I hope Zman and Bobby Garland are sponsoring you, John, as I, and I am sure many others, have gone out and bought much their stuff because of you!! My fishing has changed and improved a LOT since I got hooked on your videos!! Thanks much, John! :-)
Welcome to the Zman club. My favorite. I do like my Nikko Hellgrammites though. I haven't gotten any of the micro stuff yet, but I will. Good stuff man.
I tied on the Green pumpkin of this bait and the smallies and red breasted sunfish wouldn’t leave it alone…. I tried the larvaZ too on a different trip-they worked well but the skinny tails get bitten off by tiny sunfish. This was on the Shenandoah River in VA. Did catch a few larger (relatively speaking) bass on it…. 12-14”.
What a nice stretch of creek! Love it when it stays covered with tree cover for long stretches like that. Those Larvaz look amazing! Probably going to grab some of those as well.
Hmm, this seems familiar for some reason... Those lures you gave me have been doing wonders for big Rock Bass and some decent Smallies in a few of the creeks we talked about here in Middle Tennessee. I haven't taken them to the farm pond for Largemouth and big Green Sunfish yet but I'm going to soon! Great video, John.
Knew about Zman many years ago. Been slingin Micro finesse baits now for a year. Zman is a serious plastic baits company. I'm now throwing the Zman Micro finesse wormz. Jighead size is a1/20 oz. Purple haze is the best color I use. They catch everything!!! I noticed that you seem to love their products as well. I also use Nikko hellgrammites and salamander lures as well. Can't beat em in creeks & streams here in the Ozarks. I have a lot of success with Shad Fryz in space guppy color. Great baits and I enjoyed this video as well. Good job
I’ve caught 5+ pound bass on micro jigs in the past. Just picked up some of the new Z man microphone so we’ll see what happens. I fish them on 4 pound test typically but sometimes too depending on the water.
You should take those lures to a trout stream. They will work well. If you want a challenge head up to Michigan or Wisconsin and fish those for some Steelhead or Salmon. They should work well for both species, though you better be good with a light rod if you want to get them in healthy enough to do a good release. If you get lucky you could get a lake run brown trout.
Nice video LOL for years I have cut the 4" Bass Pro Shops Tournament Series Squirmin' Worm in 1/2 For creek fishing the Dirt of Watermelon Seed work great I just found a injection mold for 4" worms So I will be also using a purple and a black
Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.
Trying more Ned rig situations for next year is the goal. Thanks for sharing John. I ended up going with the Bass Pro Shops Microlite 6'6 medium light action spinning rod. Tried the Panfish Elite in 7'2 and just seemed a bit too whippy. May try the Panfish Elite in 6'. More to come. Blessings brother
Glad to see you constantly trying and exposing us to New options! I haven't yet had a chance to try the Mule lures you recently demonstrated with your friend. How do these compare to those? Thanks again as always and God Bless 🙏
I need to branch out and find me some new creeks. The bluegill in the creek I normally fish won’t hit on anything I have thrown at them but earthworms, Gulp earthworms and every now and then a panfish magnet. They will nibble at hellgrammites and flukes when I’m bass fishing though.
I fish taylor creek, and Platts bluff off of the Kissimmee river. Both are great fun for my little jon boat to travel along and target different species. I've used small 3 inch worms on a 1/16 ballhead, and caught many good fish. The menace Ned grub from.strike king has been sweet on my 1/16 bitsy jig as well. Gives me a weed guard to toss into hvy cover. I use 15 lb braid and bait cast bfs setup.6ft8 medium action walmart rod with a modified blackmax reel. Shallow spool,110mm crank arm,and abec 9 ceramic bearings for the spool.
I love the multi species baits.back home I used alot of trout magnet 1/64,ball heads in 1/80,1/100 sizes on 2lb line for winter crappies.I just switched to bfs baitcasting this year! And I can skip my baits under over hanging brush w this setup.and it throws 1/16 bank side to bank side. I'm so stoked! I've caught up to 5lb bass with no issues.just keep grinding that pencil sharpener!💥🎣🤠👍
Micro baits are just always able to get a bite! I used to love that cheap micro chatter bait, but I don’t fish it much anymore…mainly cause it’s so fickle on getting that thing to vibrate needs to be retrieved at the perfect speed and only that speed.
i really liked the versatility of the bait your using...and the fact that it caught multiple species. I hope to see you make more of these videos. GOD BLESS!!! and GO KATS!!!!!!!!!!
Try the Leland Lures Troutslayer on a 1/32oz unpainted or black ballhead jig. Only colors worth your time are black, watermelon, and "natural". Throw away the jigheads that come with it, they're crap. My #1 bait for basically anything in a creek or pond. I've literally caught everything from 2+lb smallmouth to my biggest redeye at 14 inches to a couple random bullheads. I wish you could attach pictures so yall knew I wasn't BSing you. Even caught a rainbow on ot in the Caney Fork.
The statue might be some kind of votive offering. A mild western version might be like a coin in a fountain, but to a much lesser extent. Maybe. Good vid, though.
Very nice video. Got a pack of the green pumpkin micro lures to throw with my new Kastking Zeffer throws them great. Always thought ned rig stands straight up. Could not get it to stand up. Was wondering if you had same issue or is there a specific hook size that makes it stand up?
hello .today i screamed the 2 words when u hear at the lake holy shit.folliwed by the other 3 words please stay on repeated 5 times. it finally happened. i landed my pb at my lake sitting down at 230 pm sunny day.21 inch bass.jum po ed on me 8 times and i was usin a pflueger apprentice combo with 6 lb .my biggest bass in over 20 years .caught on a black, blue zman tickler with zman head 1/15 head.5 bass in few hours i missed 2 .but last 1 was the whopper .im mot sure but i feel i missed this fish 2 days ago and same day 2 hrs prior cause it bit jumped threw the hook on me twice and this thing took off and fought for over 2 minutes. that is why we apend all the time & money for that fish of a liferime .the ones that put a smile on ur face forever when u relive those memories. tight lines.oh and yes the ticklerz are the bomb
so far i had very slow start on the nedrig and wacky rig but the ned is prevailing. hopefully i can use the 300 plus wacjy stick worns i bought this year. i bought more lures on 1 month than i did in 5 years.most stick baits and bout dozen bags of ned wirm from. zman roboworm and a few ticklerz in hi snakes pattern..fou d out the sm lake d ou wn the road is putting out 20 in snakehead..the snajeheads friw very fasf i read.much faster than a bass.they spawn 5 times a year and have way bigger egg numbers.40000 eggs compared to a bass. which has 4000 eggs per lb. so a 4po der 16 k of eggs
I hope Zman and Bobby Garland are sponsoring you, John, as I, and I am sure many others, have gone out and bought much their stuff because of you!! My fishing has changed and improved a LOT since I got hooked on your videos!! Thanks much, John! :-)
That's thing you found and took a picture of is a Budhist Head a (BUST) as they call it, and a big thumbs up on you video.
Welcome to the Zman club. My favorite. I do like my Nikko Hellgrammites though. I haven't gotten any of the micro stuff yet, but I will. Good stuff man.
They have some called LarvaZ that came out. Got me super pumped, picked some up and will be trying them out for trout 👏
Zman rocks! Ty John nice creek
I always have a Z-Man Ned Rig tied on because they just work! They also act as a barometer of how the fish are biting. Dope video man!
Nice little adventure finding little fish. Thanks John for Sharing.

LOL. 1 st on. Let’s see the new lures.
Jigs and soft plastics are imho the best lures to have in your tackle box.
Awesome footage as always crazy to think you have 2 channels, gotta love real genuine content/fishing
I’ve caught 5+ pound bass on micro jigs in the past. Just picked up some of the new Z man microphone so we’ll see what happens. I fish them on 4 pound test typically but sometimes too depending on the water.
They look like great little baits. Thanks for sharing. God bless you and your family......🙏❤🙏❤🙏😊🙂😀
The Zman seems perfect for catching bait fish for catfishing, which I do a lot of. Cool video.

Try hellgrammite on zman weedless Ned rig. Good stuff.
Bet those would work wonders in the Everglade canals for cichlids
I just caught a 3 pound drum on a pink LarvaZ on the 1/15oz head. Great little bait. Tons of action.
Great illustration, great fishing adventure. Thanks for sharing.
earlier today i used something like that on a wacky rig and caught 6 tiny bass. Lots of fun!
Lots of coosa bass today. Like those little lures. Great video. I think your statue is an acorn. Not sure what it would be used for, though.

Looks like a good little lure !
my fave intro . take care dude
Green pumpkin seems to be a good color all around on most any lures.
They ought to call that bait the bass magnet!
Nice micro lure ultralight fishing multi species video I really like the bible verses at the end of the videos
Awesome video man love your videos keep up the good work and go catch some more big ones for us and stay safe
Stay safe from what? Fish aren’t very dangerous.
Great video man..
I thought you had a minnow trap full of live bait there. Nice video, keep grinding!
Glad to see you constantly trying and exposing us to New options! I haven't yet had a chance to try the Mule lures you recently demonstrated with your friend. How do these compare to those? Thanks again as always and God Bless 🙏
In my experience they catch roughly the same amount of fish as a Donkey Tail Jr, but the Donkey Tail Jr. will catch more panfish than bass.
That is a a buddhist statue head. Zman stuff is great. Big fan of their swimbaits for saltwater game.
That's an egg pod from "Alien"
Loved watching this one. Little creeks with lots of action.
Looks like a bigger trout magnet
Tight line
Small, multi-species lures are so much fun in creeks and streams. Thank you for the review. Be well and God bless.

Long time since I have seen the classic intro with that angry sunfish.

Like that new baits as well, great day in the creek in this one.
Great! More stuff to buy.
What line and weight do u use ? Any leaders ? You get smooth and long casts
i really liked the versatility of the bait your using...and the fact that it caught multiple species. I hope to see you make more of these videos.
GOD BLESS!!! and GO KATS!!!!!!!!!!
Good stuff John keep them coming!
Really good creek lure video. You excel at instruction on equipment an lure set up. Good job, John
Great review John, Zman products are a very good for all species of fish. Thanks.
Great video! You ever worry about something biting at your feet? LOL
The bass at the 11:34 mark looks to be an altamaha bass.
it was a coosa bass, but they do look similar just not any in this area
That TFO rod is my favorite, I like it better than my Dobyns
That was a Buddha head. Pretty random.
Those fish may be small ,but they're healthy looking little guys. Fun times!!!
Z MAN is a go to for sure. Extremely durable.
I didn’t know about these. Definitely buying some. Love ZMan plastics. But don’t leave them in a hot car in Summer.
Great video! Hey - Any possibility of CFA coming out with more of the long-sleeved T-shirts? I need another one!
Looked like a Buddha head.
Definitely Buddha
That's what I thought, too
I like when companies make quality small baits.
That’s a very good and effective lure . You got to love it when a plan comes together!
I like your rod and reel combo., it screams professional and,…. Cool.
Thanks for the information great video I will try them
I'd love to use this type of lure on an ultralight in a creek. I already love throwing the Trd Crawz,Ticklerz , and Hogz. 👊👍
Caught my PB on the new micro TRD!
Mini net rig, cool.
Its a big Buddha head. Lol
Looks like a great ultra light bait, I'll get some, thanks for letting us know about them
I would say that that was a successful test run .
Can't wait to see how you do with the new ones you just ordered.
Fantastic video brother 👏
You should throw a standard Ned more often too.
Ahhh it’s always awesome to wake up to a new vid from him😁💪
The rod and reel you are using looked good. Tell us about that tackle set up.
Yelp subbed to your other channel when you first started it
Really enjoy that as well 👍🎣
Good video, what rod are you using? Thanks
6-6 TFD light
Yes I second that question. Need to list rod, reel and line like you used to in ur early vids. Thanks for making me smile John. Great stuff as always.
Oh you did at the end. Opps sorry. Thank you John.
I can’t find those minis anywhere yet. I want to try them on crappie! God Bless
that looked like the head of a statue that you would find in a place like indonesia or se asia somewhere...... intresting
Try the Leland Lures Troutslayer on a 1/32oz unpainted or black ballhead jig. Only colors worth your time are black, watermelon, and "natural". Throw away the jigheads that come with it, they're crap.

Very nice video. Got a pack of the green pumpkin micro lures to throw with my new Kastking Zeffer throws them great. Always thought ned rig stands straight up. Could not get it to stand up. Was wondering if you had same issue or is there a specific hook size that makes it stand up?
they sometimes do, but fish will eat it anyway
@@CreekFishingAdventures right on
Have you tried wacky rigging the turds?
Not yet
That looks exactly like a Crappie Magnet
Your hook removing skills are elite
Awesome buddha head in the river
Gotta get me some of those thank you John
Micro ftw! What bag are you using?
Zman has some good baits
What do you think about the Larvaz? Did you make a video with them?
i did use them a little, caught some fish on them
They only catch coosa bass. Will they catch coosa bass, even when I’m several states away from their range?
@@eric-pi2we Perfect. Any idea how long I should let it sit?
Guaranteed to catch coosa in any body of water!!!
You should check with Mt.Dew to sponser you
These look awesome

What rod were you using ? Any you recommend?
TFO light 6-6
How often do you replace your fishing line
from being old after a few years, just because i want to try something different it gets changed a bit
I have never caught a coosa bass!
Found some kind of alien technology looks like John. Looks kinda gross. Lol
