- Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace is a 1999 space opera film recap. It is the first film of the Star Wars prequel trilogy. The film follows with two Jedi Knights, Obi-wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson), who flee the planet Naboo with the planet's queen Padme Amidala (Natalie Portman) in the hope of finding a peaceful end to a trade dispute against the Trade Federation. Along the way, the ship must stop for repairs on the planet Tatooine, where the Jedi encounter Anakin Skywalker (Jake Lloyd), a young slave boy who is unusually strong with the Force. They free him from Watto during a Pod Race organized by Jabba the Hut. When the group returns to Naboo, they realize that the situation is much worse than they thought - the evil Sith Lords have returned. The Jedi Council, including Yoda (Frank Oz), Mace Windu (Samuel L. Jackson), and Plo Koon (Alan Ruscoe) They join forces with Jar Jar Binks (Ahmed Best) and the Gungans to defeat the droid army.

Uncle Greg has to tell his niece, Lori, a bedtime story but doesn't know any of the traditional ones. He uses his knowledge of movies, in this case, "", to deliver. His misremembering and interpretation of events seem to twist the story into parody. Lacking any form of parental skills, he fumbles through the movie forgetting sometimes that he is telling this to a child.
Please enjoy our recap of this film. Our reaction to scenes are solely based on the writing and how the plot could have been better. Plot holes are pointed out and made to be funny. We actually do like the movie.

That's a lot of rewatching, but it's worth it for the last season. I still can't believe how well they ended it. We'd love for you to come back and watch the rest of our Star Wars recaps once you're done. I think our sequel ones came out the best.

I just recently got disney plus and ny girkfriend cane fron astar wars loving family, ive never seen any of the movies.. but have wanted to for ages.. we watched thisbone last night but i dozed off a few tines so i missed some stuff… thisbis helping me get ready to watch the next film
