Why every motorcyclist should visit the south of France!
Short compilation of my 2021 motorcycle trip to the South of France, going through the hills along the south coast and mountains of the Pyrenees range.
There are endless twisty roads here, the road surface is not as good sometimes, but still highly enjoyable for a motorcycle tour.

MV Agusta Brutale 750S, the everyday supersport (exhaust sound only)

This is my 2004 MV Agusta Brutale 750S. I just bought this bike used and theyre a good deal nowadays. Probably because people dont trust the reliability on these things. Its quite sporty, but still decently comfortable for weekend rides. My absolute favorite thing about it: the engine! Its an addicting little machine that makes you want to rev it hard all the time. I see these on marketplace in the states from time to time. Lovely little bike, but the ones I see are rarely ever runners. Lots of project bikes that look like they've been sitting apart a long time. It's a shame. 400's are back, and stuff like this and the cb1 are dying of old age all over the place

    I just bought a 91’ bandit 400 in the red black spec as my first bike. It got me absolutely hooked the moment I took it on the road. A couple things need to be done to it, the front suspension leaks and the handlebars turn more to one side than the other which I haven’t found a source of yet (the limiter is probably off idk) but with the price I bought it for it was an absolute steal. It’s the end of the season now so I have time to work on it. This video was one of the things that got me interested in this particular bike so kudos for it 😃

      Good service records & fluid changes. The factory say 3800miles approx/6000kms for oil etc but I would recommend half that interval at least. Only use premium products..... Anything near 7500 miles or 12000kms should have valve clearance checks or a record of it being done. This is a expensive service. Many owners sell the bike just before this is due to avoid the expense. Many dealers won't discuss it... Rear hub requires servicing at the same mileage /km. Many upgrade rear hub to a item by jetprime or mitchies. The original one is fine, but remember it does need maintenance. Avoid dusty roads or heavy water.... Make sure bolts that hold rear hub are torqued exactly otherwise they oval and the bearings fail. The fuse box can ingress water and cause issues. Silicon seal the opening to the fuse box. Don't wash the bike with pressure washer or try not to hose wash as you will eventually end up with some small electrical problems. Keep battery on charger when not in use to avoid any starter issues. Keep the chain well lubricated and adjusted perfectly to avoid charter which will eventually wear on rear hub. Only use the best tyres as there isn't any rider aids and the throttle is very sensitive and takes a little time to get use to.... Only use premium fuel as the ethanol in low grade can perish the fuel hoses and make the nylon tank expand. The 4 cylinder bikes are very reliable if well looked after, history is desirable. Factor lack of history into negotiation. My MV 4 cylinder f4 engine experience has been positive. You often see high km bikes on thr market. Most importantly ride regularly, most mvs suffer from lack of use, hence some small problems associated with poor storage.... Good luck! 👍

      You'll never get the sensation of revving your bike to 14k rpm in 1st and 2nd gear in a 600cc bike. The 4-cyl 250s are even better for that but they're less usable at higher speeds.

      @DrKampfpudding 2 роки тому

      @@ΠαυλοςΓατσακος very easy I think . I had a bandit 400 and it had the original Japanese 58 hp carburettor. You just need to modify your carburettor plastic lid on top of the carburettors . Or buy a used Japanese lid for your carburettors. This allows more air into the carburettors. If you take off the lids of the carburettors there will be smooth walls on the Japanese version , on restricted bikes there will be a stopper restricting upwards movement of the carburettor slide. I bet you can find something online about it. But I don't know if you have to change your air fuel mixture afterwards
