Yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised if that thing isn’t what it actually looks like.
Though Transform would probably fail like all the other moves...except you can use IMPOSTER Ditto, since whatever invincibility it has seems to overlook abilities.

It's Pokémon. I'm sure nobody expects people to stop buying the biggest franchise in America. But at the same time that's why people were calling them out and expecting a lot out of the company.
@Legendary super Saiyan Broly From my knowledge of business, which remember Pokémon is, you have your passion projects and then you have your money-makers. Nowadays, Pokémon is heavily leaning toward pushing out games with sparse content and being satisfied with that because they know they'll make profit. A lot of this could be blamed on bad directors as well. Pokémon wasn't always like this.
The focus of Pokémon has changed over the years and instead of telling great stories and making the best possible experience ever, it's more about what niche can this Pokémon game feature that is both unique yet lacking from the previous generation. Think about it.
If Pokémon really wanted to make the next best game they would. Many people consider this the best Pokémon game. It's not a perfect game, but it's an attempted game that acts more as a intermediary game from 3ds to Switch in hopes that the next game will be better refined.
There are more people enjoying this game than you know. It's just the few percentage of naysayers are just so loud that it make it seems like majority of the fans hate it

Heatran has a chance to be either male or female, and doesn't belong to any egg groups, so it can't be bred; there's no reason they couldn't have made Zacian 100% chance to be female and Zamazenta 100% chance to be male, and put neither of them in an egg group.

It would have been better if it said “you don’t want to run” instead of “you can’t run away for some reason”,
lmao yeah because “for some reason” just sounds dumb. with the music, a scary message like that would be more fitting. there’s a lot of instances in this game where the messages don’t exactly fit the situation, and I feel the game was slightly rushed. it’s still an incredible game tho
But "You don't want to run" makes absolutely no sense. Everyone would want to run against a danger they are completely helpless against .
The only reasonable explanation for player not running away, is that they are unable to do so.
As for "some reason" it also makes sense, player character does not understand why they can't get away, this is the second pokemon battle of their life.

My guess on what is happening here is that the game is coded that first the animation plays and then the effects are calculated. What I think they did is that they wrote in some code between that basically just gives out the no effect message instead of calculating the results of the attack. That might be why the fly and roar animations break because fly was always intended to be followed up by the second fly animation and roar ends the battle. This might also be why snow warning does work because it happens outside of the attacking phase.
My second guess is that a special battle sequence was loaded because having that replacement code in the regular battle code would slow the whole thing down. Not by much mind you but gamedevelopers are crazy about that kind of stuff.
