Thanks for posting this video bro, you just saved hella $$$$ on a tow. Left the keys about 30+ miles away. Thank you thank you THANK YOU! You are a life saver
You just need 12+ to the + side of the coil. Check for continuity from coil+ to pins on ignition switch plug (while switch unplugged). This should find you your ignition wire.
You can have all the accessories just by finding the other circuits you need to power them up and hot wire those as well, I’m about to attempt this on an 89 pickup , can’t find but don’t really want to change the steering column. A switch and a push button starter switch , uuuummmm hopefully, it should work in theory anyway. I was looking for some wiring diagrams so I could get an idea of what’s what but not much on here I can find, if anyone knows please share.
Hi, I'm a writer doing research for a script... would this work on a 1967 Mustang. And if so, do you have any technical terms for the parts that you were working on... I need my character to sound like she knows what she's doing. And I know nothing about cars except how to drive them :) Thanks.
I'm not sure if this will work on a Mustang in real life. But if you aren't really hotwiring a car, it shouldn't matter if it works or not. Put it in your script.
You didn't tell anybody about the wires with a paperclip what it leads do the coil or which ones you need to do that you just bingo bango the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard you have to have your coil wire you have to so ridiculous these guys jump a solenoid and call it hot-wiring a car all you're doing is spinning the starter unless you tell people what the other wires you connected relate to
Is that true u seem very helpful and I love your content. Don’t let trolls get too u there is always some know it all that knows nothing. He either got triggered or. Just another 40 year old still breastfed .. Thanks for video I have 74 ranger. Same issue but let’s gone. I bought some type cylinder at auto zone has three connections on back. I was gonna try to. HELL YES MY 12 YEAR OLD TRUCK BROTHERS
Or just use the solenoid
only downside with the solenoid tactic is if she stalls on the road, at least if you do it on the inside you can starter back up
Bingo bango
