The management life is not easy. You’ve got pressure from above, pressure from below, pressure from customers, and everything comes down on your head one way or another. It can be very rewarding also. But moments like having to decide to cut someone is not a fun part.
My dad never fired anyone who worked at his home. He was a "Micheal Scott" type of manager. After his passing, I fired everyone except the driver. The house is now cleaner but the maid only comes 3 times a week instead of 5. The garden is actually producing vegetables and flowers as opposed to being barren under the previous gardener. All utility bills are way down, but this required some initial investment to get rid of the old/broken stuff. Old energy greedy fridges out. After 6 years, I finally discovered the room which always tripped an electric breaker when it rained. Overall, I have nothing good to say about my dad's management style. I hope he was a better manager in his bank job. ☹️

Cheesesteaks aren't ever done Mike's Way. That's exclusive to cold subs only. If you ask, they'll do it for you though!

Dude it’s a hot sub. Sometimes you have to chop it more for it to be the proper size! Take a chill pill Peter Cancro 😅

The grill gets stained. We scrap it constantly and do 2-3 deep cleans a day
