Much as I love Lars I feel like he shouldn't need a drum tech for practice. Knowing how to fix and adjust one's instrument I feel is part of a musician bond. But hey, he can do what he wants, it's Lars 😄
@@Deshley_and probably for different reasons than what people think. This is not relax room for jamming, this is warmup before big production show for thousands of people. Everything has to reflect what's on stage. For the same reason guitarists don't fiddle with the gear when somethings off. This is why they have pro people to go this, they (band) are not the pros in the field. They (band and crew) do the show professionaly and that's why different people do different things. Seen it for MANY bands
@ Yeah man I don’t get it either man. You’re a professional touring drummer who does it for a living. I don’t understand how one regresses on their instrument as much as Lars has. I can see if you play drums as a hobby and don’t play for awhile or you play here and there, you get rusty and lose a bit of your chops. As a touring musician though, you have no excuse.
@@totigerusya that confused me when he said he had 12 and 13” rack toms. Just visually they looked smaller than that but I didn’t question it. Wasn’t until the official specs came out that they were 10/12” i was like i thought so

So he was complaining about the hi hat sound and moves the snare drum, the tech comes puts the snare back in its place and doesn't even look at the hihat. C'mon Lars you can do better .
