I’m hearing you- you guys like the vegan recipes! :) Thumbs up if you want more! Here is a really fun recipe that only requires 3 ingredients as the base, but you can do SO much with it! The PDF download includes 4 other recipes to get your creative brain thinking! Which combo are you most excited to try?
+Mind Over Munch Cashews, flaked coconut and dried pineapple.....OH MY GOODNESS :)
+lyricann36 OMG! That would be a fantastic combo!!
can you do something without coconut?

They look like larabars. Thanks for the recipe!
Yummy, thank you for vegan recipes. love quick and easy too.
You make me so happy when you prepare vegan recipes. I use the same ingedients and add carob powder to make raw truffles. In Brazil prunes are easy to find and cheaper than other dried fruits such as dates and apricot. Thanks.

amaaaazing, I'm making these today! But I'll use dates, walnuts and the shredded coconut. I am starting to love these 3 ingredient recipes. They make my life easier

+goodi2shooz Yeah! Have fun with it and make it your own :)
Wow.. I would def. like to make this. Ive never eaten prunes before but will try. Love your hair Alyssia !!
+Tracy C awesome! Hope you enjoy!! :)
I've always used dates for this but this is a great idea! I'm going to try this!
+ItzaMeylin awesome! Dates are great with this too :)
I've made bars like this for ages and use Dates, not prunes. I also do not have a blender so I dice the dates into a bowl and SQUISH them into paste with my hands. This is the hard, but fun section.
+Richard Holtom lol! I love that it's fun :)
It is SO much fun. ;)
Vegan, few ingredients and easy to make? Perfect! Thank you for sharing! :)
+TheAccessoryGirl my pleasure!
The mint chocolate chip one sounds AMAZING. Definitely going to give it a try. I'm tempted to try making a pumpkin pie flavored one with pumpkin seeds, prunes, maple syrup, and maybe a bit of pumpkin puree and spices. Hmmm...
+Carley Doty that is such a great idea!! I might have to try that, too! :)
today i tried out this recipe and the energy bars taste sooo good!! *.* thanks for sharing!
+Pauline _ yay! So glad you liked them :) Thanks!

I made your recipes yesterday and they taste UH-MAZING! If you have tried nakd bars, it's very similar, but obviously cheaper, less processed and made with love. Thank you ever so much for posting this video, as always, very useful. ♥
+Vilija Leitanaite that's so awesome! Thank you for trying it out!!
I will be making this recipe as soon as I can get to the store.
just like my fave larabars! I'm going to add lots of spices for a gingerbread flavor or vanilla and chocolate ships for cookie dough!

+Sheila Irizarry yeah! I usually use dates in these types of recipes but the prunes honestly blended up way better!! :) Thank you, so glad you're enjoying the content!

+Mind Over Munch You too! ^_^
I'm loving all of these videos, especially the vegan ones! Can you please make a video about flavoring beans? I feel like my beans are always bland! As a new vegan, I want to master making yummy beans so I can have a good protein source!
+Isabel S Awesome! Great suggestion, thank you :)

+Nadia Jocelyn Thank you!! I appreciate it!

They look SO good Alyssia....Also, I love the Sunsweet brand:))
+Cheryl Hock Thank you Cheryl! I love them too :)
my favorite bars I make with dates, dried blueberries, cinnamon and lemon zest.
+Melly Bean awesome! Sounds delicious!
make something similar with dates Pecans and cacao
+alida hughes Yeah! I have a recipe in the PDF with pecans :)
These look easy enough. And so good! I would probably be saving money, too! I buy a box of Kashi bars every time I go to the store. Plus you are making more than the 6 bars that come in a box of energy bars at the store. I might try using mango or papaya for the coconut bars. That would be amazing!
+Nicole Richard Yes! When it comes to these types of energy bars it's definitely cheaper to make your own, and honestly I think tastier too AND you can be in control of those ingredients! mango would be so so good!!
Yassssss babyyyyyyyyy I'm loving the vegan recipes being raw is very difficult so I went vegan hahaha almost the same but I can put things in the oven and microwave lol
+Suzie boo lol! I feel you, I could do vegan but I don't think I could do raw!
im super excited about trying these out, because im still doing the no sugar challenge and have been DYING to eat some granola bars lol
+heaven R oh these would be perfect for the #nosugarchallenge!!!
I love prunes!! I always buy the dried mixed fruit, but then just end up eating all the prunes out first lol. I bet it's really good with the cashews, I think I might try this with some dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs instead of the coconut flakes :3
+sabresister Yeah!! That sounds delicious!
Thanks for these ideas, i will try every single one of them. But i'm mostly excited for coconut cashew, banana bread and chocolate chip without the mint ;)
+BeBeautifulBeYou yum!!! I hope you enjoy :) Thank you!
Those look delicious! I love all the variations you provided us with in the PDF. I was wondering though what are the nutrition stats in general for these bars?
+beautygirly624 Thank you! The stats for my recipe are available on my website, accounting for 1/2 cup coconut shreds :) mindovermunch.com/?portfolio=coconut-cashew-energy-bars
Sounds delicious I will try it
+Jinan Haddara :) Enjoy!
Love it! Looking for these types of snacks (bars). I'm thinking these could be wrapped in parchment and kept in fridge to keep them fresh? Tfs!
+MaggieLoveMTC Yes! That will be fine! :)
Yum! Love recipes that are under 5 ingredients 👍🏻
+MariahGlenn me too! :) Thanks!
Looks amazing! I wonder where I can get that kind of moist, dried fruit in Sweden. I love making energy bites usin chasews, coacoa-powder and dates. It tastes like candy!
+Sara Larsson YES! Those sound delicious!
They are! The recipe is basically the same as this but I add some coconut oil and a few tablespoons of cocoa powder, I also like to add a splash of cold coffee to really amp up the chocolaty goodness!
Love this idea! 😊 Thanks!
+Vava Ivanov awesome, thank you!
Sadly my little one is allergic to any nuts besides peanuts, so I'm rather limited to using those most of the time. However, I think that Banana Bread flavor could be adapted to use peanuts. May even soften/partially dehydrate some bananas to use in the base. Great ideas, as always! Thanks!
+Sarah S oh man! Peanuts would be good with these though I bet! dates and peanuts with cocoa powder could be like a "raw" snickers lol!
Oh that sounds fantastic!
mmm I've tried making these last summer except I rolled them into little balls and added mini chocolate chips! I would eat 1 or 2 at night and call it my "dessert". The banana idea from your pdf sound really yummy too! 🍌
+Mia Zangl that's a great idea!
I know the nuts give you protein, but what do we think about adding protein powder to this for a good post workout snack? would it bind it up too much?
+Rashida Brooks that would probably work! I'd add less add ins to start and sort of process it until you get a good texture :)
Mind Over Munch Thanks!!
I LOVE PRUNES!! I just realise I was saying "dry prunes"..... prunes are dry LOL the tales of learning a language.....
Anyway, I definitely will try this!!
+Virginia Russo LOL OMG I know, I used to do this too!!!
Those look really yum!
+FitAnge S thank you!!
a sincere taste lol! and who makes your jokes? 😂
I will be trying each of these. When I first went vegan it was the lack of cheese that got to me.....not so much now...but I am missing some sweet things aside from raw fruit. Thanks!
+Izzaboutchu! Yes! I didn't go vegan but I've been eliminating dairy and cheese is my favorite food. It's tough but gets better as it goes :) I still enjoy it occasionally.
LOVE THIS thanks for the video :)
+mayan “Mayangirl2012” girl My pleasure! Thank you!!
How long do they last? do you have to store them in the refrigerator?
thanks :)
Yeeeees love your vegan recipes so much
+charly1234 thank you!!
I love your vegan recipes
+Airin Cronau thank you!
I'm going to try to make this recipe with dried cherries: )
+Jessica Seldon omg that would be amazing!!
They look great! Is there any way to easily make them without a food processor? I really want to try them out. xx
+JamSlamish I haven't tried, a high powered blender would probably work!
Seen and made!! Thumb up!
Mmm, I definitely want to make those with dates, almonds, peanuts and maybe dark chocolate if I want :)
+P3acexL0veScr1be omg that sounds amazing! Like a healthified snickers!!
Love this!!!!
+Beatriz Cesar thank you!

+Jinan Haddara thank you!!
I love prunes just as much as these vegan videos and your jokes xD
+Emily Chan LOL thank you!!
I want to double like this, once for you being adorable (and puntastic), and again for the recipe.
+Erin Harrison-Smith lol!! That's amazing, thank you! So glad you like the recipe (and the puns) :)
Prunes... Any other type of dried fruit to use other than prunes? Lol don't they help with digestion too much?! Lol thanks Alyssia!!
+Olivia Arenas Sure! I note that you can use any dried fruit in the video and give some examples in the PDF download n the description :)
I have some extra dates hanging around, I'll make a variation of these with those!
+Marie O'Brien oh perfect!!
Other than a swig of prune juice I drank once as a teen (it was the only drink in someone's fridge), I'm super reluctant to have anything prune. I guess prunes have a stigma of diarrhea. So kinda scared to try it. Maybe I'll try the dates.
Omg banana bread yummy!!! Aly I wanna enter but I don't have fb or Twitter... Can I still join?
+alba nieves Thank you! I think Sunsweet is only hosting the content through FB and Twitter.
Please look into the camera! Distracting! Love your videos!!!
+Ronda Stern thank you!
I wanna make these!!! Love the jokes....you're so silly! :)
+Dawn Anama
Mix cashews and coconut and I'd probably eat it with my flip flops! When we started the #nosugarchallenge, I bought prunes and figs. I'm so clever....LoL. Love your jokes, thanks for the giggles! My back is still out and I was in "the pits" (prune joke), but I'm feeling better than I was, great distraction. LoL
+Cat Sieja LOL. That's so funny! Thank you so much for watching, I always look forward to your comments
Yes Alyssia it sounds plum good to me too!! Don't worry, I get ALL of your jokes and love ALL of them haha! This was fantastic... I mean plum-tastic! Hahaha okay I'm done thanks for the jokes Alyssia.
+Jade Green LOL! Thanks so much Jade!!
could you make a high protein snack bar that omits the following: wheat, soy, dairy, eggs, nuts, coconut, seafood, and bananas?
+S welch You could try this bar with sunflower seeds and use other add-ins. The PDF has some other recipe options, just sub the nuts for seeds :) Cheers
If you cook them thwy get stronger and last longers??? thanks!
This recipe wasn't designed to be cooked, they are delicious raw! :)
How long do they last?
alyssia I want to begin working out again but I find it hard after I had my baby and I don't even know where to begin which is strange because I used to be so fit do you have any tips on how I can start getting fit again and eating right
+Angelica Ysassi Congrats on the new baby! If you're just getting back into it, start small, don't overdo it! My advice to anyone is to find some sort of fitness you LOVE. Think about what you used to do before to be fit? What did you enjoy? If you like being outdoors, consider a walking routine and incorporate some light jogging as you work up to running. If you prefer the gym, consider fitness classes! There are all different formats so most people can find something there that they love :)
Sounds good but I am still not sold on which prunes to use.
You can use any for this recipe :)
living for the puns at the end 3
+Eleni Karnavas LOL I'm glad someone is :)
How many servings?
