That plate will clean up with a bit of fine sand paper or wire wool. You could put a sheet of tin foil between the chassis and plate next time, then the rust will not carry over to the plastic.
That's a great idea with the foil, you are literally a genius as I have that in the cupboard 🤣🤣. Cheers ledge, the plate is amazing, I have a chap in these comments suggesting it should appear on your website 😉
Good idea just keep on so our cars go faster and faster, but I will look forward to tyre testing that is complicated special on different tracks my grib is totally different from my Scalextric track and my policar track my fastest car on my Scalextric track Was a Scale-auto Porsche Gt 3 but not fast on the Policar track but my fastest car on the Politrack is now a Scalextric F1 car. Why 2 things as I see it the track grib fits better for the Scalextric car on the politrack or the standard power supply for the Politrack is only 1,5 amp where the Scalextric digital power supply is 4 amp ? All the best from Beverley
Once you have it flat wouldn't you strengthen it with some flat brass or alloy strip and carbon fibre with resin, it will stay a lot stiffer. I did the same with a ninco mosler years ago very successfully.
Hey Graham, nice tip bud thank you. In honesty, I'd never have thought of that and it sounds like a good plan. I possibly will get some brass sheets as it might help with the weight proportion for balancing 😉. Thanks for this ledge
Maaaaate, I've used a meme before and got copyright'd so, I'm a bit reluctant but that would've been hilarious, a load of minions carrying my 🍌 chassis 🤣🤣
I realised after I poured the water in, it was like a rocking horse chair and the reason I needed to flatten it was due to, when breaking the rear end of the car would pull to one side so, hopefully this fixes it pal. Have a good day ledge, speak soon 👌🏻💯

That's a great tip, I will try this out, thank you so much for sharing 💯👌🏻
