We just received our easy shed. It's great that you've put up a video of your experience, I've learned it's going to take a bit more than i thought to get it together! Thank you.
Thank you, I am waiting on a bike shed from Easy Shed. I hope it's smaller size is easier for me to put up virtually on my own. You video is a good reference point. Female power works for me.
Great video. I bought a 4.5x2.25 easyshed. I read the instructions and it's been sitting in the box for about a month now as I've not been looking forward to building it.
I'd wish I have watched your video before the purchase. Totally agree with your comments. The shed quality is no problem but the design of assembly can be better. Playing aroung with those self-drilling screws with no pre-drill holes are very frustrating.
As my sheds are a permanent fixture, I simply used high grade glazing silicon and glued the bottom channel to the concrete, never, ever moves, same with the roof, use silicon to the wall edge. You are correct, too many fkn screws, much better just using silicon.
Good job mate. I had a similar experience. Took me 2 full days but I had the help of my son. I found the roof the hardest, mainly with squaring it up. I also bought 4 right angled brackets and screwed them into each of the top corners which helped. Funny you had the same issue with the doors that I had. Perfectly fine when assembled on the ground but not as easy to install once it's up. Satisfying once it's up though.
@@aussiedadlife I've caulked around the edge but found that I also had to caulk on the inside where the panels sit inside the frame. Water pools in there and seeps through. I also seem to have a small leak in the roof ridge line which I'll caulk as well.
Same. I had to silicone outside and inside completely at the base, but that’s because it’s supposed to be installed on a stepped slab or similar, so that the shed base perimeter is a bit lower than the inside. I didn’t know the inside dimensions though when we poured the slab, so we made it flat, not stepped. I’ve just bought a 6 x 3 x 2.4 shed, and I’ve made the floor stepped this time, constructed out of 200 x 50 treated pine, about 40 x 3 mtr lengths in total. With screws it worked out costing me about 1,000 dollars which is about 600 dollars cheaper than my 3 x 3 concrete base. Thanks for your video.
3 weeks for delivery - not bad. I've been waiting over 4 weeks now for mine and its still not in sight. Its been traveling down the Hume Hwy from Albury to Melbourne for the last 4 days 😖 I figured it must be on a sleigh being drawn by a couple of Chihuahuas

I have just started assembling my 4.5m X 3.0m Easy shed. I have had to return the gable ends, whoever cut these ends on the machine was asleep on the job. One side was 2090 instead of 2100 and the other side was 2110 instead of 2100. Apart from the longer and shorter ends, the in between sheets on the ends where also much longer. Completed assembling the roof, I have preferred to use silicon in addition to the screws, NO Way am I going to place screws in the roof section like described on the plans. Many of my sheets are torn at the corners and bent. Lets see how this shed turns out.
I think it was around 1.3 cubic metres. Got it delivered via cement truck and wheel barrowed it in. Around 10cm in depth with reo bar and drilled into the existing path to stop movement
just finished assembling my 4.5 meter shed panels. one question when you fix the back panel to the first side panel, which overlaps which. side on top or back on top? it's taken me 1 week as I'm 71 and my wife as a valued helper has recently had a shoulder replacement..
Been doing the 5x3 shed, it's now, Blown out to three half days )17 hours and now needing a fourth. Biggest problem I find with the assembly is the poor material quality. I'm piloting all the holes because the steel gauge is so thin it bends away, no matter how gently I press on it. The metal often tears when I pull out the drill bit. The roof has been a nightmare, The half roof panels droop about every 600mm, making it impossible to slide into it's slot. will finish this comment when I finish the shed.....
It is 5 step assembly, once all panel are constructed, then the 5 steps come into play. I built a 4.5m x 3m shed easily following the instructions correctly.
Yeah the instructions were pretty straight forward, everything went where it was supposed to and screwed together ok. I need to work on my joke delivery lol.
Hey Mate. About to do their 6 x 3. Question re flat slab vs rebate, are you getting any water in the shed under the walls? Did you seal it? If so with what? Cheers
Yes I get water under the shed when it rains heavily. I plan to seal it but just haven't got around to it yet. I only store items that don't matter about getting wet such as mowers and chairs etc.
Air rivet gun does a far easier, nicer, stronger, quieter job. Thanks for sharing, doing it yourself was a better end product, Other company half assembled theirs, And not nicely.
Any chance you can show a close up photo of the ridge line. I can't get my roof on properly. It won't sit flush at the top as it wedges into the top hat. Can't figure it out and easyshed weren't helpful
If you want to build you own shed with a 200 piece jigsaw and you like that go with easy shed. I will never use them again. I should have used Brisbane garden sheds. 4 sides and 2 pieces for the roof.
Yes forget about easy to install, I installed a 3 x 2.5 shed this week and it took me 3 days. The manual not always clear and detailed and what bugs me the most is how flimsy the thing is I will not recommend them if you looking for a quality shed.
Water does seep through between the concrete and the base, the concrete is not dead level or completely smooth. If you wanted to silicone it up that would work.
I put 2 bolts into the concrete on each side. It's rock solid and not going anywhere. The doors are flimsy and wouldn't stand up to anyone with a big screwdriver if they wanted to get into it though.

Need a mate to help lift it up. You do half the roof at a time
The top hat is screwed on to half first then you slide the second half in a d screw from the bottom

You need 2 people and fix one half of the roof and the spine together then slide the other half of the roof on
