yeah these players were fighting for the honor of their jersey and teammates, respect TO, emmitt smith, and george Teague for standing up for their teams
All I can say to Teague and the Cowboys: if you don't like people celebrating in your house, stop them from scoring in the first place. That's your job.
Brian Andrade the 49ers will blowout the Cowboys this season. 49er D-Line would hold Prescott to less than 100 yards throwing and the RB to less than 50 yards rushing. That’s normal for the 2019 SF Defense.
Pretty crazy that T.O. and Jerry Rice played on the same team for multiple years. To me, those two along with Randy Moss are the three greatest WRs to every play.
I remember being a young fan... SF was so bad I was shocked they won. They finished 6-10 I think I thought it was just normal what TO did having no real reference just a few seasons lol... looking back it was crazy. I still remember the team QB Garcia, WR Rice, FB Beasely, RB Garner, C Newberry this was one of my favorite set of guys on offense. if they could have kept Rickey waters through out the 90's I bet they win another superbowl but yeah it was a if hearst could have stayed healthy they could have gotten something in the late 90's early 2000s
Garrison Hearst was still recovering from a severe ACL tear he suffered nearly 2 years earlier in the 1998 NFC Divisional Playoffs vs. Atlanta, a game SF lost, 20-14. Hearst was injured I think on Niners 1st or 2nd drive and really didn't play very much at full strength until 2001 season. A season that Niners actually made the postseason again for the first time in 3 years, and Hearst won Comeback Player of the Year award, but by then the team's character, chemistry, smouldering on-and-off the field issues between Garcia and Owens and seemingly everyone else on this team had hurt this team's long-term potential success. I say this as a non-49ers neutral observer( I am a Saints fan) but there were clearly signs even in 2001 that Mariucci couldn't hold the team's fragile character together indefinitely. Rice's departure to Oakland after the 2000 season essentially morphed into a power struggle between Garcia and TO with Mooch having to act as referee increasingly to the point where tensions broke and Niners lost both TO and Garcia and spent nearly a decade trying to rebuild.
George Teague was not the only one who got ejected that day. Woodson was ejected also. That was one nasty game full of penalties, ejections, suspensions, and fines afterwards!
Rice had by far the most spectacular touchdown of the game and look how he celebrated. Says everything you need to know about the actual GOAT vs the man who thought he was the GOAT.

As a Cowboys fan, Parcells finally got us out of the dumpster when he took over in 2003. In his last season 2006, we were a Romo muffed snap away in the playoffs from beating Seattle who were the defending NFC champions. When Jerry stepped in and signed the headcase TO against the wishes of Parcells, anyone with a living brain cell knew Parcells would leave at the end of the year. 2007 was an incredible 13-3 year for the Cowboys and Wade Phillips, but we ran across the mighty Giants in the playoffs who also took out the undefeated Patriots in SB XLII.
I remember this 2000 49ers team well. They didn't start great, out 'the gate, but impressively enough they were on a late surge, winning streak that led them to an upbeat 6-10 season. Three Pro-Bowlers in Garcia, Owens, & Garner, along with improved cornerback play by both Ahmed Plummer & up n' coming Jason Webster, there was "looking forward to" in San Francisco later on...

He was told that before the game. But the Cowboys specially Emmitt Smith took it the wrong way which is understandable because and their perspective it looks that way and this is where coach Steve Mariucci and Terrell Owens relationship went downhill as he was suspended after this my Steve Mariucci and the relationship never recovered but Terrell Owens was playing like you was mad at Steve Mariucci which he was and he played outstanding
