Brake axis is the control you need to change... And to do so you need to push the pedal on you wheel after you click on the "Brake axis" control where it says "Joy Accelerator"... It is all there 03:21... So click on Brake axis control and push you brake pedal on the wheel itself. Hope this helps...
Just found out what was the problem by screwing around with options..... i previously set the steering left and steering right key bindings as right and left turning of the wheel respectively but i just changed them back to the ones i used with the keyboard ( A and D on keyboard) and it's fixed the steering is perfect now, hope this help you !!
Sometimes my wheel gets in that kind of position, but i have a problem with the wheel losing calibration. I solved the problem by unpluging the usb cable and pluging it back in my pc. Hope it helps, doesnt cost anything if you try...

idk if anyone is still here but when i turn my wheel 90 degrees the ingame wheel only turns a little bit and when i almost do a full 900 degree rotation is suddenly goes really fast and matches with my wheel. I have both my game and my profiler and 900 degrees and i even did 767 degrees and it has the same issue

Guys, try to remap all the controls again. That mean's that you need to reselect all the buttons again, and also unplug and plug in your wheel from your PC. There is a bug about that 90 deg but I haven't find what causes it.

So i installed the software on the disc that came with the driving force Gt and set my wheel to 900 degrees, but my truck wheels seem to lock when i turn my controller at about 180 degrees so i can't turn corners in cities not even gonna mention very tight corner;;;;; it's kinda like my truck slide when the wheels lock on a turn i dont know if you understand what im trying to explain lol

I'd beg to differ. My brother learned how to drive exclusively from simulators with a wheel, he never practiced in real life and succeeded on his practical exam.
Try downloading the Logitech software for your wheel (or whatever brand it is). I've heard that that can fix the problem, especially if your wheel needs driver updates and whatnot.
Your english is good, do you know the problem where the wheel turns too much. I turn a little on the driving force gt and the wheel on screen turns halfway.
You need to set the degrees of rotation in the logitech profile, to 776 so that when you turn your wheel, it turns the same amount as the wheel in the game.

Kevin Kulberg right click on desktop, nvidia panel, manage 3d settings. You can try from the global configuration or in the specific program to not have problem in other games. Sorry for my bad English
can anyone help me my game was slightly fine except i wanted my 900 degrees steering back so i changed it back to 900 from 200 and since then i get lag and freezing game. is there anyway i can keep the 900 degrees steering rotation and change something else and stop it from lagging?
Hi! I have tried your setup, but it will still not work properly. The probem comes when i shall turn the wheel around. When i have turned it a 3/4 of a round, the Wheel in the truck turnes full around. What am i doing wrong ? I have changed the set up in Logitech profil, so the rotation is now 900 degrees, and the game can not change the setup.
there is a check box in the Global Device Settings in your Logitech profiler... it is Allow Game to Adjust Settings... that needs to be checked.. see that maybe it is unchecked!

Bob Probert in windows, find game controllers in controll panel, open driving force gt (with it connected) click properties, then settings and set the degrees of rotation to 900, and for the rpms, make sure that the brake and accelerator pedals are both mapped properly in the keys and buttons option in the actual game. Retarder is a truck part that makes truck come downhill fully loaded easily.... That is when you go down on the hill you press the retarder couple of times and you will feel it... It has 3 od 4 degrees so it dependes of how steep the hill is... Just try it in the game and you will know what it does and what it is... Good luck
My dear friend, that is the reason I made this video. Please check 03:00 min of the video and set your gaming wheel as I did. The brake and acceleration pedal are set as one. So you need to set your brake pedal by clicking to change and pressing you pedal on you gaming wheel. And the problem solved...

My logitech is making a lot of noise when i turn engine force feedback on..

You have to set your wheel to 900 degrees, to do that you have to downoload a logitech software and after install set it up...

Is my wheel broken? It only uses the first 90 degrees of the rotaion axis.
Try downloading the Logitech software for your wheel (or whatever brand it is). I've heard that that can fix the problem, especially if your wheel needs driver updates and whatnot.

Yes, from the install cd. But you will need a program for that wheel that you can find on the Logitech web site.
