I’m about to buy the identical shed but I need to know if the dimensions given include the roof overhang. I want to place it on a concrete pad so that the walls are flush to the concrete all the way around. Basically I need to know the exact outside footprint measurements of the walls only. Can anyone help?
@@lawnporn Thanks very much from the other side of the world! Your time and attention are very much appreciated! I’ve been trying to track these simple details down for weeks! Even Absco themselves couldn’t tell me!! REALLY!
@@lawnporn Hi Matt! Did you get a chance to measure up the shed wall’s dimensions? I’m keen to get started on making my concrete plinth. Thanks again for your help!
@SuperFOSS1 looking at the front of the shed the panelling is 3.0 metres. Including the over hang of the roof it is 3.07 metres, so each overhang is about 35mm or 3.5 centimetres. The depth of the shed is 2.92 metres.
Hi, new subscriber here. Just asking for advice. I have a sir Walter ( front yard) and kikuyu ( backyard). How late in the summer or autumn that I can apply a top dressing. Thanks 🙏
Thanks for the sub! There will be growth into early autumn and you can leave it as late as that but I would do the last week of summer for buffalo as it’d be slower recovery for that grass type. Kikuyu you can get away with early autumn.
My husband and I assembled one of these for my parents. Honestly found it terrible. First bit of wind all four walls blew out at the base. Ended up having to reinforce it with sleepers - one down each side and one along the back wall, screwed them to each wall at the bottom on the inside of the shed then to each other so it couldn’t blow outwards again.
Thanks for sharing that experience. If you don’t add the extra screws at the splice the panels are weak. So if it is blowing out, this may be the reason.
#Lawnporn lawn care tips there were plenty of extras added, husband is a tradey in construction so there’s always extras added 😂 we just didn’t have a great experience with it but can see why it would be a good option for some
Would you recommend adding screws to the slice before or after panel assembly? I imagine the screws would prevent the sheets from entering the channel.
Looking Good Matt. By the way I wasn't going to enter the grass off but have decided to give it a go. Can you explain the process.

Hi Matt, when are you reviewing the allett kensington? ........if at all
I am reviewing it. Just waiting for the lawn to be up to speed. Probably about 2-3 weeks. It’s a good machine.

I’ll measure mine up tomorrow for you.

@@lawnporn Thanks so much for this simple but extremely welcome and useful information.
Lol no wonder the owner was ok to power up the shed, he's got someone building him a showstopping lawn!!
The owner is fantastic even though I don’t know them.

Fair enough. Cheers for sharing.
