People hate on the prequels but let's face it, episode 3 alone had the best memes and the greatest lightsaber duel of all 8 so far.
Lion El Jonson -the prequels are way better than the Disney Star Wars movies. Episode III is actually my favorite of the entire saga. It’s was so cool to get to see the finale transformation that Anakin takes to the Darkside. The birth of Vadar was epic!
I thought episode II kind of dragged on and could’ve been a much better movie if written better. Some of it should’ve been condensed. I also love episode V-The Empire Strikes Back. It was dark and edgy and by the end all “Hope” seems to have been lost. It was a great middle part to the overall saga. They could only go up from that point.
The new Disney movies just suck. The direction they went with Luke Skywalker’s story was sacrilege. I like to end the story at episode VI. It wraps the story up nicely.

The greatest lightsaber moment is when Luke tossed it off the cliff. Obsolete Junk.

True but they only have good light saver duels coz everyone in there were trained jedi. All the others their skills were shit. Anyways let's see what this lay film be like I'm only watching it to finish the saga bit coz I really want to watch it. Not sure if it's burn out or Disney has fucked it or my/everyone expectations are too high. Who knows let's get a decent ending without any stupid plot twists and endings we're you go why did you do that. Aka that bloody leigh thing in the last movie.
As someone who has watched Star Wars casually but has never gotten to it seriously, this helps a lot.

am i the only one who really enjoys the prequel movies?
I never really had a problem with prequels. Ep3 is fantastic, i remember people crying in the cinema on Order 66. Ep2 is a bit slow-paced and it could have a lot more depth on Saifo Dias mystery, otherwise ok. And Ep1 aside from the god awful fucking jar jar and Anakin accidentally one shoting the main boss was OK as well.
I love them, don't understand the hate for them. 💜
While I understand why people dislike them, I remember they're just movies, and fully enjoy them.
I found Anakin's (adult) personality and weird courtship with Padme so cringeworthy that they eclipsed a lot of the good parts of the movie.

technically yes, atleast thats how i see it. If the Jedi council had just trusted Anakin all of this could’ve been avoided, we could see his conflict throughout episode 3 and the jedi constantly messing up and not trusting him or following their true ways made the decision for him

What’s so infuriating to me is that Rey, someone who just picked up a lightsaber a few minutes ago, is able to get the best of Kylo Ren, a sith who has trained in the force for nearly all his life.
It’s because everyone needs to get the females a win in the movies when they are plenty of female stars
It’s because Kylo was just shot by Chewbacca’s crossbow blaster. That weapon is super strong and kylo i strong enough to not die from it. Kylo was also emotionally broken from killing his father so he wasn’t at the best of his game. We see this for the rest of the trilogy pretty much. If Kylo wasn’t trying to keep Rey alive and wasn’t physically and emotionally hurt, he would’ve DESTROYED them.

Darth Plageuis influenced the midichlorians to create Anakin, the chosen one for the sith. The midichlorians refused and made the chosen one for the jedi and Darth Plageuis gives Anakin to Shmi.
Shmi is from a species that self reproduces so no mate is required, like The Hutt.
Shmi is human she is not a different species its supposed to be a representation of the virgin mary, George lucas even said it himself
Except Darth Plagueis fails to do so and feels the force leave him, later he hears about Anakin and wanted nothing to do with him because he feels the force revolted against him .
That isn't Canon. However a new comic just released states that Sideous manipulated the midiclorians to create Anakin.

Obi-one was left on the ship because he is just an assistant Jedi a padwan. Qui-gon is the boss of obi-one so quigon being of higher authority went into the planet to find parts. Obi-one was tasked with making sure the others didn’t send any transmissions from the ship.

To be fair you should watch them all. The 90s to 2002 ones are most probably the hardest to watch. Reason being is that they tried to put in too much in without explaining it that well. The 80s movies are simple but well done. I've been a fan since I was a kid due to my mum and to be honest I didn't like the last movie that much and don't really want to watch this one out today. I'm only going to watch it to finish the saga saying that down load Disney app and start watching then. To be honest watch from new hope or star wars which is the start of the 70/80 movies and go to the one that was down two years ago and you be fine. Yup, but technically episode iv was shown first. They have no idea who Anakin was at that point.
