Amazing accidental first date. A doctor’s visit in the US is like a dinner at a Michelin Star restaurant and a helicopter ride around the city. If anyone offered to pay my healthcare I would fall in love.
"Camp Rock walked so -" lemme stop you right there. Before Camp Rock, there was "Stuck in the Suburbs." Disney has been trying to make 'random girl meet cutes random pop star' into a whole thing for a long time.
Lmao, I used to LOVE Starstruck when I was a teenager. Something about this movie being so stereotypical just works perfectly. Loved the reaction, enjoyed Seamus being a fanboy lol Maybe you can do Geek Charming sometimes! It’s also actually a surprisingly fun movie
I haven’t even watched the video yet but I just wanna say STARSTRUCK IS MY FAVORITE DCOM (AND POSSIBLY FAVORITE MOVIE) EVER Edit: I’m glad they loved it as much as I do 💜
so I loved this movie when I was younger, and now I love really trope-y fanfiction. I'm not saying there's a pipeline, I'm just saying there's a connection...
I remember the first time I ever watched this movie I was with my friend and at the scene where they fall in the water in the woods I said “Is drowning each other in a lake like the pinnacle of romance???” and we still joke about it to this day.
You need to watch the hit Disney classic Let It Shine. I remember everyone in middle school loved it but I’d be interested to see your take on it all these years later
I loved this one, it was one of my favorites Disney Channel's movies. And i still have 'I'll be your hero' on my playlist, i don't listen to it, but i have it.
So the 335 horses would definitely win that tug-of-war game, because 1 horsepower is roughly the *average* power output of a horse, not the peak. A horse's peak is usually about 15.
I think you should watch The Color of Friendship its based on actual events about the friendship between two girls; Mahree & Piper, one from the United States and the other from apartheid South Africa.
I remember watching this DCOM in about 5th grade with my best friend. We went into it thinking it was going to be a hate watch but we ended up being very entertained!
I actually like Starstruck. It’s a very funny and entertaining movie along with How To Build A Better Boy (my personal fav) ❤ But when u started singing Ridiculous from descendants, but said it’s from zombies, I died✋🏾😂 🫣
even tho this movie is very cliché. i love watching this movie growing up and even now. Its just really sweet. Teaching kids to like a person for who they are and not judge a book by its cover.
This movie definitely reads like a wattpad fanfic, but most of us watching were too young to even know what wattpad is when it came out. I definitely loved it as a kid but watched it about two years ago and was (star)struck by how bad it was. I still have a lot of nostalgia for it though.
Wattpad didn't even hit a mil users until a year after this movie came out. Stereotypes and cliches existed way before either of those.... trust me, I read some pretty bad X-Files fanfic in the early 00s that could fit the Wattpad stereotype lol
10:57 “You think he actually knows her name? I’m not sure I know her name…” Is actually really funny because despite this having been one of my favourite D-coms growing up, I continuously mix her name up with her sister’s. Idk “Sarah” is so much more Disney MC than “Jessica”…
I didn't watch it when it first came out but my best friend said she kept watching it on repeat for a week. I watched it probably ten years later and I was like... ok, I can imagine having seen the appeal.
THANK YOU, but in seriousness every time I watch this movie I get a headache bc his eyes are so blue and scary, every time I look into his eyes they burn and it hurts
Wait I just went through your DCOM video playlist and realized you haven’t done the single best DCOM ever made, Lemonade Mouth. Please remedy this immediately
I have no idea the situation of how or why I have seen this movie, but this is the first D-com you’ve reviewed I’ve actually seen (besides HS Musical #1 of course)
I remember hating that movie even though I was the protagonist's age. But it just wouldn't stop playing on the Disney channel when there was nothing good on all the other kids channels, so I hated it but I watched it like 10 times.... Edit: just to clarify, I was so done with the "enemy to lovers" thing, and that is why I hated this movie so much.
something I always think about with this movie is specially the main actress Danielle Campbell is the fact she went on to date Louis Tomlinson for like over a year I think
The sudden transition to "at my grandfather's funeral" killed me
We need another funeral over here 😞
Amazing accidental first date. A doctor’s visit in the US is like a dinner at a Michelin Star restaurant and a helicopter ride around the city. If anyone offered to pay my healthcare I would fall in love.
Same lol
the doctor was main guy's sister's husband or something like that
"Camp Rock walked so -" lemme stop you right there.
Before Camp Rock, there was "Stuck in the Suburbs." Disney has been trying to make 'random girl meet cutes random pop star' into a whole thing for a long time.
stuck in the suburbs is disney GOLD looool
Whoa 😮 good to know
Honestly, good on Disney for helping young girls write fanfic in the future
I love Seamus' energy in this lmao
honestly the biggest twist in cinematic history
@@SeamusGorman4 Omfg now I'm the starstruck one 😂😅
@@SeamusGorman4 fr😂
@@mckenziedownes3078 yeah I feel that way EVERY time someone replies to me too 😂
"Camp Rock crawled so this could fly"
Man, this really is as Disney Channel as you can be
Lmao, I used to LOVE Starstruck when I was a teenager. Something about this movie being so stereotypical just works perfectly. Loved the reaction, enjoyed Seamus being a fanboy lol
Maybe you can do Geek Charming sometimes! It’s also actually a surprisingly fun movie
"Wait, he's singing about being famous?"
Is that not most pop and hip hop?
Yes 😂
I just ate the most delicious orange, in case you were wondering. Also glasses seamus is the best.
i'm really glad to hear this, matthew
I really liked video ❤ I like he reaction in this 😅😅
Finally we get Seamus singing along to the excellent music
I haven’t even watched the video yet but I just wanna say STARSTRUCK IS MY FAVORITE DCOM (AND POSSIBLY FAVORITE MOVIE) EVER

yes i love that movie!!
Oh yeah I liked that one
Man, I haven't heard anyone talk about that movie in years
I remember that
The blue hair and glasses combo looks really good 💙✨
it really does!!
Both versions of Hero are definitely top-tier.
Also, his girlfriend is Stella from Jonas.
yeah that’s what my first thought was when they were discussing where she’s from
and went on to be Riley Peron in Baby Daddy
@@M.M.Y.B Yes! Baby Daddy was the sh*t!
starstruck is such a fever dream, i remember it so vividly, but apparently no one else does
I loved this one, it was one of my favorites Disney Channel's movies. And i still have 'I'll be your hero' on my playlist, i don't listen to it, but i have it.
i have it, and i listen to it (more than i'd like to admit)
Seamus knowing all the songs and he just starts singing and then vegard is just there like 😳
Your not wrong it really is. I love these dcom video, I really hope you make more
blue seamus AND blue vegard. also it seems seamus is in his atlantis era (glasses y'know)
OMG ATLANTIS ERA!! BLUE HAIR AND GLASSES!??
Atlantis era is looking to be a great era
Starstruck is the funniest Disney Channel movie to me. Christopher and Jessica’s interactions are so toxic but I surprisingly still support
Mood
i love vegard trying to shout and seamus' laughter off camera is still louder
I love the fact that you immediately recognised three people from sonny with a chance is in this movie 🤣
I love the fact you pointed out the main character chick is a healthy fan but the sister is a crazed fan 😅
christopher wild be like 🧿👄🧿
I’ve been waiting for seamus to watch this movie since the beginning of his dcom era and it did not disappoint omg

I have been waiting for this episode since you started yessss
This and Geek Charming are my two fav DCOMS ever!
It is very easy for me to say "Hi!" and not get drawn into a conversation.
this man makes me feel like I've stumbled into the Mr. Beast side of UA-cam. I feel like the algorithm is gonna feed me toy ads now
You two make the perfect duo 😂 the commentary is golden
I remember watching this DCOM in about 5th grade with my best friend. We went into it thinking it was going to be a hate watch but we ended up being very entertained!
Seamus: You know, when I was at my grandfather's funeral...
Vegard: *oh.*
More of Vegard roasting Seamus please
I thought I only liked this movie because I had a crush on Sterling Knight but rewatching it it’s actually not bad that’s why I liked it
I actually like Starstruck. It’s a very funny and entertaining movie along with How To Build A Better Boy (my personal fav) ❤ But when u started singing Ridiculous from descendants, but said it’s from zombies, I died✋🏾😂 🫣
you look like youre cosplaying Sadness from Inside Out in the best way with the blue hair and those glasses
y'all are such a comfort channel
even tho this movie is very cliché. i love watching this movie growing up and even now. Its just really sweet. Teaching kids to like a person for who they are and not judge a book by its cover.
I was nervous that you were about to hate on one of the greatest movies ever made, so glad to be proven wrong
This movie definitely reads like a wattpad fanfic, but most of us watching were too young to even know what wattpad is when it came out. I definitely loved it as a kid but watched it about two years ago and was (star)struck by how bad it was. I still have a lot of nostalgia for it though.

ENEMIES TO LOVERS
6:57 so true, king. i love that you’re a chistopher wilde stan.
welcome to a special edition of “seamus bought disney plus and wants to write it off”😂 absolutely love these videos
Something About The Sunshine was my JAM! It was one of a few songs that immediately brought me good mood no matter how sad I was
This and motorcrossed were my favourite dcoms when I was little!!! I’m so glad you liked them!!!!!!!!!!
10:57 “You think he actually knows her name? I’m not sure I know her name…”
Is actually really funny because despite this having been one of my favourite D-coms growing up, I continuously mix her name up with her sister’s. Idk “Sarah” is so much more Disney MC than “Jessica”…
Now I really want to see you react to "Geek Charming", another peek stereotype movie I absolutely loved as a kid
I was in love with Sterling Knight as a kid
3:01 I talk about you like that I promise
This is childhood classic for me and I woke up thinking about it for some reason
I literally have the urge to binge listen to hero
@@theoutsiderjess1869 me too
You should react to the Nickelodeon movie Spectacular. It's pretty much a Nick version of High School Musical.
niall last name twins
DULY NOTED
LOL I like that movie but it's very cringe!
I don’t think I’ve seen that one 🤔
I didn't watch it when it first came out but my best friend said she kept watching it on repeat for a week. I watched it probably ten years later and I was like... ok, I can imagine having seen the appeal.
I like the glasses, they remind me of the ones the guy from Atlantis wears
i GASPED when you said vegard hasn't seen this, truly the plottwist of the century
SEAMUS LOOKS SO CUTE IN GLASSES WHAT
omg Seamus you have to do Let it Shine next please
Yes ❤
Love how Seamus feeling Hero just really lifted my mood. Thank you both once again for a fun video.
Seamus’s glasses are so cool looking
You should watch Lemonade Mouth!!!!!! Literally the best DCOM ever made
SEAMUS UR GLASSES LOOK SO COOL
But can we talk about how sterling went from a Twinkie to a beefy stud? Like damn
Seamus just sent me back in time to when this premiered.
It’s like vegard is Draco and Seamus is Harry rn and I’m living for it 😂
Seamus loving this movie is so adorable
Yes!! You did this one!! Commenting before finishing it, just too psyched that you did this one.
This is a better fanfic movie then any of the after movies
Yeah 😅pretty much

Me and my sister used to watch this film every Friday night when we had a Mcdonalds, I completely forgot about this film
Seamus your laughter is so contagious 🤣🤣
Camp Rock *stumbled* so Starstruck could run! I love this movie lmao!
I have no idea the situation of how or why I have seen this movie, but this is the first D-com you’ve reviewed I’ve actually seen (besides HS Musical #1 of course)

Omg I love your glasses Seamus!
It was really funny when seamus sang along to songs. I love singing along to the songs too
Hero is the best song in this movie it aged so well
This is one of my absolute favorite movies. I've watched it like a billion times.

something I always think about with this movie is specially the main actress Danielle Campbell is the fact she went on to date Louis Tomlinson for like over a year I think
she manifested this plot for herself.
2:46 she’s Ashley Tisdale who played Sharpay
“You’re the voice I hear inside my head” I died😂😂😂
This is literally my favourite dcom, I’m so excited!!!
Finally! This was THE Disney channel movie for me when I was a kid. It unironically is probably the movie I’ve seen the most lol.
8:38 Just to let you know, 1 horse is around 12 horsepower.
I think im having as much fun as Seamus is having filming this. And my hair is opposite his in fushia
the cardigan reference is amazing
I think it’s sweet and the songs slap it’s a unique and charming movie
