- The new guardbash decoration : Block something without recoil and your shield will create a blunt shockwave.
- The gustcrab : its gust hits a huge amount of times.
So when you combine them you have machine gun of a shield
Aaaaannnnd now it's worthless again.

It is possibly one the least use hunting helper for sure .
I eat gust crabs for breakfast, usually with a side of Blue Mushrooms and Red Spiritbird flesh.

I remember the good ol' days of 2004 where head locking monsters were a thing for lance... If this gets patched, we may have to wait almost another 20 years to see more for lance users.

I've been using Lance for years and years I never thought I'd see something like this
Funny how Lance became top DPS only because of the Gustcrab + Guard Bash. Reminds me when players found out about about Gunlance's Wyvernstake Cannon + Snowman interaction in Iceborne. We'll have to see if Capcom see this as a problem and patch it up in the last title update.

The best part is you can only do this with friends with whom you share the same consciousness with, otherwise in normal hunts you'd be griefing and making everybody hate you.
I think 4 randoms can do it without stacking buffs. one of them needs to spam traps after gustcrab though

It's part of the set you get for beating Every arena quest once. I think they are created with the hero coins u get for beating the arena

You need to explain what really happened after the boss where down with those multiple 600 dmg
New lance rampage skill deals damage when they block an attack.
A gust crab is put down, triggering the skill multiple times, dealing massive damage.

How do you block a Gustcrab though? Even with Guard Up 3 it still just throws me into the air.
