I remember when they aired this concert on HBO in 1990. As a huge Madonna fan and young preteen girl I thought it was so exciting and empowering. I was a bit young but Madonna was so ahead of her time in so many ways. I recorded the concert on VHS and learned all the dance moves to Express Yourself. It’s amazing what one Madonna concert did for me. It affected how I dressed in the future and my views on fashion, art and music. Thanks for the early education and the inspiration 👑

I was in London for the final show as a young man. Still in awe of her so many years later, it was life affirming.
How old were you at the time?
The choreography from 3:05 to 3:12 is EXTREMELY complex. I’ve never seen anyone duplicate it. The arm interchange is virtually impossible to master.. yet they make it seem so effortless.
Best tour she ever did and this is possibly my favourite performance in it (along with Like A Prayer).
