The Zman Flashback is my all time favorite lure. I’ve tried the 1/16th and and the 1/8th oz versions… use the 1/8th oz. The included trailers are junk, throw them in the trash. Add a 2.5” Zman slim swimz trailer. It is a boot tail… but the action works PERFECTLY with this bladed jig. The only downside, is there is no bait keeper. Add a drop of super glue when you thread on the trailer, and it’s good to go. I also add some pro cure scent. I’ve caught 26 different species of fresh and saltwater fish, including a 6.8lb largemouth and 14 pound blue cat. The main thing to consider… this is a finesse chatterbait. So the hook is very light duty. It’s similar to a standard Ned jig head. The hook can easily be bent out. I exclusively fish this lure with a spinning rod, and if the drag is set correctly, you can give a firm hook set, while not bending out the hook. If a fish sees this lure, no matter how large or small.. it’s gonna eat it. Any time you would throw an in-line spinner, spinner bait, and full size chatterbait, try throwing this instead. It’s a fish catching machine, and you can buy them for under $3!
Got into BFS about 8 months ago and decide to only throw micro finesse baits. My go to is a Micro "TeRD" in either cooper/chartreuse or pb&j with chartreuse head. Got my PB spotted bass with a micro ned at a local pond. Ponds and small lakes close to where I live are highly pressured and not too many people are willing to try something different. Great unboxing! Thanks for posting!
You are not kidding about the fluke bite. Now is the time to throw em. Like your videos, but I have never thrown a ned rig. Got tons of them from subscription boxes. Plan on giving them a shot on the Fox River this fall.
I just got some of the Zman micro. Had to get the 1/30 jig head because mule has been out of my fav 1/32 forever 😭😭. They are rough. Lumpy heads and some open line ties. The micro trds are 🔥. I got them right from the Zman site and they had a new color electric chicken. It’s the 💣.
Tackle Tactics lures has the jigheads you really want!!! The jigheads they made made for the shad fryz are perfect for the presentation. Those EWG jigheads are my favorites for fishing in brush and trash. Tails on the Stingerz are bitten off fairly easily. I still use em. I had to get a Zman Rattle Snaker. It's the way to go when you use rattles. I also decided to try Yum's Hellgrammites. Not sure how well they'll work but they do hide a rattle really nicely so I'm stoked for this years fishing
I fish that flashback mini quite a bit. Super fun to cover water with while staying finesse and it catches just about anything that swims. Unfortunately the plastics that come with it are trash but I've discovered that the Strike King Baby Z Too pairs perfectly with it and is just as durable as a typical zman soft plastic.
Chartreuse works here in Ohio, I own SO many coppertreuse and mexican spice soft plastics lol, you should check out the mexican spice mini stroker craws at 6th sense, I use it on a ned rig all the time creek fishing for smallies
I live in North Idaho, by North I mean I'm a couple hours from Canadian border. And I honestly don't throw a lot of sharp teeth but, because I am sure our legs are similar to your legs extremely clear for the most part deep, most of my smallmouth fishing I do in between 10 and 30 ft, so I will put more chartreuse in my arsenal
Thoughts on Micro Finesse???
1/8oz Chatterbait flashback mini with the nikko tadpole is a slayer.
The micro stuff looks really tempting, especially the TRD. Thinkin’ you’ll be havin’ lots of fun with this order!!! 💥
I’m really hopeful for the micro finesse baits. I only bought the tiny ticklerz and Micro TRD. If they work well I’m going all in!!!
Agreed the flashback slaps super hard here down south too 👌
Great for creek/streams. That's where I spend 90% of my time. 10% bank fishing.

Great stuff by Zman! Thanks Jeff.

Pretty cool micro finesse gear!

Just picked up some flukes today, I’ve slayed tons of trout on the Z-man flashback mini it’s awesome.

Nice unboxing. Definitely peeked my interests in some new stuff

Those micro swimbaits are sick. I love to crappie fish so definitely need some of those lol
That’s why TW is out of the micro Ned heads!!! Im sure these are going to be a game changer.
🙌
Or put the little zman craws on that lil chatter bait. I use all different kinds of little plastics on those.
The micro flashback is my favorite white bass lure. They annihilate it.
Use a mule jig 1/32 jig head on the micro TRD. You'll be shocked at how well it fits.
I just placed my order today on the micro z-man stuff! It seems that you and Ethan are always ordering what I do lol
The Zman micro baits are sick! I just got a TW order today, looks like I need to make another order.
Bro the mini chatter bait is awesome. I don't use the minnows that come with it. Put one of those donkey tails on it. You won't regret it
Done!

I have those! Will try it!
You know what pairs really great with the Zman micro larva? Ethan’s Mule jigs. Money 💰
Those flashback minis catch everything. That was the only lure I used all last year (I used the 1/16th oz)
That larvae looks like it might do well under the ice.
Good call!
Ive used the larvaz and bluegills bite the tail off very easy

I’ve got em and they rock
Yoooo that shirt you're wearing is 🔥.
How do we get that shirt and or sticker?
We’ll do a pre order again soon or put em on the MONSTERBASS website

What size hook and weight was that in the video on them?
It’s the zman micro ned head
@@aaanglers what size?
Probably 1/15 oz
Was this supposed to be the video uploaded before instead of the monsterbass vid?
Is that the video they took down after uploading today? I clicked on the link and it said it was taken down. Same title I think.
Yup, I mistakenly uploaded the wrong vid. That video will be on the MONSTERBASS channel
@@RoamingWhispers call me a lucky person that watched the video before it was taken down
@@aaanglers won't have to watch it on the monsterbass channel since I saw it on your channel before it was taken down
@@nutzpwnz watch it anyway. 😂
too many unboxings....i'm out
K bye
