After seeing this video I won't be buying one. The technology is great but the materials used in the build are cheap crap. This obsessing over thin and light is ridiculous if they are that delicate. They should be far more robust even if they were thicker and a bit heavier.

You clearly point out the damages in the drop tests. I would like to see some drop tests using cases to see which case is more protective. However, there may not be enough new cases yet for the 10.5.

Kasio dude, note 10.1 was my first tablet, I owned it from 2012 to 2014, it may be more durable but it's thick and heavy, also its performance doesn't compare to any ipad, tbh ios devices have an incredible speed, stability & a cleaner look

Anyways, good reference point for everyone crying about how easy it is to bend the new 3rd Gen iPad Pro when literally anything in these form factors will suffer the same fate when you don't take care of these things. Get a folio, keep it in a case, and don't like sit on it or somehow put it in your pocket lol.

my ipad pro 2017 fell of the table but it was in ESR case. It landed on back. I'm not sure if something from inside happened like a loose circuit. It works apparently fine but I'm worried that something from inside is impacted by the drop

I dreamed of myself doing time traveling and stuff like that back to 2009 and brought the iPhones 5s all the way to the 10 and he actually got super annoyed. He (in my dreams) told every single one of his employees to reinvent the 10 and call it a 4. Not only that, I told him to keep the price down and he agreed. Oh yes, about the notch and the stylus, he told the employees to make a mechanical hidden camera and waterproofed it.( Well,he added a full screened display) and for the Apple Pencil, he strictly told his employees on NOT to manufacture the stylus and NOT to kill the headphone jack. This is when I woke up.
