The fucking Bruce Lee flying kick. It's gold, but also if someone did that in my class we'd all crowd around and shame them for it. Endangering your sparring partner is not a joke when you're in the same room.
And the FIE wanted to bring back the forward crossover to sabre.... (granted, not the way it used to be allowed.... but still). Also... Kim Junghwan would like a word with you about not falling over in sabre.
Nowt wrong with the fleche if it's refereed properly: i.e. every cross step after the first, is preparation. It was the rule but instead we had tag by handbag swinging because referees wouldn't enforce the rules.
I had a guy run head-on into me, no attempt to divert out of the way at all. So, my natural reaction was to bring my hands up, which resulted in me just belting the guy with an uppercut from my bell guard. He fell over and landed on the ground, dazed. The best part was the ref calmly walked over to him while he was still lying on the ground, waited for his teammates to take off his mask, then bent over and showed him a yellow card for corps-a-corps. 😆
Épée’s my weapon and I had to stick to foil for four and half years before I was ever allowed to fence épée and I’ve been fencing épée for longer after that.
Yeah, I was wanting to fence Saber since I started, so I found it really frustrating to have to go up through foil, then épée, before I was even allowed to touch a Saber, but once I reached Saber I found that I actually preferred foil lmao
@@sapnupuassld9441 I only heard of him yesterday and I've only seen him fence épée so far, but yeah, the man's a god, I don't see anyone being better than him
Stop talking about football and lacrosse. But seriously, I just added up the price to compete in a serious tournament which you would only do if you truly want to it's about 545 for basic average electric gear ready for tournaments, and not adding in shoes which you don't need because most use normal shoes which are fine, and factoring in cords, 3 saber minimum with actual full sabers not blades. Also, football on average for gear cost about 600, same with hockey, and lacrosse about the same as fencing. Also, most fencing teachers will let you borrow equipment, along with school programs, and you can get fencing gear for even cheaper too, and even better you can get foil and epee for even cheaper and still get the 3 weapons you need.
yo the one with the flying kick have his own grudge LMAO
y’know, this probably happened a lot in random duels in the middle ages.

I mean, I don’t fence epee, but I don’t know if you can do this and I don’t know what he was thinking.

I dont know what is worse falling by yourself or getting pushed
News Flash! All FIE referees will now be required to take Flopper recognition training - How to discern jostling from flopping.
this is the funniest this ever

This is indeed really funny

@@jarrarwinks8470foil is far more gay than saber
im watching this to feel better about falling over on the piste, quality entertainment
I figured you'd have Max Heinzer's crash from 2016 in this as well. He nearly KO'd himself on the battery pack on the back of the mask.
the world championships 2017?
@@dontflyspirit6535 Oh, was it 2017? Could be that one, yeah.

It was so funny I laughed until I almost died!🤣
did they just leave that last guy on the floor 😭
Why is it epeeists and sabreurs that always have the most slapstick looking falls 😆
I had one yesterday in a tournament and the German National Coach saw it😑
The iconic fencing flying kick.
Omg he kicked that guy in the face
As an epee fencer, I can confirm that I am quite the clumsy individual.

epee is so graceful
Hate when there is knee to knee contact

look at these bafoons, sabre is the only valid form of fencing imo
