- **UPDATE** I ended up installing the fresh air intake. I'll make a video showing if I thought it was worth it.
Welcome to my channel. Enjoy.
They wanted $2,200. Did it myself. Pellet Stove Install.
This video is me installing our pellet stove pipe and pellet stove. I had to drill through the brick. It was not hard at all.

Nice work but all the studies have been done you should have vented the fresh air intake outside as well highly advantageous however the exhaust and fresh air intake must be separated not too close to each other outside.
I ended up putting in the cold are intake. Although, I think it's less efficient. It seems like it does not heat as well.
Could you do a quick video showing what you did on the intake please ?
Yep, good job, easy to do and just a little bit cheaper!😂
yea saved ab 2k
Nice installation. How’s it working for you?
Love it. Especially with our high energy cost. Heats warmer for cheaper.
You need floor protection under that stove per manual.
Its in a tile basement.
Nice. I though it was vinyl planks.
You should really think about hooking up the fresh air intake the machine now pulls air from inside the house and exhausts it through the chimney
Those are not needed below a certain elevation per the manufacturer.
@@DustySmalls true but the fact remains that you are pushing warm air from the house out the chimney and pulling cold air from outdoors into the house
@@leo181s I wonder how much more efficient it would be?
Is he going to need a fresh air intake or not? Never done this but, if he doesn't, isn't he loading the inside of the house with toxic fumes? If not, is the chimney exhaust going to bring cold air or exhausting hot air? Don't tell me all of the technicalities, I just want to install one and save money on my $200.00 electric monthly bill during the winter.
@@JohnSmith-lq8ib I would tell you, but you don't want to know the technicalities.
