👏👏
It's the man himself 😮
@@SgtStevePHI believe the correct parlance is "it's yersel!!"
they did say your name!
Folks, this is what happens when you say his name! 😅
I said your name!
I just looked up Joe Henry yesterday because of all his signs at WWE events, and then his theme song was stuck in my head all day. I played a full baseball game, went to the movies, and multiple other things with Joe Hendry in my head the whole time.
I believe in Joe Hendry.
Edit: Thanks for all likes that’s the most I’ve ever had
Same dog. I can't shake it. I'm believing hard now 😂
I had to check him out a few weeks ago. When he showed up in NXT in the Rumble.
Theme song has been in my head since. It's that and Tipsy on repeat! 😭😂
The song is the key. All of his songs are clever, but "Say his name, and he appears..."/ Gold.
Yeah it's honestly perfect
The perfect gimmick
The song and his goofy smile is what got me. 😂😂
He is like what LA Knight was last year but the most insane part is he did all of this not being employed by the WWE.
I mean his theme will for sure burn out at some point but in-ring promo wise, I think he could do it for a very long time
@@superbtake I think when he goes to wwe it will get altered so that people will catch on but I think the intro will be kept.
@@emmanuelgarcia619 has Sami Zayne, Seth Rollin, Jey Uso gimmick songs gotten stale? I wish wwe fans would get tired but wwe fans are mor0ns they love them. So it doesnt happen everytime i prove it with 3 songs and there is more
@@emmanuelgarcia619 at this point there is no need to watch RAW or Smackdown you can watch only the ppv you be up to date. I watch Today's Smackdown and nothing happen and when do they have so many ads. The only thaat would me excited for WWE if Joe Hendry comes to WWE and quickly beat Cody Rhodes making all the CodycryBabies mad.
@@dataphoenix8004 same with The Rock we know when he will drop "it doesn't matter" because we watched it over and over again but hey he's still popular
I've watched Joe grow from bingo halls to NXT and its so deserved. He's so funny and he can absolutely wrestle.
His come up is inspirational, he's one of the few people who actually went through with their new years resolution
I remember first seeing him in WCPW. When he turned heel and formed the Prestige and became the WCPW champion. i was really invested in him and the group.
I realized he was really taking off when my GF who only watches WWE stuff with me and doesnt really know outside stuff started randomly singing his song... He's made it, even the casuals know him
The power of memes!
I love this story 😂
I feel like he’s getting the LA Knight crowd boost rn..
Honestly their stories are very similar, he might follow the same arc
Joe's a better wrestler
Funny, they already crossed paths many years ago. Hendry has already made a song for him
That was Eli Drake
@@williammoralesiii2527 Nah not really.Knight is a solid worker, a brawler with showmanship in the age of workrate. He's unique.
First and foremost, Hendry isn't an overnight success. He reinvented himself and his gimmick of mocking his opponents with repurposed popular songs is a core factor of his current rise to success. However, behind all of the elements of the character is consistency and willingness to hustle. Few workers go to the length of effort that Hendry does in making his custom intro songs for his opponents.
Because of what you could say is his "library" of intro songs, people can, and have, sought out Hendry's prior work after his viral exposure. If he didn't put in all the work, he wouldn't have taken off like he has in the last year or so.
Yup, mentioned all that in the video
Of course the guy has a Masters in Business and Marketing. The Bloke looks like the kinda guy that would try to sell some youtube short financial course.
😭💀
Nailed it.
Except He wouldn't have to try. It would just happen.
Thankyou for this, not watched wrestling in like a decade and his name along with Josh Alexander and Mike Bailey keep coming up.
Very charismatic and with that whole digital media title angle with the wretched critic help bridge the gap between tna and the smarks (never really understood why the smarks hated tna with such a vengeance when it offered an alternative to pg wwe)
Every once in a while, a talent comes along at just the right time with just the right persona. Joe Hendry is that guy.
I can’t stop listening to his song or get it out of my head since that NXT clip kept getting on my feed.
Joe Hendry's gimmick makes me tune in to watch TNA.
I knew about Joe Hendry well over 10 years since days in WCPW (What Culture Pro Wrestling) when he used his "Our Hero" entrance theme. He's very underrated and multi-talented. It's great to see that he actually receive his flowers worldwide.
A friend of mine who isn't into wrestling and knows pretty much nothing about wrestling apart from the fact that I watch it messaged me the other day.
The message was, "Do you believe in Joe Hendry?"
How did he know the meme? 😂
👏🏻👏🏻
I just have so much respect for this man's graft. He's on the verge of international stardom (within our wrestling bubble) yet he's still doing UK indy shows and helping build the brand. Was cool to see him in Wolverhampton this past weekend. Even the placement of his merch table - right next to the exit where everyone has to pass him. Man's got his head screwed on, and is a lovely fella too. Can't wait for him to make it in WWE
He’s in wwe lol
Honestly the idea of working backwards from the question "why would I [or anyone else] pick me in a video game or toy shelf" is genius. That and knowing how to play social media & meme culture to his advantage to get himself over.
His strategy to get himself over is so smart! I wonder if more people will try replicate it
🎶 Can you pleeease get fiiiired!…cause iiits happened twice beeefore! 🎵 haha I actually missed that one 😂
Someone needs to get AJ Francis a tube of burn ointment.
Joe Hendry simply IS. Why would anybody bother to question it? Just believe.
#IbelieveinJoeHendry
seems like one day went "this is funny, lets see how far we can take this meme" and here we are.
True it does feel that way
Joe Hendry has shown what can happen if you put in the work, he's earned this
we need royal rumble appearence
Yes, million times yes
The place would go insane
Joe Hendry is the Trey Parker/Matt Stone (of South Park) of wrestling: someone/people who’s entire background and interest is music and music theory, but goes into another medium to express their passion/talent…and it ends up getting over BIG. 🙂
I got an ICW video of his entrances recommended to me on UA-cam, then fell in love with his theme song. Since then I believe in Joe Hendry. Still haven't even seen him wrestle though, lol.
I believe in Joe Hendry
I do too!
The cheesy smile with the theme song is what got me with this guy. lol
The Chemistry between AJ Francis and Hendry really help , got people tuned in , the lead up to his live in ring concert and it was all she wrote from there
Yup, top dolla helped quite a bit
The first time I seen him was years ago in WCPW (Defiant Wrestling). He was the leader of a faction called the Prestige.
Do you think WWE will sign him?
If They Believe, They Will
I DO
They absolutely will. They'd be stupid not to offer him a massive contract the moment they get the chance
I think WWE won’t even wait for his contract is up. They’ll straight up buy his contract from TNA for a considerable sum, which is a win for all involved because I think TNA could end up being a minor league Wrestling Promotion that is separate from NXT that works to feed roster talent into WWE while still staying independent. It’ll be like a Pro-Baseball thing where top TNA Stars get born then WWE buys them up and funds TNA’s activities.
I wanna see wherever he is, but wwe has 2 packed shows, he might not be able to work with that
Shoutout Kickin it with Ross. He sent me to this banger of a video.
Shoutout Ross!
Been a fan of the Local Hero as far back as the WCPW days. So proud to see where he is now.
I knew Joe Henry would be a star when I first saw him in what culture wrestling UA-cam channel. He had great charisma
Really good video. I didn't know much about JH so this was very useful.
Glad you liked it!
Awesome video.... Wish you had talked about that Iconic music video / the spoofs for each wrestler a little bit more.
The Music videos are so damn catchy.
But none-the-less great video.
10 year overnight sensation
After listening to his recent interview he is wicked smart and his latest “Say his name” along with going blonde has been amazingly good.
100%
Man did Memes and it works, cause now "I believe in Joe Hendry!"
The power of memes shouldn't be underestimated
Awesome video, editing is great
Glad you enjoyed it!
I grew up watching Joe Hendry from the very start of his ICW run - as a British wrestling fan looking at the wider world of the sport, he really IS the Local Hero! Without the WCPW Legends like himself, Will Ospreay, Martin Kirby etc., British Wrestling wouldn't have thrived as much in the late 2010s, and CERTAINLY wouldn't have made a comeback after the NXTUK purge and Lockdown. The Post-Revival era of BritWres is on, and it's down to guys like Joe Hendry!
You've seen him, you've heard him, is this a serious question, how could he not!
You know why Joe Hendry has become so popular?
Because, we believe
Hendry has something that most guys don't have Charisma, something you have or don't but more than that he is an actual musician something most wrestler's can't incorporate at all. His decent size and good look helps too
Interesting video! Never known that Hendry acutally started traing in his mid 20s, which is pretty late for a professional wrestler. The fact that he finisished his studies first is awesome I think Hendry is a good package for the wrestling-industry. Clever guy, marketing-skills, good humour, good combination of charisma and developing in-ring-skills. And he can sing and play the guitar pretty well. Ah, and he's cute. 😀
Glad you enjoyed! His story is pretty interesting, he's probably one of the most unique wrestlers out there
Joe Hendry is the weird Al yankovic of wrestling and it's awesome
Great inspirational story! Makes me want to keep fighting and work hard in life!
I saw him in Philly last night, and he absolutely connects with the crowd and puts on a great match.
What show did you go to?
@@superbtake TNA did 2 nights in Philly. I saw him and Jordynne Grace, also got their shirts and autographed pics. Super nice people. Joe may need a little time to get there, but he's going to make it to the WWE roster eventually. Jordynne could be on the roster tomorrow and fit in just fine.
I Believe in Joe Henry since his videos on WhatCulture
Reminds me of "Adam Cole BAYBAY". Built for heel heat, but got over as face energy
At first I was worried he would be a meme or just a theme song but he is clearly far more. Sky is the limit for him.
Great video, man!
Glad you liked it!
I've been watching TNA for a while now and Joe Hendry has just been one of the most consistantly best things in the show. And his parodies have a lasting effect. He made a video on Matt Cardona (who was teaming with Brain Myers then) where he called him "Edge's bitch" a long time ago and a recent episode of TNA had fans shouting Edge's bitch to Myers whilst he was trying to cut a promo (as a heel, of course).
Joe Hendry has captivated the entire TNA fanbase and we could not be any happier for it. I know it's inevitable that he'll go to WWE at some point, which he deserves but I just hope we keep for a little bit longer. Because WE BELIEVE!
When do you think he got over in TNA?
@@superbtake Honestly, my memory is kinda frazzled but I think it was pretty soon after he debuted. Some were speculating that he was supposed to be a heel in the beginning but plans changed once we all fell in love.
I’m a wrestling fan but only casually into what’s current. I believe in Joe Hendry.
His song actually tells the crowd what to do, say his name, clap you hands, wave your hands from side to side. Someone seeing it for the first time can figure it out pretty quickly.
Great video sir!
Thank you!
Wrestling's answer to Rickrolling
I BELIEVE
Honestly if they had him fues with LA Knight I think they could level each other up. That could be gold.
Yeah that'd be a great feud but we're probably 1-2 years from that
The prestige theme music is in my playlist. Best theme music
Great video brother!
Thank you!
Good vid dude
Glad you enjoyed!
I believe 🙏 in a future feud with Eric Young ❤
He was also a Rosebud a few times on RAW back in 2014.
I didn't know that! How many well-known wrestlers started out as rose-buds? 😂
I Believe. Hes perfect for NXT.
Raw to be honest
Can't wait for the Def Rebel remix of his entrance theme
I don't think they'll touch it tbh, it's essential for his character
He's literally the reason I got into TNA
A chef I work with thanked me for spotting a potentially disastrous fridge failure late on. My reply was "Say his name & he appears..."
Say his name and he appears
I believe in Joe Hendry 👏👏
I believe Joe will be in The WWE eventually.
He's already here but I guess you mean main roster
Do YOU believe in Joe Hendry?
SAY HIS NAME AND HE APPEARS! I BELIEVE IN JOE HENDRY!!! *clap *clap I BELIEVE IN JOE HENDRY!!!
I got 3 words for ya
Joe
Hen
Dree
Y E A H !
When WWE in Vince era i dont know why WWE didnt sign him when Joe Hendry is a free agent and his character singer wrestler fit their PG rules.i am glad TNA sign him make him known in the world now TNA+NXT i knew it they notice&wanted him and Jordyn Grace in WWE
I believe in Joe Hendry!
he made himself popular.
taking it back to wcpw is insane
The billboard was clever too.
Royal Rumble debut will pop the roof.
Im glad i found this video. I couldnt help but ask myself. Why is this guy who looks like Andrew from Jstu on my well TV(not literally everything is digital on the internet now)
I hope he can live upto the song.. Because once you're sick of that then
He's still a local hero to me, dammit!
Soon he'll be a international hero
@superbtake - NEVER, once he appears on the main roster, his short comings will be exposed. You nxt fans do not know how to pick out major stars. You all said the same thing about a certain nxt star last year. This man is the next big star, a future world champion, blah blah - By the way, how well is that (so called) star Cameron Grimes doing these days. Joke Hendry will suffer the same fate.
Honestly. His appearance in NXT helped his popularity massively.
For sure
How did you not mention his music as being quite possibly the biggest, or at least 2nd biggest reason that he got so popular?!??
He's got a good theme song for an average Joe.
Just a tip, put your script on to of the camera so you don’t need to look to the side.
I'll keep that in mind for the next video!
His entrance is massive meme potential
Him and L.A Knight, would be a good feud and make a very good mid card! If they have a good writer, they can have a real good storyline to elevate both of them
Happened in tna when he was eli drake
I believe in joe hendry
I think his match with Simon Miller helped a fair bit, like Whatculture is still a major channel and Simon Miller is that company. That might just be because that is how I found out who he is
I remember first seeing him through whatculture as well
@@superbtake I am referring to their TNA match near the end of 2023 at the UK PPV they did
Oh I didn't catch that, what was the ppv called?
@@superbtake Turning point 2023
I believe in subbing to your channel! 🎉
He has ✨Kenergy✨
Is that a barbie reference? 😂
It's called the TNA Knockouts Title, not the TNA Women's Title.
I caught that while editing but I forgot to correct myself, I like the knockouts name
@@superbtake same.
I didn't know who he was, but I like him. I don't know why! But I do! Lol
It's probably because you believe... and the song 😂
I first saw him in 2016 doing WCPW, where the first big fued of the promotion was Him vs Big Damo (Killian Dane in WWE)
6:15 that’s wild
Because we believe
How does this channel have less than 2k subs??
We'll get there soon! I appreciate the support
I've been a believer since 2014
WE BELIEVE WE BELIEVE !!!!
10:50 "10 Years Later" 💀
Earlier** 😂
Wish it was me.
1:16 I was just about to type that and then you said it
We're in sync 👀
There’s 100% chance that he will be in this year’s Royal Rumble
LA Knight mix with Bobby Rude
That's an interesting comp
