Nice, I just picked mine up today. Ordered it a couple weeks ago and it Finally came in. Took about 1 month to get from my day of purchase. I need it to rebuild a Dump body and then it will probably just turn into a Generator for power outages after. Looks like some people have over 1000 hours on some units.

I bought this machine shortly after the it was introduced, use it daily my only complaint about it is the exhaust no matter what I do it seems like the bolts just keep coming loose from the manifold. Surprised HF discontinued it.
There is a website that has different aftermarket exhaust options for this unit. If I can find it again, I will come back and post the info. Thanks for watching!
I hear it was because of lack of interest. I can't believe that. It's an awesome machine. Usually, when HF discontinues something, it's because a new version is coming out. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I found this used on Marketplace about 45 minutes away from me. I got it that day for $1000.
@calvinlopez190 That's awesome. My store told me that they are discontinued, and won't be getting any more, and there is none at the warehouse. I've had people tell me that their stores, mainly in the Mid-West and Northern, that their store has one. I couldn't find one within 300 miles of Seneca SC. Then, one day a used one popped up on Marketplace. I called him and told the guy I would be there in 30 minutes. If I see another one, I might grab it too. I just really wanted a brand new one with warranty. But this one was only $1000 used with very little use.
You can order these in store for free pickup. It is back on the website as a "new" product. I'm not sure ,but I think covid hit right after these were introduced. Maybe problems supplying them.
I've Heard lots of good things about the 195 Outlaw from Harbor Freight I'd like to get one for a second rig my first setup and current setup is a Hobart 225 I don't use it all that much but when you need it you need it reason I don't use it so much is because it's heavy it weighs about 450 lb that's a heavy generator better to do anything I wanted to do the main reason I like it is it will carbon gouge and it will push a big suitcase feeder like a Profax or a ln-25 seeing you use this little welder today makes me want to go buy one
Well, unfortunately they are discontinued. If you check around, a store nearby might have one. One guy on here said he had to drive 2 hours to another state to get one.
@derekbryant6137 that's a good one. Depending on your workload, sometimes the Hobart 145 might be all you'd need. Klutch (Northern Tool) also makes one very comparable to the Outlaw. It's also a 190amp I think. And about $2000.
@@AllStarWeldingSC I really appreciate all those suggestions but I'm kind of spoiled I love electric start but I also like the option of having the starter rope so I can hand crank it sometimes I weld on stainless steel and I need the amperage for the work I do

But now I have some editing software, and have been trying to make them better. I have many great ones coming. I have one I am working on now on a new welder from PrimeWeld.
Nice brother. I have the Vulcan 195 as well I think it’s a great machine. I can run my 180 MiG on it but it won’t run my Vulcan MiG 215 I guess the 215 is to strong
Is the generator it's self producing inverter power to the outlets ? I understand the welder uses inverter technology but I'm curious about the ac outlets ? Thanks , Jim
@AllStarWeldingSC the easiest way would be to test the hertz at the plugs , a inverter will stay @ 60. I actually found a floor model still in stock and was able to look myself. It's a non inverter generator with a welder tucked in. The good thing is if welder goes out the generator will still make power and vice versa you could pull the welder out and use it on pretty much any generator.
The Titanium 125 Flux works great off the Outlaw. I do it all the time. In my shop, anything over a D-6 for longer than a minute will pop the breaker. If you want to really crank up the Titanium, run it off the generator to really get the most out of the Titanium.
@toprankintv9122 hey! I know I promised a video showing actual welding, but I keep having 3 of the 7 bolts that hold on the crankcase cover on, and I'm spilling oil all over the place. So, I'm going to fix that Sunday, and I will make a video about it and post it Sunday night. Watch for it. It will be pretty interesting, because I have to separate the engine from the generator. I was just on Harbor Freights Web Site and the welder/generator is available. It looks to have been redesigned using the Predator Generator. $1799

How did you get it in store they have none where I’m at and I don’t think you can order it online
Will the 240v plug run a separate welder ok? I sometimes use a mig welder on aluminum or bust out the flux core. 😊

Did you disconnect the batteries on that truck or no need to do that? Some welders are afraid to fry the computer on those trucks.
That truck has battery switches that he turns off when he's done for the day. So they were already off.

Thank you! It is 3/4 plate. We modeled it after another one he has, which was only 1/2". He supplied the hitch.
