- One of the best things about (most) power adapters is that the part that connects to the wall is detachable, so you can exchange it for different countries. Knowing that, Apple has released this World Travel Adapter Kit, that contains the different adapters to connect your chargers anywhere in the world. However, since it does not include a power adapter in itself... Is it worth $30, or are you better off buying something else? In this video I will try to show you and help you make a decision on how to better spend your hard-earned money.

The diameter of the Korea, Brazil and EU adapters are slightly different.
You could probably get away with it if you're a for example a Brazilian visiting the EU but apple probably doesn't want to risk it and for $/€/£30-35 it's nice that apple includes it so the plug fits properly.

Yes. They do, you take off the prong adapter piece, and then put in the one for the country you visit on it. The adapters from Apple excluding the 5W (small cube), 20W (thick rectangle USB C), have interchangeable heads.

It's way overpriced. But if you are an apple fanboy then it's a must-have because it seemlessly work internationally.
I am not a fanboy so I will just get normal adaptor head that will work for all my devices lol

Agree this is a ripoff. Apple keep changing the "power source" for every model. I have the world adapter kit compatible with USB, which INCLUDED the so called power adapter. Now forced to use a newer iPad because Apple introduce new technology which cannot be operated from older units (built in obsolescence) New iPad has USB C, and does not come with the power adapter. This kit does NOT specify there is no "power adapter". A USB C "power adapter" actually costs 79.00 - twice the price for this kit with seven adapters for other electric currents in the world. If I bought that, I could use the original kit.
