I just ordered this adapter. The Type-C prongs (EU) appear to be slightly bent inward. Is yours like that as well? I am concerned that since they aren't straight it might not work properly.

Hey there, Sir. Not necessarily a question regarding this specific adaptor alone, but I recently purchased an *Anabas Gp-n3r Audio Portable Record Player* from Japan. Only to then discover after it arrived at my doorstep, that plugging the 100v adaptor (in which it came with) into an electrical outlet here in Canada (which I believe, but do not quote me, is 120v) would & did cause the player to come to a sudden halt after about a minute or two of playing a Lp on it. So to make a long story short, might you know that if I purchased this particular device to use in concert with the afore mentioned player, might it eliminate that from ever happening again? And or if not, might you know what I could use instead? Hope that my question made sense. And that perhaps you can help me out, as well. Thanks so much.
    *P.S. Now *subscribed!!!*
    Cheers!!!

No it will not. You will need a voltage converter. For most bigger appliances/electronics such as hair dryers, microwaves etc. they will only be set to that country's AC voltage use unlike smaller electronics such as cell phones and laptops which are dual voltage typically 100v - 240v.
