As a 69 yo native Houstonian I enjoyed all the pics from my hometown! I was bon in 1954!
My parents grew up in this time. A lot has changed since then including the prices of food haircuts & movie tickets
I'd go back again if I could in a heartbeat !!!
But you have now more avocado to cook guacamole.
@@gustavoperez5480 I grow my own, thank you
@@gustavoperez5480 cook guacamole? lol
I absolutely love these videos. Thank you
Happy to hear 😍🫶🏼
Great photos!! (I especially loved seeing the old Philly ones since that's where I was born and raised) I always thought that the 50's, had such great style....classy and sophisticated!!😘
The women were so young and gorgeous!
Bellissima America anni 50.60. La moda . Le macchine .le moto . La musica .l'architettura. Top la vera America. Pulita.ordinata.
I love the picture of the cop and the kid in the toy car.
Would make a great painting.
Yeah, however the kid was later arrested because the toy car was stolen from another kindergarten class mate.
Bahia Mar.. spent many wonderful times there W/mom& dad as a kid in the ‘70s 5:05
I love these shots and have been subscribed for some time. What never fails to amaze me is that truly beautiful women always find new and innovative ways to express both their beauty and sexiness. This video clearly shows how it was done in that era.
You can clearly see the influence that Elvis had on guys with the hair and clothes!!! Love it!!!
I'm enjoyed.Thank you
❤️👊
The era before processed food. No fat people.
Ooooooh so coolly cool ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊!
Magnifiques souvenirs ❤️
people are those day so much better dressed
The good ol' days.
Only 2 genders. No alphabet specialty groups, then.
Boys were boys and girls were girls.
Made things alot easier. No bs.
No tutti frutti hair colors either.
Girls didn't have more tattoos than guys. As a matter of fact, I don't recall them even having one. Only strippers and burlesque dancers had them. (you know, women of ill repute).
Women didn't go crazy with piercings, either. Just had one on the bottom of the ear lobes.
Only girls had long beautiful hair that smelled terrific when they washed it. They styled it, too.
Guys kept their hair cut short and neat. No beards or mustaches allowed. Clean shaven, they called it.
Progress(??) You can have it.
Simpler times. How I miss them. 😢
23:45 Photo of a Vally National Bank Office Building was in Phoenix. there was never one that size in Tucson.
in NY city @13:39 only one building is still standing today. The yellowish building on the right.
Where is all the trash on the streets? Strange
Wasn't common to use tons of plastic on those days.
The aesthetics of the buildings have changed as well
It’s cool but I’m a little thrown off by the roaring twenties music they oughtta be playing frank sinatra or some fifties music
Muito bom
Denver Illinois??
Never heard of Denver, Illinois, before 🤔
It appears in these photos that women had more time to walk the shopping areas than men or maybe the men were mostly working.
That's mostly all from the east coast and the southern states. What about the west and the northwest states?
Is that all they want to show is places like NYC, Dallas there is other cities in the USA
What are you panning the pictures for, more money?
The captions are ridiculous. Missing historical figures like Dr Martin Luther King & Coretta Scott, misnamed streets, cities and dates
What's with the "_s" I keep seeing?
The thumbnails for all these videos are awful. I know why they're made the way they are, but it's really unfortunate. It cheapens the actual content.
A potato cam made this video.
I grew up then. No Hispanics in any photos that I see. I never saw a Mexican until 20 years ago. Now they are Everywhere.
Democratic open-borders for 30 years will do that to a country.
Is it bad for you?
@@m.f.m.67 don't complain, your country men are now taking possession of Cancún, los cabos, Puerto Vallarta, san Miguel de Allende, Ajijic. México city, Guadalajara and Yucatan will be the next ones, your pension cannot afford to live at USA but México instead.
@@m.f.m.67and I bet you will be the next want who want to move to México.
I don't mind Good Folks who want to work, just leave the Street Gangs and hoodlums in Mexico. Just last week an American college girl was raped and murdered in Georgia on campus.
To long do not want long video so thumbs down and not watching them.
Chicks were Hot back then...but they wore Too much makeup, and they didn't "DO" it until they were at least engaged, married, or widowed.
Most racist country then
Nope, not at all
@@domenicv7962 explain.
@@domenicv7962 it wasn't a good idea for a mexican to live at southeastern states ( even today, perhaps)
@@gustavoperez5480 are you kidding?
@@gustavoperez5480 nope, cause no matter what I say it won't matter to you.
