Thank you for the great message to remind us that we may be failing to see the entire picture of ourselves because of varying degrees of shortcomings, so to speak. I think that's important for everyone to keep in mind. Also, I hope the guitar journey is getting better for you!
Never let your hands define who you are. You would still be beautiful even with no hands. I also only have nine fingers, but can do more than most can do with ten! ❤
This is known as body integrity disorder, where the person feels like a particular limb or body part doesn't belong to them. They may have a healthy arm or leg that they don't feel is right for their body and want to have amputated. For some patients, keeping the limb they don't identify with causes intense emotional pain as it is seen almost like a parasite or virus and the mind wants to get rid of it.
that reminds me of trans people and how they think. It seems both are related in a way, I just wonder what in the brain makes them think that about a specific part of them and if it’s from the same place as trans people. Very interesting!
@@rat-chan Its probably neurological. The brain doesnt connect with it, like 'ah this is my arm'. Neurologically there is no arm. Something like that. So I can imagine it feels very weird to have that arm, for example.
Hi. Hope all is well. My perception of you is that you are sweet, loyal, funny, adventurous, charismatic, a muñeca, and surprisingly shy. I'm rooting for you. Stay safe, stay healthy, and stay happy! Pops
Spare body parts are incinerated for sanitation reasons. Also you aren't allow to have them mostly so people don't prank others or if lost somewhere and found might start a murder investigation. I agree you are more than just the look or function of your hands. There are other considerations such as your personality, artistic or musical abilities, humor, and voice characteristics or how you use your eyes or facial movements. There are dozens and dozens of different factors that people find interesting or attractive to profile or sometimes refer to as chemistry.
I am ancient, lol, almost did not watch cause I misunderstood, language barrier, is what it is I suppose, may I ask type of music you play? An elder, native, l play Jazz, or used to, and a painter, anyway, thanks for sharing your story,

Ive seen a few girls with missing fingers, one of them only had a thumb. I think its cool and unique when she doesnt hide it.

I got half of two toes gone from almost dying. It just makes you even more unique. I think its cool
Wow! What happened? It sure creates a personality haha 😎
I too lost 7 fingers due to accident mow i am having only 3 fingers left
So why did you cut off your finger? What was wrong with it?
The finger was too close to the bone, so everytime I touch something the skin broke and blood was everywhere
Just know, your not defined by body parts, thx for sharing,
