Cheers guys 💯
Very interesting thank you
Yeah can’t wait 👍👍
Great vid mate love your work great de magnetising you rockstar
Nice video, I could do with one of those plates! Also your oven looks good, love how the door slides in, oven envy! 😂
Hahaha that's a sign of age when you start noting ovens 🤣🤣🤣
Rob at Swift Slots is your man for the plate bud
Nice work Pete, Rob should get the metal plates made for his website, he would make a killing lol.
I have mentioned it to him, I'll say it again. Cheers for the comment, most appreciated ..... can't wait to test it out 👌🏻
awesome job pete well done ..... btw was the missis in when you was using the oven .... dont let them know we know how to use ovens 🤣🤣🤣🤣👍👍👌👌
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💪🏻👍🏻
😂
dont forget to hit the thumbs up folks 👍👍
Legend....... Enough said 👌🏻💯
That plate will clean up with a bit of fine sand paper or wire wool. You could put a sheet of tin foil between the chassis and plate next time, then the rust will not carry over to the plastic.
That's a great idea with the foil, you are literally a genius as I have that in the cupboard 🤣🤣. Cheers ledge, the plate is amazing, I have a chap in these comments suggesting it should appear on your website 😉
@@trackfanstv They are listed LOL
Awesome
and there was me all poised for a Minions style BANANA! reply 😂
Maaaaate, I've used a meme before and got copyright'd so, I'm a bit reluctant but that would've been hilarious, a load of minions carrying my 🍌 chassis 🤣🤣
Nice work Pete thank you for showing this wher can I bet the metal plate from ?
Hey Rahul, cheers bud. If you speak to Rob over at Swift Slots, he's the guy that makes them 💪🏻👌🏻. Have a good day ahead fella 💯
Hi. Rather than oven it. I pour Boiled kettle water over it in the tin, 3 times eg goes cold, tip out do 2 more times.
That's a great tip, I will try this out, thank you so much for sharing 💯👌🏻
Good idea just keep on so our cars go faster and faster, but I will look forward to tyre testing that is complicated special on different tracks my grib is totally different from my Scalextric track and my policar track my fastest car on my Scalextric track Was a Scale-auto Porsche Gt 3 but not fast on the Policar track but my fastest car on the Politrack is now a Scalextric F1 car. Why 2 things as I see it the track grib fits better for the Scalextric car on the politrack or the standard power supply for the Politrack is only 1,5 amp where the Scalextric digital power supply is 4 amp ? All the best from Beverley
Once you have it flat wouldn't you strengthen it with some flat brass or alloy strip and carbon fibre with resin, it will stay a lot stiffer.
I did the same with a ninco mosler years ago very successfully.
Hey Graham, nice tip bud thank you. In honesty, I'd never have thought of that and it sounds like a good plan. I possibly will get some brass sheets as it might help with the weight proportion for balancing 😉. Thanks for this ledge
Would have been good to see it before you flattened. Good luck at weekend
I realised after I poured the water in, it was like a rocking horse chair and the reason I needed to flatten it was due to, when breaking the rear end of the car would pull to one side so, hopefully this fixes it pal. Have a good day ledge, speak soon 👌🏻💯
