    Today on Jon's Moto Garage we're checking out a used Harley Davidson Iron 883 Sportster (xl883n) on Craigslist. This is a 2013 and is basically stock aside from the Daymaker Headlight. I'll take it for a test ride, do my inspection and walk around, and share a mini review/thoughts and impressions on the bike. The exhaust sounds awesome on these sportsters!

      Yup I will have one one day.Or at least go for a test ride on one
      Anyway I work at a cinema and we just had the test screening for Avengers Endgame and it was wow,it was something
      And before we all went home I took one of my co-workers on a very short ride through the parking lot.And if that extremely short ride counts,Daniel had the honor of being my first passenger :D
      Now I wanna try doing more 2up rides,might try another parking lot ride one night after work xd

    • @Paul20661
      @Paul20661 5 років тому

      And of course if I will ever get the chanse to do a longer ride and actually get on the rode I will provide the passenger with a helmet
      I might give em the bug and one day some of them might join the 2 wheel family
      Haha I always thought my first 2up ride is gonna be with a girl,this was unexpected because my bike got some problems don't know what it is now and it didn't started,he was the only one who pushed me and helped me start it and I went with him back so that's my story of my first pasager ride xd
      Gonna leave this here as a memory,anyway you should definetly see EndGame :)

    • @JonsMotoGarage
      @JonsMotoGarage  5 років тому

      I picked this one up for $3500. But that's definitely on the low end. If you can get one for around $4500 - $5000, that seems to be more consistent here in AZ at least. Keep in mind the market varies depending where you live. If you pay upwards of $5k, you can get newer ones with much lower miles here in AZ. I saw one recently with 4k miles 2014 for $4999 obo. It looked super clean.

      @darenmccoy1724 5 років тому

      Jon's Moto Garage thanks for getting back to me! This is really good info for me to gauge. I live in California, I been noticing prices like that here too.
      I hear they are great bikes, so why do people sell them so cheap and often?
      Also, is it “easy” to upgrade a 883 to a 1200? Is it worth it?
      Thanks again!

    • @JonsMotoGarage
      @JonsMotoGarage  5 років тому

      @@darenmccoy1724 I think one of the reasons they sell with such low miles in that price range is cause they're relatively inexpensive to begin with. Being an entry level bike, lots of people buy them as a first bike and then decide riding isn't for them. If you can get a 1200 nightster or 48 in that price range, I would go for it. But youll likely find that the 1200's cost a bit more. It's hard to beat the style of the iron 883.

Harley should have had blacked out pipes in on them. With motor and everything else blacked out the pipes don’t look right. Please mention how much you pay for these bikes. When you buy them

    • @JonsMotoGarage
      @JonsMotoGarage  4 роки тому +2

      I end up selling lots of the bikes so I hold off on discussing price until after they're sold. Otherwise I'm sabotaging myself. lol.

      Jon's Moto Garage you’re sabotaging your youtube not saying the price. Just sell under a different company name/account.

      Hahaha...now that you mention it, maybe it's not? Lol. I wonder how long I've been getting that one wrong? But it's so much funner to say funner than more fun. And it's easier. Wait, is easier a real word? Alright, now I'm questioning everything!
      Here's Professor Google says: Merriam-Webster, however, gives fun as an adjective without comment, and states that funner and funnest are 'sometimes' used.
      I'm pretty sure it's not a real word.

    • @JonsMotoGarage
      @JonsMotoGarage  5 років тому

      Hahaha...we're opposites in that regard for sure. But I can see the appeal to forward controls as well. I just dig the sport bike stance a bit more. The beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Hahaha. Thanks for watching and commenting! I'll get a bike with forward s soon enough.
