Wish there were more open-minded people like you in this world. A lot of closed minded people prefer to believe and just accept the propaganda and lies from media and governments as fact, rather than use their own eyes and inform their own opinion.
We can and should, but individual waste reduction is always going to be a drop in the bucket compared to the scale and quality of change in industrial processes, which are less tied to consumer habits that we'd expect.
After spending many years visiting China for business Shanghai ghanzhou etc I always left amazed and exhilarated and thought that we were a left behind in Australia. The buildings the transport the infa structure the trains were far superior to those of my own country the beauty of the landscape. We’re certainly given a false impression and most don’t realise the beauty and just how advanced they really are. Lovely people too ambitious bright family oriented Enjoying your travels. Most foreigners don't know that Chongqing boasts the most comprehensive industrial system in China (over 200+ industrial sectors), producing almost everything from firecrackers to nuclear reactors. By the way, Chongqing is the largest laptop producer in the world, producing half of the world's laptop computers.

I'm a BMW rider, and I rode a 1250GSA from Shandong to Xizang in 2020, about 12000km round. and I have a local Italian rider friend here in Qingdao, he had done some really long bike trips too. if you want to ride a motorcycle for touring, it can be done, the license situation is the same with car license, and there are some shops you can rent a bike. but the regulation for motorbikes in China is kind of complex, different provinces and cities have some differences, if you want to do some long distance trip, best find some local rider to plan the trip for you.

One thing that has impressed me a lot about you in your videos is that you never mention religion (thanks) but do express a deep depth of spiritual respect when visiting certain places. I noticed it particularly when you visited Varanasi. This is a place most Americans/Westerners find repugnant. When I returned from my 1996 travels in India, most people I know were shocked and repelled by my stories. Thanks for getting back in the saddle and allowing us now grounded folks a chance to travel vicariously through you. Also, while Chongqing was a large city when I visited in late 2003, the quays along the river weren't developed yet and the entire embankment was blocks of stone stacked up to the top of the banks higher up, and skinny porters had to haul all goods ashore from ships. Those buildings and bridges weren't there yet, but of course that temple was and like most days along the Yangtse, it was cloudy and even a little drizzly.

My partner and I also visited China for the first time during our summer holiday break this year and we absolutely adore it. People were friendly and we love the Buddhist temples and museums (plus the beautiful lake in Hangzhou) very much! So full of history and culture!

Thousands Chongqing motorcyclist volunteers rode their own powerful motorcycle carrying the extinguish materials and fire fighters rushing into the fires spot in forest on mountain.
It's came out spectacular scenery at night. The mountain wild fire was red color where tailed thousands white color head light of motorcycles from the mountain bottom to the middle of the mountain.
