@lmfscrew , honestly, Larry would do just fine if you drove around the mud holes. When my buddy and I drove that trail almost 2 years ago, I never had to use 4wd and I went around the mud holes as it was my first time off roading in my truck and I didn't care to risk becoming a human lightning rod checking them. I would definitely be down for meeting up at that trail as I'm just an hour and a half away.

My advice on boots my guy, unless youre going to wear them to hard work working machinery or digging trenches for cables etc you get the point, DONT GET A WESTERN WORK BOOT the soles are way thicker than they need to be they offer no ankle support of any kind and you feel everything through them. You just need a nice set of light daily boots composite toe if you want but id get a low top that actually laces up. Save the weight, get more support and and get a much better sole generally. Personally i went with a carharrt ground force and they are absolutely incredible in every aspect in comparison to my ariat intrepids and i bought two sets for the price of the one set of ariats which i will say were completely worn out in about 8 months
Looks so much better with the stocks than it does those stretched rubber bands, I know different tastes but idk how anybody can like the look with your “street” wheels and tires

I always think about that when I watch about how much longer the trail riding takes just due to setting up the shots and going back for the camera.
