Hi ... I spent 7 months at Udom in northeast Thailand while in The USAF BACK IN 1972 ... After spending 5 months in DaNang Vietnam ...Thailand was like heven! The Thai people were talented trades people ... I was amazed. The Food was great and I lived on the fried rice and Kobe steaks! I did spend a weekend in Bangkok ... busiest city I ever saw... I shopped and had a cocktail at the ENDERA REGENT HOTEL [SPELLING?] ... LOVED THAILAND! Have fun!
Oh yeah, we absolutely adore food here, the variety is just insane! So far in Thailand we mostly done food related videos…haha, can’t wait to share 🤗❤️

This is bringing back memories of our trip to Thailand back in 2016. Went to Bangkok, Krabi and Koh Lanta. All of it beautiful and we loved every place we visited. And durian too! We lived in Singapore when we were little and this fruit was banned everywhere.

Durian in different applications like ice-cream is fantastic as well. You should be able to find durian ice-cream with sticky rice easily during this season.

Honestly I'm struggling with the idea of travelling somewhere with no rules to somewhere with outdoor masks... did you actually find it an enjoyable experience? Genuinely, would you recommend it?
Ohhh, it is a really tough question to be honest. It really depends on each person if they are okay with it or not. Wearing a mask in 40 degree heat will do more damage than anything I personally think. It’s advised to wear it outside and everyone does but apparently you won’t get a fine if you don’t wear it…something like that. We try and assess each place and do what locals do but we take them off outside when we start feeling uncomfortable with them on because sometimes it’s physically impossible. And it’s usually worse in the capitals and busy cities , hopefully it won’t be advised when we head back to Thailand 🤞🏻 However, unfortunately at the moment it’s kind of impossible for us to write off places where masks are being worn outside.
One of my favourite cities on earth. I hope you are paying for you flights with a credit card that gives you extra miles. You will be able to treat yourselves to a business class flight pretty soon. If not the Amex Gold Card is a good one to get, they give you 20,000 miles just for joining. Even thinking about Thailand makes my hungry, it's where I developed my noodle addiction.

@@MattandJulia Chenee variant is more stinky and bitter in taste. I like Mon Thong durian that is not overripe (too soft texture). It should be hard on the outside, but soft on the inside. I can tell the one you tried was too soft. Normally packed durian is overripe because the Durian seller want to get rid of it.

Do not choose durians that are overripe as their aroma is very strong. Sometimes even Thai people can't eat it.
