It’s time for an awesome RWD DRAG RACE!
We’ve got Mat in a Corvette C8 Stingray, and he’s facing off against a Porsche 911 Carrera and an Audi R8 RWD!
Now all these cars have pretty varied outputs, but we assure you it’s going to be closer than you think! Starting with the Corvette, it’s powered by a 6.2-litre naturally-aspirated V8 that puts down 482hp & 613Nm. It also weighs in at 1,655kg.
As for the Porsche, its 3-litre flat-six twin-turbo engine can ‘only’ put down 385hp and 450Nm. However, it’s easily the lightest car here, weighing in at just 1,509kg!
Then finally we have the Audi. It’s powered by a gorgeous 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10, that’s good for 570hp and 550Nm. It also weighs in at 1,609kg.

For a base 911, you’ve got to applaud it.
Man the 911 never fails to impress. You throw it up against any sports car and it always shows you what German engineering is capable of. Being the least powerful and still keeping up with the Corvette, which is a lot more powerful, is just impressive.
The Porsche is amazing. And it's the "ENTRY LEVEL" Porsche. Everytime I see a Porsche in a race on this channel I expect to see something incredible LOL
The real world performance of the 911 is always better than it should be. Impressive and all very cool cars!

The Corvette is cheap for reasons...and that Porsche is a little more expensive also for reasons. 100bhp less but still faster. Amazing piece of engineering.
The top down view with the drone for the break test is amazing. Would love to see a similar view for the 1/4 finish line.
The 911 is the most perfect car ever made.
That’s why even after living in the USA over 10 years I have not bought an American car! Germans & European cars are just better in every way.
Carwow messing up with the Corvette yet again! Looks the C8 is in TOUR mode! Put it in TRACK mode with Performance Traction Management in Race 1 or 2. Their first 0-60 runs with the C8 (older video) were done during break-in, when torque is limited by the computer. Learn how to work the car electronics to make a fair comparison.
The sound of the corvette in the cabin is just amazing, beautiful grunt

After watching this and Seen through glass test of the base 911 I think that’s the trim I would chose. I love the anti bling styling it’s just an amazing car! I love it!
R8 looks so good in that blue! Very interesting match up of the Porsche and that C8.
Porsches manage to put the power down brilliantly always... Added to the fact that they are "conservative" with power and Performance figures per each model and you have the recipe for that results
