Éliás Péter the falcon is also in star trek 😏
I’m 28. So this was the first Star Wars movie I saw in theater n really got me into it. So it’s always gonna have a special part in my heart. My grannie rip loved jar jar
Not gonna lie: this video helped me to respect TPM a little bit more. Just a little bit, though.
you missed the hooded figure next to palpatin during the voting for him to become cancelor ,which is suspected to be darth plageus
No it does not deserve the bad rep. The Phantom Menace is my favorite Star Wars movie of them all. You just helped me love it even more! The Vader breath at the end credits caught me offguard.
Great video. Just to clear up, Wald was the Rodian's name, and Weazel was the other character played by Warwick Davis. First seen sitting with Watto watching the famous Boonta Eve podrace in The Phantom Mence, later becoming one of the Cloud-Riders, as seen in Solo : A Star Wars Story.
After watching this video, I have a lot more respect for the film
I'm a defender of the Star Wars prequels this video a huge reason why! Great video!
The way maze got Luke’s light saber was in cloud city when his hand got cut off from Vader it fell somewhere and garbage men were cleaning and then maze got it
That was actually anakins lightsaber
The amount of detail and research you guys put into your videos is second to none!
I think it’s ridiculous that he said Qui-Gon was blind!
He said that Qui Gon is symbolic of the Jedi Order being blind.
@@ScooterinABActually its more of the Council, not the Order in general. Qui Gons views were the views of the peak of the Jedi, he let the force control his actions
woew. that las easter egg was chilling. shoking and scary
Phantom Menace is not bad at all.
You did miss one reference in the parade scene. The band is playing a major key of the Imperial March.
I saw this movie when I was ten years old. It was my first Star Wars movie.
Till this day, I still love it.
TPM > RotS > AofC
Neat seeing you here!
Hey 👋
Rots > Aotc > Tpm
11:10 there is no fear, the is SERENITY! Gonna quote, please quote accurately lol
This video definitely made me appreciate Episode I more, the hidden details with Palpatine are pretty interesting
Great review there's many things I missed. The Phantom Menace had a lot to cover in the film. I think it did really well
I just remember I was disappointed with all the CGI and how they stepped away from film for straight digital. Also, Maul was such a badass and will always be my favorite visual Star Wars character. Easter egg for X-Men, he plays Toad and does his Maul light-saber pose.
@wespozo Thank you for bringing the truth !
I like how the analysis pointed to opposite meanings of the various details presented. Cheers!
Me after Phantom Menace: I swear to god Darth Maul is my favorite Sith but he’s done off with so easily
CloneWars and Rebels Cartoons: Nah
the prequals are not as bad as people say they are, there is always 7-9
Jar-jar the first and mostly only comedic relief character in the pre-quel it inspired the comedic relief of all the sequel characters.
But at least Jar Jar affected the plot somehow. He made Palpatine THE SENATE!
6:32 Chewy didn’t want a metal as he saw it as a worthless object.
This video just proved the Phantom Menace is a cinematic masterpiece
Not really. It's more that it proves the movie is watchable. I always enjoyed the movie that wasn't playing when I watched this. Perhaps I was picking up on the Palpatine stuff.
lol
That detail about repurposing the emperors theme is amazing
The Last Jedi should be the worse reviewed Star Wars movie... Ep1 was fun as hell!
It is the worst reviewed, idk when he's talking about
The Last Jedi is easily superior to all the prequels.
@Kevin b last jedi 85 on metacritic, phantom menace 51. And it's all subjective. Some people like the prequels, some don't. Some people like the sequels, some don't Everyone loves the og trilolgy.
@Kevin b yes, I’m sure. The ratings which are a result of a dogpile of idiotic binary reactions? They have no value.
My favorite part of this movie was Queen Amidala's hype costumes and righteous makeup based on Heian Period fashions! 👍
I'd still watch this movie 6 times over The Last Jedi only once
when Yoda says that the boy's future is clouded and unsure (I don't remember the exact quote) the imperial march is heard a little bit in the background
I love TPM and prequels. There are some less than desired moments but overall they're great.
Just got chills at the end of this video.
The “no” segment made me laugh so hard! Idk why but it did lol
He forgot one:
No, no, *noooooo*
YOU WILL DIIIIIIIIE!
These prequels didn't bother me as a kid and rewatching now makes me more interested to dig deep in the mythos for future films.
I loved the prequels no one can change my mind
Sweet! Lots of people enjoy them!
So many Easter Eggs that I'd missed in this movie
I wasn't aware that the children's choir vocals in the celebration scene was the emperor's theme in a more upbeat form
0:32 no the real phantom menace is...
Mesa JAR JAR !!!!!!
KaijusaurusG2K lol thought it was gunna be Jar Jar Abrams and Disney😂
@@hazadus2u they too lol
You missed a similarity to ET when Anakin gets his pod racer started he shouts "It's working! It's working!" Elliot says this in the same surprised tone when ET's gadget radio thing begins to function. 👍
