in case it upset her.. but now I love it.. no longer itches. But I made the mistake of cutting it not and then rather then let it grow out and it has become rather frizzled. I can stretch a beard hair and it can measure about 4 inchs so i think if i was to use a beard straightener it would be impressive. But this guy has a great full beard whereas i have a small bald patch to the sides of my mouth. i have the full goatee but my cheeks are bald.

I don't know why so many people think blind shaving the head is a difficult thing. That's how I shaved mine for nearly 19 years and it was super easy.
I do the same. It was a learning curve but now I can just get it done quick in the shower

Trim the sides a bit shorter than your “goatee” area and it will have that natural tapered look as it grows
