Our tiny house homestead project began in September 2020 and has taught us so many lessons along the way. Sometimes it feels like we bit off more than we can chew, but we're now in awe of how well everything is coming together! None of these projects would be possible without YOU, so thank you for being here and following along with our journey!
5 of the 6 of our projects are in the final stages!!!
    1. Ultimate Off Grid Campervan
    2. Workshop & Garage Renovation
    3. Barn & Land Construction
    4. Cabin in the Woods
    5. Building a Shipping Container Home
    6. Upper Workshop Renovation
We're hoping to be hitting the road in our completed campervan and exploring Europe throughout 2023. This tiny house homestead is the ultimate base for us to have and come back to relax to when we need a bit of a travel break!

    🐾 Who are we?
We’re Ladi (from Czechia) & Margaret (from USA) and we love eBikes, campervans, & cats. In 2020 our van life lifestyle flipped upside down, & we needed to stop traveling in our camper to lockdown in eastern Czech Republic due to the pandemic. With no travel plans and some new time on our hands, we decided to sell our old van, start an electric bike business, begin a youtube channel, build our ultimate dream campervan, renovate a junkyard into a tiny house homestead, plan a container & upper workshop space… well, some other smaller projects in-between 😅.
What we thought would only be 6 months of “stillness” has become 2 years of innovation, progress, and so much fun, and most of that is thanks to YOU. Although we’re excited to be back on the road and traveling the world again soon, we’re so thankful to lay a foundation here in Central Europe & bring you with us on this crazy journey. Thank you for supporting us and being part of this incredible community!

Here's our summary video (part 3 of 4) of the Container Build Project! If you've been following our vlogs each week, you've likely seen some of this work sprinkled throughout time. This vid is a fun way to keep it all organized and have that nice satisfaction of watching a single project move forward :) The full playlist can be found here: ua-cam.com/play/PLiNFT2nrwhsl44S4YkTGCnKd74j0-7dVj.html

The change from an ugly junkyard to a classy shop and tiny house is nothing short of astonishing. Vision, lots of hard work, and a touch of genius make it all happen. I can't wait to see what you do next.

Yay! A new vid from Ladi & Margaret and Kitten. I'll have to wait until Troy gets home from work so we can watch it together or I'll get in trouble. 🤣 I cannot believe the amount of projects that you undertook at the same time and the sheer volume of what you've accomplished! Well done. 💞

Love how ya'll set up the container home!!! Very nicely done!! My favorite thing aside from it being built extremely well, with awesome materials, is the window, slider, layout. I love how one side faces the covered porch area, yet, for privacy you have the other slider facing the river area, for a total privacy, outdoor feel. Loved the video audio filter Margaret!! 🤣 you should do it more often! Lol. Looking good you guys!! I remember seeing the property in the beginning, and was like, pondering all the different things that could be done. It's really cool to see your vision of the property similar, and, to have followed through with changing that property for ever.!! Love it! ---peace!

Everytime I watch your videos I am inspired and start making lists of what I have to do tomorrow. It’s such a good feeling as that list of jobs is sometimes so overwhelming and as I said I’m yet again inspired and tomorrow is insulating the summer house and painting the fence followed by power washing the paving . Xxx
I could do with a man , someone like Ladi but until then I see no reason why I can’t do these jobs !

Great Video, I really love the look of those Containers. There is just one thing that seems strange to me. Why did you show the clip of the wall installation for the Bed a second Time and have these big back and forth time-jumps between the videos? Is it for better storytelling? Because in one week I'm like "when did you build all of this stuff, that is already finished in the video" and in the next week the progress from last week is gone.

    • @ladiandmargaret
      @ladiandmargaret  Рік тому +2

The progress disappeared? Did I mess something up in the timeline? Normally we upload a vlog each week but this video is a summary of the container build over the past few months (we’re making 4 of them so it’s easy to watch one project start to finish) we keep everything organized in our playlists

Small hint from someone who’s going to be 60 soon:
the older you get the more convenient it gets to sleep lengthwise. You don’t have to climb over your partner if you need to use the toilet at night - which definitely you‘ll need to one day. 😉
