U could have pressed the sync button on the game pad with the the stylus provided on the top of the game pad..
Its really cool how nintendo have incorporated a built in game with the wii U ;)
The game is actually setting up the game pad with the wii U LOL I am messing serious just setting the whole thing up is fascinating i am wanting a wii U now :)

Nope my mom uses a old tube TV and I am trying to encourage her to get a new one because on the top of the screen there's this line that's getting worse as time goes by and I think it means that the TV is beginning to die and my mom needs a TV to go to sleep.

yep i mean definitely better than before, except the one i use to play video games on is a old tv and i think we still have 5 other old tvs

Man I remember watching these videos before i had a wii u to get me hyped now i have it but I don’t play it that often i only play wii games on it because my wii u gamepad battery is weak so i need to get it a new battery but now i have a switch and most of the wii u games are on switch so im still alright

Ok, i have the weirdest problem. My game pad worked perfectly when you had to hit the symbols and stuff, but when i got to the part where you simply have to tap the screen, the game pad wouldnt work. I tapped and tapped, and supposedly when you hit the home button, an icon should appear in the top left corner saying unable to acsess home or something, but that didnt happen. I tried charging it too..
Depends on your conection (strength) and traffic (how many people are trying to update).
does the wi fi actualy connect because some people have had problems with it not connect to router cos i pre ordered a wii u that's out here in europe november 30th 2012 cos if i can't get online i will be very mad if that wi fi dont work????

when i was setting up my wii u, it showed like this code thing to connect to facebook, and i cant find it. ive been searching the internet of how to find it but i still cant find out how to get back there

on the home menu of the Wii U, when the mii's surround the things will they always be from nintendo or will they be differnet people from online?

When you did setup the TV if you press the letter s then did you see "Sharp" because that's my TV

W video I remember getting the Wii U back in 2016 for my birthday and I still my have it to this day and works beautifully. Now I have 2 Wii Us. One is the one I got in 2016 and now I got another one for Christmas of 2023 and Im planning on modding that one. :)

My Wii U is all plugged in and it still won't show up on my tv my HDMI is plugged in. Nintendo isn't helpful

Probably. You will need the updates to get online though.

Instead of getting the wii u october first my parents changed their mind and bought it today and this time the update only took 20 minutes for me
So 4 hours later and your finally ready to play a game, but wait... Now you gotta spend a couple hours charging up the game pad... So maybe on day two, you might get a chance to finally play. lol.

Raul Villa If the VIZIO TV supports HDMI then yes; you can use the included HDMI Cable. If not just go to Gamestop, Best Buy, or Walmart. And buy an Wii/Wii U HD Component Cable. For Older TVs you can use an older Wii Composite A/V cable. (You can use an RF Modulator for Older Retro TVs, that don't have Composite A/V inputs)

Do you really need a flat screen tv for the Wii u
It will work on older, CRT tv's, too (box tv's). You'll just need an AV Cable that came with original Wii's.
