@@sapok6687 do weighted pushups, honestly anything more than 8 reps, is not for building strength. Then just progressive overload with the weight and do like 4 sets of the pushups.
Honestly guys, if you can do 30 pushups with strict form, you should probably add some weighs to it. It will make the exercise harder and stimulate your muscles more in a hypertrophy way rather than durability.
I can do 20/25, but I feel like without extra weight I'm not progressing much, and I can't make my explosiveness better, should I start adding weight too?

Look at it this way, you increased the amount you could to 750% of what you could before, that's a pretty big achievement And don't feel too disheartened if you aren't noticing much of a change with your weight going forward, muscle is more dense than fat and tends to weigh more despite taking up the same amount of space, so even if you aren't seeing a difference, you should be able to feel it
The advice I'd give people in regards to push ups is this: Your aim shouldn't exactly be to do 'more' push ups, it doesn't matter if you can do 10 or 100, what you want to do instead is aim for a set of 10, then when you can consistently do the set, make the set more difficult. Start off with normal push ups, then after you can do 10 of them fine, aim for elevated push ups, and keep going like that until you can hit a set of 10, maybe even switch to 1 handed push ups if you're feeling confident, or even handstand push ups. If you can't do a normal push up, aim for doing a set on your knees, as long as you work the motion and muscles and work towards improving, you're good. Easily the most convienient exercise for anyone

I’m gonna be honest, I’m 16 years old and can only do three push-ups with decent form. I’m around 130 lbs at 5'10 and I’ve been going to the gym consistently for about 5 months. I train for hypertrophy so my goals aren’t really much strength but I’m gonna change that soon. Also I should mention that I was always skinny not fat
I used to do 2 sets of 50 pushups per day on my own time and 5 sets of 20 pushups per day in warm-ups in karate class, not counting whatever we did in the Cardio Kickboxing class every day.
Push-ups are very underrated, when I couldn’t go to the gym in the summer keep in mind I couldn’t bench one plate my entire life. So I would do like 15 push ups a day and next time I went to the gym I repped one plate 3 times
I can do 80 slow, deep pushups, hands wide or close in. I can do about 60 or so angle down, with my feet up on a chair and hands on the floor. I can also do 180 shallow fast reps in one set. Probably not as good as slow deep, but it's at least a good short cardio burst. I'm 71 years old btw.
I do 32 push-ups also push-ups pull-ups and dips are all super underrated I only do calisthenics and Th ose are my main exercises because my level isn’t quite to that of most calisthenics influencers yet

It hurts me to encounter a short that goes like "here's why a man should do this many push ups" and "if you can only do this your overweight". Everytime i have a conversation with a person about who is fat and who is not i always make sure im the first one to say that im fat asf. It has become my identity now. Although sometimes i don't really see myself as overweight, its just that i haven't seen any differences yet. I have insulted myself so much that i started to harm myself. Mentally and physically. The point of this comment? These types of videos hurt people like me, please show show some more kindness instead of saying what men have to be 🙏💔
I like to do very slow, controlled push ups, to build stability and mind-muscle connection. I can do 3 push ups with 5 seconds to go down, and 5 seconds going up
As a 13 year old kid I can do 50 push ups 😊
Diamond push ups are favorit. Currently at 50 reps but i want to reach 100. Push to failure and continue with knee push ups is a great drop set
Me being 13 and can already do 50+ push-ups:I feel really good about myself now
I started out only being able to do about 10 good push ups, and with consistent training everyday I’ve finally reached a max of 80
I started not being able to do a single one and now I can crank 25 to 30
bro is the best looking african amaricen iv seen
Who is he to tell us all how many pushups someone should be able to do 😂
50 + squad here let’s get it baby
Keep in mind with horrible form😂😂😂 that was funny
he said man not boys 🥲
1 year ago i couldn’t do even 1 pushups but now i can do 30 without rest with a good form.
Also I should mention that I was always skinny not fat
those that did 30 pushups after watching the video 👇
I used to do 2 sets of 50 pushups per day on my own time and 5 sets of 20 pushups per day in warm-ups in karate class, not counting whatever we did in the Cardio Kickboxing class every day.
Push-ups are very underrated, when I couldn’t go to the gym in the summer keep in mind I couldn’t bench one plate my entire life. So I would do like 15 push ups a day and next time I went to the gym I repped one plate 3 times
This video made me increase my pushups from 2-3 to 40 in a set
I can do 30 without break atm. Thanks for the motivation
I can’t even do one, I just fall on the floor 💀💀
I can do 80 slow, deep pushups, hands wide or close in. I can do about 60 or so angle down, with my feet up on a chair and hands on the floor. I can also do 180 shallow fast reps in one set. Probably not as good as slow deep, but it's at least a good short cardio burst. I'm 71 years old btw.
I do 32 push-ups also push-ups pull-ups and dips are all super underrated I only do calisthenics and Th ose are my main exercises because my level isn’t quite to that of most calisthenics influencers yet
A friend of mine who got me into the gym, was able to do 63 CLEAN push ups since then I really want to be able to do the same
The guy with no arms:😐
Finally a a reasonable amount that doesent make me feel like a failure at life 💀
My record to this day is 20 push-ups per series. I'm currently on 15 push-ups, but because I'm trying to slow down my performance to have more tension.
Hold my beer
Im 12 years old and im doing 20 push ups everyday, i started in december 2023 and now i feel good
No matter how long I stop working out, if I can’t do at least 50 without stopping, I’m officially going into panic mode.
