We are happy that you came to Turkey, Daniel. A very valuable team of divers welcomed you. We enjoyed sharing this beautiful diving experience with us. I recommend you to visit Çanakkale on your next visit. Its history and underwater richness will provide you with ample opportunity to have a great time.🇹🇷🧿🙋
Thank you very much. The guys were absolutely amazing and so welcoming. We drove the car down through Çanakkale over the big bridge but didn’t have time to stop sadly. Next time!
Welcome to Turkey Daniel, I hope you enjoyed the Turkish friendship and hospitality, it was a quality hunting adventure with expert hunters, congratulations...
hey you found the best 2 of spearfishers in Turkey especially Sabri. He is a true veteran. and also Serhan. He knows every rocks every holes and knows every cantimeters of this area. very good team. Good fishes . Good trip. Glad to be here.
Top guys well done chaps. I love Türkiye and the people have always been incredible welcoming and friendly which is 90% of the experience! Trip of a lifetime this Daniel! Enjoy brother
Great to see you in Turkey. I just flew in from Istanbul and watched your video on the drive home. By the looks of it you just got a taste of what turkey has to offer. You still have not seen large dentex, or levrek (sea bass ) or even amber jacks. They have multiple types. And if you are lucky you’ll see an orkinos or tuna. Maybe in bodrum near the fish farms you’ll get lucky. Look up a guy by the name Hüseyin Günel. You’ll see what turkey has in its waters.
Another cracking video mate, makes me proud to see my fellow Turks taking care of you and you guys having such a good time there. Im all exited about getting back to Turkiye now in May.
Great Video Daniel! How good you're travelling Europe and diving all these spots and being able to share it with your wife. Living the dream mate! Turkey has some realy nice spots and fish if you know where to go. Well done turkish veterans there : )
As the saying goes, 90% of fish is in 10% of the water. So either Turkey really does have a ton of fish, or maybe 3 guys with decades of experience each, took you to the 10% places, somewhat distorting the perception :) Amazing video as always, great vibe, great footage, great commentary!
There could be a bit of that going on. However there was a lot more fish life in general compared to other places in the med I’ve been. Lots of smaller fish and sargos. I dived other places in Türkiye and found the same thing. Way more than other places in Greece I’ve dived.
@@daiquiri. I’m from Turkey. You don’t need a permit. Spearfished fish are not legal to sell and you just need to dive in areas that are open for divers. That I check online on navionics website. I just avoid military places and other forbidden areas. Also you can’t dive after dark. And normally you are not supposed to dive with high lumen flashlight but they usually don’t care about that if you don’t get in trouble. I’ve never heard anyone getting their gear checked when everything else was normal. And if you get caught violating these rules, they confiscate all your gear. That I’ve heard about multiple times.
Daniel I'm always happy to see your videos. You do such an amazing job. I think the key to having a successful UA-cam channel relies on a few factors. One is to have an amazing video photographer which you are. Two is a great topic of interest and excellent editing skills. And number three the most important in my mind. Is having a great narration voice. My friend you have all of that. It's always a privilege to see your videos. Thank you and keep up the great work.
Very cool Dan! Love to see the fishlife in Turkey, I've always wondered what it's like there after hunting in North Cyprus for so long, looks like a great difference!

Happy to see my hometown from your camera. Dream team, great fishes, awesome journey and congratulations. But let me be honest😜it looks like, not to let you know their own and best spots, they took you to the guests spots in which dentex salutes you from distance, not come close enough to shot😬 only locals know where to find docile dentex in Alaçatı so it’s unlikely you can find one in guests spots, see what Sabri managed!! Of course just joking😜 Hope you had the best memories and come back one day to shot your dream dentex. Suggest you give a try at the end of spring in the same spots when big dentex stop by on their migration route.🇹🇷
