I am a Chinese and have been living in Europe and the US over a decade. Frankly speaking, China is the only country that treats all religions equally. US for example claims that they have religious freedom, but remember the US presidents oath by putting their hands on the Christian bible. Yes, you can practice Islam, Sikh, Buddhism and all other religions in the US, but it is impossible to ask for equality with Christianity, so as other countries that have national religion or similar traditions. China has a non-religious government. The government doesn't want any religions to influence politics, therefore, religious groups are limited in politics. But on the other hand, all religions are equal. No single religion is superior to others.
Hi brother, I am curious about the Uyghur people, do they really get kidnapped & tortured as shown in the social media & news? The reason is because even the muslim channel & news also reported the tragedy. Please answer me I really wanted the first hand answer. Thank you!
Muslim streets, mosques and restaurants are all over Beijing, not only within the downtown districts. Muslim is a big part of Beijing’s history and culture, and every Beijinger knows and feels that.

I visited Hohhot in Inner Mongolia . There are a lot of Muslim there and there are awesome mosques there, not only in Beijing . Most Chinese do not care so much about religion , but you can choose your religion as you like. The Western journalists should visit and see first hand the situation , not just hear say. What is ban is of course Terrorism, not matter if you are buddhist, Christian or Muslim
Welcome to my hometown! I'm so thankful that you spoke the truth about religion. ❤In Inner Mongolia we have a lot of types of religions, Like Mongols, Manchus, Hui, etc. 😊
you should know better than to believe stuff you hear and see in western media. like the tank picture you posted of tiananmen, that was when they were leaving after everything was over but was portrayed as a brave guy trying to stop them from entering. there is also an article by richard roth of cbs news titled there was no massacre in tiananmen square. he was there at the time but felt pressured to go along with the set narrative. only 20 years after the fact I guess he decided to write his peace. and then all the bs you will hear about xinjiang. a lot of these folks are probably on the payroll of you know who with a similar game plan as they have done all over the world including many countries in the middle east.

The Chinese Foreign Minister and the Spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry have both voiced support for Lebanon (whom had just had 500 casualties as a result of Israeli airstrikes) and Gaza. However, Western Media claims that China is Islamophobic which is just hilarious. I'm not even a supporter of China by the way, I'm Malaysian, we have enough concerns about their activity in the South China Sea. But the Hypocrisy of the West is oustranding.
The south China sea wasn't claimed by Malaysia until China was conquered by 8 nations during the Opium war. Basically China have ownership throughout the south China sea until their downfall, which is why the Southeast Asian nations rush to claim territories, ending up in internal disputes.
@@aldenteh9412 It's ok, man. Don't worry about your safety. the South China Sea is also part of Western propaganda. All of China's actions are for self-defense. Think about when China has ever acted without being provoked, never.
As a fellow Malaysian, I really want to know what is your stand or view from the Malaysian-Chinese community's prespective in regard to the West (lead by the US) vs China? Which one is preferred as our alliance?
@@wannaim6958 Well Malaysia is in a peculiar position in the sense that the US is our largest investor and China is our largest trading partner. We are put in a position where we have to kiss both asses, a loss of one relationship in favor of the other could result in an over dependency of our economy or a downfall of the economy entirely. I'm a Malaysian Chinese but at the end of the day if I were to go to China, I go in with a Malaysian passport. If I were to work there I need a work visa, if I were to study there I need a student's visa. So at the end of the day I'm not Chinese but a Malaysian. Other Chinese may not have the same perspective; and as such, may hold a bias when in comes to this matter, but this is how I see things: If we were to say that only one of the partnership/relationship could be fostered as a form of thought experiment then we would have to pick which country will benefit Malaysia's economy as of now. From what I can see, China is ramping up investments in Malaysia, creating a significant amount of jobs for our people and Chinese companies seem more willing to invest. As an example, Geely was willing to buy over a dying company in Proton and BYD has invested in plants and a large number of dealerships in Malaysia. We were also recently inducted into BRICS with the help of China; thereby, creating economic opportunities for Malaysia. With these factors, along with the fact that China is our largest trading partner at the end of the day would make it seem that; at face value, China would be the choice for a stronger strategic and economical partnership. However, doing so will lead to an over dependency of our economy. This is further compounded by the fact that Trump was just elected yesterday, and clearly his policies are America first e.g. forcing companies to move back to the USA or further taxing imports into the country. But ultimately, Malaysia has to play both sides. Malaysia relies a lot on the production of Electrical Components and Semi Conductors for its GDP. A large number of US companies have their plants based in Malaysia. Entirely leaning on China will just create a rift which would severely impact this industry.

I'm glad you went to the supermarket! It's so interesting to see all the pastries that only Hui people make, religion-related things that people use, etc. I really like going to Niujie even though I'm not Muslim because the food is great, it lets me experience a special part of Chinese culture, and the people are really friendly. Actually, Hui Muslim restaurants are my go-to when I'm in an unfamiliar location in China because you can be confident in the hygiene/cleanliness and you know the owners will be trustworthy and not overcharge you. It used to be common for Muslims to refer to themselves as "qingzhen ren" -- pure and true people. They really do live up to that.
Hadrat Sa'ad Ibn Abi Waqqas, a companion of the Prophet (ra) is buried in China. His tomb is in Guangzhou. My father and uncle visited China some 7 years ago and they said the tomb is in a beautiful lush garden. Islam in China is essentially as old as Islam itself. The nonsense we are fed here in the West about China and Muslims is just that, utter nonsense. I can't wait to visit China one day.
I am a Beijing guy, and leaving that 牛街 area about 40 years. That mosque building by the 400 years before. After the Qing dynasty, the Muslim have a big help for the qing Empire. So the Emperor permits they that area, in Beijing that big honor! We Chinese leaving with Muslim people for more than 800 years! Sometimes We had problems with Muslim, but we all ways find the way to work together
So based on this, China has freedom of religion. As long as religious jobs is spread peace and not being extreme. China did good job to weed out all kinds of religious extremism and promote harmony. Good Job China. Keep going friends in USA.
@@cart172 There are always extremists in religion. Buddhist monks from my country killed Bangladeshi refugees. Most countries run by Christians have a history of genocide. Judaism with Israeli and Palestinian conflict. Hinduism probably has some type of genocide towards the Muslims during the Pakistan and India split. Every religion has extremists. They die for their religious bullshit. I'm a former Buddhist monk, but it doesn't mean I have a strong desire to kill people because they're not Buddhists. Religion isn't bad, people choose to do idiotic things throughout history.
Tip: The number of mosques in China is more than ten times that of the United States, and even more than Europe and the United States combined. The Uyghur population in China has grown by 2 million in 15 years, so oppression refers to a large number of mosques and population growth.. Do you think this is oppression?
Palestines population has also grown despite them being victims of ethnic cleansing for over 70 years no genocide scholar would say a increase in population means no genocide is happening

China was one of the first countries where Muslims settled. The links between China and West Asia are ancient. A thousand year old mosques are in China.
Zheng He ,The most admired and influencial admiral in Chinese history was Muslim and many of his thousands of sailors. They helped spread Islam around SE ASia during Ming Dynasty

So why do they move to Western countries? Go to China

I come from Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, a special administrative region of China, where the Hui people live. The Hui people believe in Islam. There are many mosques here, and every school will provide halal food for Muslims to choose from
Greetings brother.
We have many Hui Muslims in Kyrgyzstan.
Also called Dungan.

I been 4 of the cities including Beijing. Found plenty of Halal restaurants and Masjid. You must visit Kunming. They have 5 Masjids in downtown area.
Ones who really want to know about China under all those West-made rumors, would book a ticket and get there to find out, and those who don't, remain on internet trolling for nothing.
Good video!
Rumors from far-right, born-again Christian Adrian Zenz or Washington Times Zionist Bill Gertz or Republican US Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri. Now all three has never been to China let alone Xinjiang. But they swear on their mother's grave, Muslim are being prosecuted there.
The world second Mosque was built in China, it was built in 691 AD and is still there
Wow, thank for the information.
Huaisheng Mosque, old Chinese Muslim manuscripts say the mosque was built in 627.
No way thats the 2nd oldest, surely arabia would have more than 2 mosques before islam spread to china

Thousands of western journalists have already been to Chy!na..... and they ALL had to write stories that dem0n!ze Chy!na in order to keep their jobs.

you should know better than to believe stuff you hear and see in western media. like the tank picture you posted of tiananmen, that was when they were leaving after everything was over but was portrayed as a brave guy trying to stop them from entering. there is also an article by richard roth of cbs news titled there was no massacre in tiananmen square. he was there at the time but felt pressured to go along with the set narrative. only 20 years after the fact I guess he decided to write his peace. and then all the bs you will hear about xinjiang. a lot of these folks are probably on the payroll of you know who with a similar game plan as they have done all over the world including many countries in the middle east.
Richard Roth is a coward.

Maybe you should use the conversation feature on Google Translate next time if you have data or wifi, it's pretty good for translating conversations (as the name suggests).
Other Chinese may not have the same perspective; and as such, may hold a bias when in comes to this matter, but this is how I see things:
If we were to say that only one of the partnership/relationship could be fostered as a form of thought experiment then we would have to pick which country will benefit Malaysia's economy as of now.
@@bryanchan8888 Thanks bro for your thoughtful insights. Guess what? I read your comments, line by line!
