i like how the description of his leg armor was a gift of messmer as a kinda cruel joke or maybe just for fun since they were friends (his remembrance states they were friends and gaius was commander of Messmer men)

The most surprising bit for me is that Gaius doesn't exist. There's the boar, the boar armor, and the rider armor with no rider inside, Full Metal Alchemist style.
There’s probably meant to be some ugly frog lookin mf beneath that abomination of an armour set but he’s a random boss with barely any lore and no buildup so they couldn’t be bothered to give a face to some schmuck that gets killed almost as fast as he appears
The Fact Gaius has no Legs yet his armor set has a joke pair of pants made for him is absolute jokes and the kind of humor I enjoy from FromSoft
