A few years ago I bought a Bandit 400 91'. That sensation when you pass the 6000 revolutions, the screaming of the bike telling you "here comes the good part my boy"
It's the best, I bought a bandit 250 90' last year The sensation for me comes around 8-10,000 but I imagine it's similar XD I hope the rumors about the kawasaki 400cc inline four are true, because I can't think of any new bike that feels this good under 400cc's gotta take good care of what we have I suppose.
I just bought a 91’ bandit 400 in the red black spec as my first bike. It got me absolutely hooked the moment I took it on the road. A couple things need to be done to it, the front suspension leaks and the handlebars turn more to one side than the other which I haven’t found a source of yet (the limiter is probably off idk) but with the price I bought it for it was an absolute steal. It’s the end of the season now so I have time to work on it. This video was one of the things that got me interested in this particular bike so kudos for it 😃
Great Bike. My first bike was a 1992 GSF 400 Bandit that I purchased new is 1992. Mine got about 50 - 55 MPG. I rode it about 12K before selling it after I got married.
Are you sure that your bike is from 1989? Because the first Suzuki Bandit 400 model was sold only in blue colour with silver frame. The red and the green bandits (also with frame in the same colour) didn't came until the end of 1991 (1992 model).
I live in Europe, my girlfriend has an A2 license and that does not allow power above 35KW. Hence why it is slightly reduced. You barely notice the difference though.
@@ΠαυλοςΓατσακος very easy I think . I had a bandit 400 and it had the original Japanese 58 hp carburettor. You just need to modify your carburettor plastic lid on top of the carburettors . Or buy a used Japanese lid for your carburettors. This allows more air into the carburettors. If you take off the lids of the carburettors there will be smooth walls on the Japanese version , on restricted bikes there will be a stopper restricting upwards movement of the carburettor slide. I bet you can find something online about it. But I don't know if you have to change your air fuel mixture afterwards
Basically any line 4 that revs to 14000 rpm. But these are usually only supersports not naked motorcycles. Maybe like a more modern gsr600 or something?
Mmm dirty riding style - abrupt cutoff accelerator. To late full throttle. Looks like begginner or safety mama maria ( This video is the answer, why better buy 600cc motorcycle, but not 400cc beginner`s school-table
Whats important is riding what you enjoy, and not getting hurt while doing it. Not everybody is an expert rider, I am not either but i enjoy my bikes and thats what matters.
You'll never get the sensation of revving your bike to 14k rpm in 1st and 2nd gear in a 600cc bike. The 4-cyl 250s are even better for that but they're less usable at higher speeds.
@@MrJonas7 I agree, though I wouldn't shy away from 250s if that's all that's available. My bandit250 has turned out to be pretty comfortable on the highway. They make similar hp to the ninja 400 with a similar top speed. Now...the maintenance schedule on it is another story 😢.
@@Nevetssss I have a Bandit 400 but it's quite uncomfy at highway speeds. But I love it nonetheless. Didn't buy a bigger bike even though I could. Haha
@@MrJonas7 have you tried one of those throttle paddles? I don't think about it now, but before I used one my throttle hand would go numb from the vibration, especially at 10,000rpm. Getting one of those helped a lot. It's my first bike though so I probably have rose colored glasses. 😅

My first bike was a Suzuki Bandit GSF 400 year '92 . Just rode it for one time and police took it it had no papers no plate , I miss it..
Can't wait to get mine on the road... it's just sitting in the driveway
Thanks for your video ! That way I can still ear what my bike sound like when I forget during the long winter !
I’ve brought a bandit 400 as a bike to restore and have as my first non 125, I’m quite excited to get it on the road and see how this thing performs
Nice, very relaxing picture with great motor sound!
The Bandit 400 in red colour came at the end of 1991 along with the green one.
I sold my 400 when I got married. Big mistake. I regret it all the time.
Selling the bike or getting married? 😂

blurring the speedo while speeding made me laugh. smart move ;-)
Great exhaust!
Was thinking about grabbing one of these after passing my A2 license , is it worth it ?
Nice bike.
Can it cruise comfortably at 80mph / 130kmh?
130 and you are at a somewhat high rpm...
How much is the Suzuki Bandit 400 for complete papers?
Bro, you have gsx r125?
14km/l is bad :/ I got 20km/l on my 1996 gpz500s. Btw how much is consumption of Bandit 250?
It's almost the same these old carburetted Inline fours are gas guzzlers
The most similar now is the gsr 600
its a good first bike?
very good as a first bike
dropped a sub! -CausedOG
Name of exhaust ?
Petation stock exhaust
