Getting out of the drowning state (the mud with the swingshot) turns on ghost ratchet, a developer state which lets you go through walls and uncaps your speed, so i just used that to make the grounded long jumps even faster
@@AleMusa Is there a video on how it works? I thought it might have been the liquid resets during cutscenes or when it's loaded, because as I understand it the liquid is actually physics based, it's just heavily cut down from the liquid in the Insomniac Muesaum
Since TAS is considered the best possible way of completing a world, is for example veldin 1 not possible to complete any faster than displayed in the video? Or is this just the fastest way of doing it currently but there are chances of it being completed faster if new discoveries were made?

No but opening the pda to cancel the animation is a frame perfect trick. It has been done multiple times in runs but no one is good with that camera

RNG locking lol. Just forcing the RNG of the game to be to specific values, it can control pretty much most effects and visual stuff of the game
