I went to waldorf preschool to 8th grade and it’s the most wonderful experience of my life. I share it with everyone and I can recollect everything. My mom was a Waldorf kindergarten teacher and I wish everyone can have this childhood experience. I’m 28 this week and I still to this day discover things that I have learned in a deeper light as an adult.
I wish I could have gone to this kind of school as a child. I was thrust into violent public school as a highly sensitive person at age 8, after being homeschooled. It was awful. I was in and out of juvenile delinquent schools and public school my whole school life bc I hated school so much. It was so stressful for me. At 14 I was fighting other girls in class and people were regularly being carted away in abulances for overdosing on opiods. In highschool it was all about gangs and I was being offered gang bangs behind the bleachers. This looks like paradise in comparison.
I agree with you wholeheartedly! I was thrust into a violent public school where I suffered!! It shaped my entire life! I wish my parents put me in a school like this.
Same! My teachers were a bunch of Jerks(except 1 or 2). They would embarass me when I asked questions so I would stop. Then in parent teacher conferences say that I never ask questions and day dream all day. I feel like it was basically being around a bunch of bullies all day that hated their job and all the teachers just blamed the students. My first two sons attended public school and my 1 son had roughly the same experience. But because his dad and me were separated, he would never let me put him in homeschool. Now I'm homeschooling my other kids with my husband, and in the beginning it was daunting. But now I'm watching my daughter grow in writing, math and reading, a love for gardening. It's been very therapeutic and healing for me to redo for my children what I needed. It was like I had to tell myself, "You're allowed to love learning again." Since then, we've been busy working away, in a fulfilling and joyful way. The second she or I gets frustrated that's my signal that there's another way we can approach it. Learning how my child learns helps so much!
normal school : "lets do the problems in the back of the book on calculus" Waldorf school: lets knit some blankets in the shape of the calculus symbols
Many public schools aren't even teaching social studies or science anymore since it's not on state testing. If they do, it's very minimal. It's all reading, writing and math.
How interesting not boring learning influence child mind in way that in age 13-14 this kids can generate proper conclusion about relationship between electricity and magnetism - do you have more information about this dependence? Probably interesting learnig in young age causes different better brain development ???
I couldn't watch this video because of the annoyingly loud background music that was louder than the people speaking. You don't need background music when people are talking. It's so unnecessary and tacky.
@@LawalCraft2012 very bad. I work in a Waldorf school and am soon quitting as they are indoctrinating the youth. Any Waldorf proponent will deny this part of the schools.
Waldorf is about connecting with nature. That is not a religion or belief system. Religion or belief systems are man made phenomenon to control others so that you can hide your own insecurities. Nature has no religion or belief systems. The air you breathe or water you drink doesn't care about your nonsensical religions or belief systems. They treat everyone as just life (including animals, trees, insects etc) Nature only has sensible laws, which treats all life as equal, because in reality they are equal. All the divisions of religion, race, color, beliefs, gender etc are created by repetitive habits of insecure human minds. Anthroposophy and Waldorf systems focus on this natural truth of life.

You need to calm down. I wonder if your an 8 year old by looking at how you act and exaggerate. Stop joking around with depression also, cause there is no humor on that unless you are DIAGNOSED with depression and use humor to help you through it.

I still cherish and treasure the years of my life in Waldorf education and I want the same for my children
Jacksonville Florida has Seaside Charter Schools, which are FREE, public Waldorf schools. We are thrilled to be a part of the Seaside community!

Which grades do they offer?
@@Oshuin9 we have left the school. They were very liberal in their stances, practices, and lessons. I can no longer recommend them.
@@apomar1 whoa! Ok thank you for this update.
Lucky children, lucky parents who have the opportunity to be a part of this education..
Love the little padded legs on the chairs...good idea!

Same. This is a accurate representation of mine and lot of childrens school life. Alternate schools need to be more accessible ❤
This is lovely
it's a cult school

So grateful for the waldorf education system ❤
I love the idea of the younger kids enjoy out door
I work at a Montessori school I’m so interested in Waldorf
To get to the heart of Waldorf education, read the works of Rudolf Steiner
Hi! Did you switch to this Waldorf pedagogy? If so, which one do you prefer? TY!

Beautiful!❤️
walforf seems fun but my only issue with it is essentially every lesson divulges in to arts and crafts LOL.
What's the problem with that? That's is fostering the nature of a child
@@veronicagonzalez2346 not everything is arts an crafts. some things you need to just be able to do. like configure a SQL database
It actually helps children retain information easier

To understand Waldorf schools, you need to study anthroposophy, as it is the religion which underlies the curriculum.
Is this a good thing or a bad thing?
@@LawalCraft2012 very bad. I work in a Waldorf school and am soon quitting as they are indoctrinating the youth. Any Waldorf proponent will deny this part of the schools.
@@NOCXCIDE Yes, Anthroposophy is a religion. You can call it “spiritual science”, but it’s still a belief system.

Anthroposophy is more of a study of spirit and matter than a religion.
So its a way to intentionally stunt your childs growth. Neat
Kids learn without being drilled with book lessons. They learn in play naturally.
because normal education is not stunting the child's grownt?
