I remember Jamal Lewis had an incredible season in 2003 when he rushed for 2,066 yards, making him one of the few players to join the 2,000-yard club. He also set a then-NFL record with 295 rushing yards in a single game against the Cleveland Browns🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈
Can’t believe they even have Shockey on here.. he was jimmy graham, before jimmy graham was a SS.. It’s like saying we’re going to forget jimmy graham in 10 years 😂😂
@@SM-bi7bidude, what are you on about?! Cmon now. You know Shockey was a monster. If you don’t like him, that’s cool. Lots of people didn’t. But you can’t deny his time with NY was legit.
A few good players that deserve mention in my opinion: Merton Hanks: Tim McDonald who they mention was good in San Francisco, but when I watch clips of the 90’s Niners on defense, I don’t see it thrown to Hanks’ side of the field very much. Made four all pro teams in the mid 90’s. Marques Colston: One of the best skill position players in recent decades to not make a pro bowl. Diron Talbert: According to unofficial sack stats, he has more sacks in his best eight seasons combined than Merlin Olsen and almost as many as Bob Lilly in his eight best seasons. Fred Dryer: Became an actor after playing of course, but also was a pretty good pass rusher. Had 103 sacks unofficially for the Giants and Rams, including 15 in a second team all pro season in 1974. Keith Lincoln and Paul Lowe: One of the great backfield tandems of the 1960’s. In particular on the AFL side.
LC Greenwood needs to be in the hall of fame. 6 pro bowls, 2 first team all pros, and 4 Super Bowl wins. If those don't get you in canton, then the hall of fame is a joke
I'd never heard of Larry Centers before - that's really interesting! I spend lots of time reading up about great players of yore and somehow he evaded my notice. This is why I love this channel and show
I've been doing a project where I catalog the most valuable player for each jersey number for each franchise. Have y'all honored Lemar Parrish yet? He made 8 Pro Bowls with Cincinnati and Washington in the 70s and I'd never heard of him until the other day
Mark Gastineau is sometimes overlooked despite his impressive career. He was a dominant force as a defensive end for the New York Jets. He was part of the famed "New York Sack Exchange," which also included Joe Klecko, Marty Lyons, and Abdul Salaam🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈
Everson Walls may not be as widely remembered as some other NFL legends, but his contributions to the game and his impressive career certainly deserve recognition. Being undrafted from Grambling State didn’t stop him from being a great player in the league. He was remembered for leading the NFL in interceptions 3 times and being selected to multiple Pro Bowls showcases his talent and skill. His Super Bowl win with the New York Giants is another highlight that shouldn't be overlooked🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈
Ravens fan.. The incredible thing about Jamal Lewis is that everyone KNEW that offense was going to run. The plan was to run run run and win 13-6. The passing offense was just supposed to not lose the game.
Good list! A few that no one talks about or remembers that stand out to me are Brent Jones Carnell Lake Priest Holmes Keith Jackson Michael Dean perry Jason gildon Jesse Tuggle
"These players aren't your hall of famers" *intro then shows (I believe) london fletcher, whom should definitely wind up in Canton* Also, karl mecklenberg should be in the HOF
Unfortunately it gets harder and harder to get into the Hall of Fame as your time post retirement goes by; only a couple senior inductees each year compared to 5-6 newer ones
As a DB in my youth, Everson Walls and Tim McDonald were my two favorite players back then. So cool they were both in some random video I was half paying attention to. Both could dominate a game. I was so happy they each won late-career Super Bowls. I got to meet Mr. Walls several times at Cowboys functions and still have a football signed by him.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again! This is the absolute best channel for NFL content!!! I love every upload, guys, and I look forward to every upload. There is nothing better than getting home from work and relaxing with one of your videos!! Please make more long form content with commentary! It's simply amazing. Nothing else compares with these types of videos! Great work as always!!
London Fletcher is one of the most underrated players of all time. Great numbers, never missed a game...200+ starts consecutive. How is this man not in the HOF. Crazy
These vids alone are enough to keep their careers alive forever, hopefully many of these players will be enshrined in the Hall of Fame within the next 15-20 years.
My grandfather met L.C Greenwood in line at tiny little market just outside Pittsburgh in the 90s. He said he was a very nice and also a very big man 😂
The problem with Isiah Robertson; is that most people will him for the defender that Earl Campbell gored with his helmet. Although Earl was pretty darn strong too.
Nnamdi Asomugha was on a hall of fame pace 💯
Maybe I'm too stuck in 15-20 years ago, but how has anyone forgotten Nnamdi Asomugha by now 😅
Absolutely not lol.
After moving around the league he was “exposed” as a (VERY good) system CB who was in the best position to succeed while with the Raiders
Nnamdi on Kroll show was Hall of fame worthy
@rochahouse4883 Oh yeah he's an actor now! I'd love to see him in larger roles
no true NFL fan will forget Greg Jennings putting the team on his back with a broken leg
Imagine sitting around a table with friends, some cold adult beverages and naming random impact players.
The best.
The best part of sports fandom: the Naming of Guys
I remember doing that with running backs and there's still more I forgot to mention
Michael Turner "The Burner" very underrated Running Back
Yes watch him vs Alabama in 2003 beat them in Tuscaloosa for northern Illinois a fascinating watch
Greg Jennings being forgotten nowadays makes me feel old.
He put the team on his back
*Cries in Sterling Sharpe*
Seriously I remember having him on fantasy teams

I'm glad this series is back 🙌
Jamal Lewis was a bulldozer of a running back. Very underrated
Ravens Legend! 🐦⬛
Lots of Madden 08 heroes in this series 😄 Shockey and Dallas Clark are definitely elite there
Same exact thought 😂 Clark with manning on the colts shockey with Eli

Joey Galloway very underrated player
Life is good when these episodes drop. Modern day NFL Films.
Shockey is the epitome of a tough tight end dude was a monster.
Wish he played for my team

Same here I was just about to type this!
thank goodness yall are still doing these specific videos... i love these 💯
As a bears fan I did not forget about Greg Jennings
My favorite series on the channel!
Pickens, Jeff Blake, and those handful of games from Boomer Esiason were the few bright spots for those Bungles teams.
My favorite videos on the channel. I love learning about players I’ve never heard of
Michael Turner is also known as “The Human Bowling Ball” and he was very elite for his escape-ability and plowing through defenders!
Of course we open today with the guy who tattooed the American flag on his bicep 😂 straight up Guile from Street Fighter
I love this series!
Put Steve Tasker in the Hall of Fame
I've been doing a project where I catalog the most valuable player for each jersey number for each franchise.
Have y'all honored Lemar Parrish yet? He made 8 Pro Bowls with Cincinnati and Washington in the 70s and I'd never heard of him until the other day
Robert Smith breakin everyone's ankles got damn
Jermey Shockey was insane, he’d pop off someone’s head just to gain a extra yard
Michael, the burner Turner is my favorite player of all time as the Falcons fan. I have several jerseys of him. He is awesome.
The legend Joe Flacco will be featured here one day! Joe Flacco is elite!
Still elite! Never overlooked!!!
If NFL Top 10 did defensive lines, I would suggest the Sack Exchange for a lower spot in the list.

Everson Walls deserves to be in the HOF. He was the best shutdown corner of the 80's.
Did y’all hear Bellichick give him praise on last week’s Manningcast? He was so enthusiastic they pretty much had to cut him off.
Larry Centers was always one of my favorite players as a kid.
Not having Henry Ellard on this list is a crime in itself #80 Rams
I think he might have been in an earlier video
I'm old so did forget a few of these guys were elite but the cards wr was one I forgot about.

NFL THROWBACK THROWING IT BACK YET AGAIN!
Correction - Shockey was traded to the Saints, for a 2nd and 5th round pick in the 2009 draft

TONY RICHARDSON MENTIONED 🎉 fullbacks are people too
When can we get more offensive linemen on here?
I wonder how many forgotten players in the NFL.
Greg Jennings put the team on his back
Tony Richardson was doin what Ricard is doin now for Henry
Yep former chief auburn tiger
Loved Jeremy shockey
NFL throwback been going crazy
That JT Smith kick return is incredible, the way the game slows down to a standstill for him when he’s in the middle of the defense is amazing

Best way to start off the show with Jeremy Shockey!!!! That first preseason game he played let the league know that the NY Giants got a keeper😌😌😌
The pass rushing duo of Trent Cole and Jason Babin was so much fun to watch back in the day
Jeremy Shockey didn't take his talents to New Orleans via Free Agency. He was traded.
These keep me alive. Thank you.
This series is so dope. Love these videos 👍💯
Larry Centers is a Tight End
No fullback
i have a name that could be added to this list, the name being Justin " cowboy" Smith member of the Bengal's and the 49ners
I think he was in one of the previous episodes! Smith was definitely top tier
One of several players they lost after 2014 or so when they fell apart mid decade
Definitely NEED a part 6

Greg Jennings with a broken freaking leg!!!😂😂😂
Thank you for posting this. I needed something good content to take my mind of things
Greg Jennings ifykyk

Everson Walls being a undrafted free agent, starting and having 11 picks is insane

how could you not put the broken leg clip in there for greg jennings or at least a team on his back reference lol
Northern Illinois legend Michael the burner turner makes me even more mad as packers fan that 2006 chargers didnt win championship lmao

Miss Jeremy Shockey. Grit and toughness at the tight end position
Tuff

Joey Gallaway still my fav WR of all time
The fact that Lynn Swann is in Canton and LC Greenwood is not is a joke.
