- Ok this one was kind of lazy. Decided to just rip from stream, but I wanted to do a live reaction to the first patch notes since december to see what changed. A lot of bug fixes, some minor changes here and there, new weapons, and overall pretty good vibes. Few questionable changes, but whatever we'll see what happens in the future.

Wait so with the changes to Summoner, if we are using an explosive mod, we would get the 35% damage bonus to the explosion AND another 35% to the mod itself?
Yep!
rip the spectral blade build was some of the most fun ive had with melee, OP 100% it was but damn it was cool
RIP but I agree with the change at least when it comes to damaging enemies. Where the blade stands currently is where it should stand to the damage it does to mobs, my one request to the devs would be please make resonance effect the radius the blade breaks items like barrels, pots, wood ECT. I would be 100% happy with that being the only thing the resonance trait effects when it comes to the spectral blade.
So, with explorer its better to treat it as a buff focused archerype rather then a DPS archetype. Its actually really good if you focus around buff skills then not doing so. They can last up to 70 seconds, 70, seconds. That basically means an entire fight, which is massive since most fights last that long, especially with multiple people. I have played with some very good players with my buff support build, and they were surprised at how much and how long their damage bonuses were. The build is a handler/explorer and its incredibly good build
Even with the explosive damage scaling for Summoner, it ONLY kicks in if you sacrifice them, so the summons are still in the same spot they’ve been in since the game released where they deal almost no damage.
And the sad part is, even when you make a build to specifically push their damage higher, it ends up not being worth it because of all the hoops you have to jump through to get to that point. (AKA, boosting their damage with attack dog howl, burden of the Sciolist, soul guard, either Silver Ribbon or Soul Anchor, and using a combination of Atonement fold, kinship, and blood bond to keep the summoner prime perk damage boost always active, AND taking a relic every so often to keep the Incite damage boost active.)
ALL of that is required to make them do at least decent damage, which is a freaking ridiculous amount of upkeep and micromanagement.
25:33 - 26:35 I completely agree. This is a huge nerf to crescent moon’s overall dps. Hopefully in the next patch they increase the base damage or do something to offset the dps loss from the mod. It was only OP with sequenced shot, which they changed anyway.
Have you put the bug reports/feedback in the discord?
Also, Invader REALLY needs better ways to spawn decoys as a secondary archetype.
The healing speed got nerf
did they fix the issue where longer status duration actually decrease the dps in order to keep the total damage up? i didn't read it in there
They fixed that a long time ago
@@kelmirosue3251 sorry, I must have missed a patch note somewhere
I'm sure I've never read it
So
Follow up question
Is band of the fanatic good now or not?
@@robertomacetti7069 it depends on the DoT build tbh, and how often you're able to re-apply DoT's
@@kelmirosue3251 about every half second with the ritualist lmao
@@robertomacetti7069 Then yeah Band of the Fanatic is good
Are there any good melee builds in this now? Only played the first one, and didn’t like it too much. Thanks in advance.
Melee is significantly better in this game. There is more melee ranged options and more tools for it
Hey man don’t be mean to your dog
wanting to play with friends has to be a gen z thing...i can see after the first playthrough but it would ruin the experience for the first playthrough
Wanting to hang out with your friends is something only genz does?
Game is a great experience coop 1st playthrough?
Gen X here. Playing together is just more fun.
Friendless behavior.
That is probably one of the dumbest takes I've ever heard lol
