Hobgoblin had huge potential to be a much bigger part of the movie and his conflict with Peter had been built up since the first movie only to have within the first couple of minutes get “for the plot” amnesia. As the executives basically made Sam raimi put venom into the film. What I love from Tobey´s spiderman is that he never changes his suit between movies. Also the evolution of his character. First discovering his powers and the price that comes with it. Second he goes throught insecurities but learns about believing himself and fight for the ones he love. And thirth he becomes too overconfident but learns about humility, keeps the girl but makes peace with himself for the ones he lost/hurt, making him a mature heroe. The only thing that i dont like of him is that sometimes he seems to smile when he´s sad (lol)... but thats a minor thing comparing to the other things.
Shrikant D. V. exactly. change how they portrayed the black suit affecting peter (no cringey dancing, no asking cookies with nuts) and leave venom for the fourth film! could've been an amazing film
Adding Venom was important coz there had to be some sinister threat angle to the film....Sandman was too sympathetic, not a villain in real sense and even seeked redemption in the end.....Venom was real bad, evil and it was needed to balance a sympathetic villain....However they portayed Venom so dammn bad that it was horrible on screen....makes u want to forget that happened
That was honestly the plan. Sony pushed Raimi to put Venom in imo then rebooted it cause it flopped. I think it was suppose to be Lizard plus Goblin on the side.
Sandman is one of the most powerful characters in the Marvel universe. He can go toe to toe with the Hulk... which is not something just anyone can say.
Alex Marshall oh yeah. raimi is still a great director and i love how this movie was shot/edited, just a poorly written script, bad casting for eddie and too many subplots brought this movie down a ton.

Tobey after meeting Tom and Strange:
*where do these guys come from?*
It’s probably strange, but what i always loved about Tobey acting is the sounds. Grunts, screams, like its really happening to him. My fav childhood movies ❤
1:19 small detail but you gotta love his screams/yells
Yeah Tobey’s grunts/screams are top notch, I’ve always loved how real they sound. You can really feel it
@@lemmihilldrix1450 yes! 👌🏻
None of the other Spider-Men sell it like that.
Those screams are iconic

Toby's pun scripts are much sinked in to parker's persona. Parker being the bullied and abused but liveds a different person as spiderman. Toby is the best spiderman I'd say

The action scenes in these films are just so ahead of their time its crazy.

I don't like sand.
It's coarse
And Rough
And Irritating
And it gets everywhere.
Oops, wrong franchise.
Is it bad that I'm not a SW fan (I've only seen 2 movies, neither of which were part of the original trilogy) & yet that was exactly what I was thinking?
Funnily enough, they used corn as fake sand in this scene, for those exact reasons.

Doctor Strange: There's plenty of more than you think.
The fact that Raimi will be the director of the new Doctor Strange movie and he was mentioned in the Spiderman trilogy makes me happy
the mix between cgi and real stunts is so incredibly good! Something the mcu is missing
CGI is better than DC's justice league 2017
Sad part is that isn't even a joke. It's a fact.
True
Its actually better than 95% of today's films.
Its actually because most of the cgi scenes are used with props
There is a version of justice league that Will blow your mind Well Thats what they say
This was the first movie I ever watched in theatre. Still one of my most favorite experiences I've ever had
The fight scenes in the og trilogy were just so much better than Andrew and toms movies
I think it's because of constant contact and not so much cgi, for example the final fight against green goblin
Andrew definitely had the cooler fight scenes. The final battle with Electro will always be the best fight scene in all of Spider-Man

I always liked how this version of Spider-Man’s webs aren’t artificial but instead organic
I like web-shooters better. I’m going to be called a lunatic for saying this, but they make more sense.
@@thefilmwatcher1302 Not weird at all. Organic makes even less sense than artificial
@@thefilmwatcher1302 Spidey always had web-shooters in the comics, the Raimi movies changed it to organic webbing. So comics too gave him organic webbing for a while until a retcon of the character where he was back to using web-shooters.
@@theshowdown9355 Organic makes sense from a biological point of view. I mean, a spider bites you and gives you powers, why not webbing? But the Lee-Ditko comics wrote Spider-Man in such a way that Peter uses his genius to design web-shooters and make web-fluids. So, web-fluids and web-shooters are comic canon.
@@thefilmwatcher1302 Plus, web-shooters are comic-accurate.

Thirth
He’s suit does change but it’s only minor changes
One thing i love about the originals compared to now is the damn music it just makes every scene so much better

See this was building up good. They shouldn't have added Venom in this movie.
Shrikant D. V. exactly. change how they portrayed the black suit affecting peter (no cringey dancing, no asking cookies with nuts) and leave venom for the fourth film! could've been an amazing film
Studios. They messed up Amazing Spider-man too.
Anupam Niyogi Venom is not evil. He just despised Spider-Man.
That was honestly the plan. Sony pushed Raimi to put Venom in imo then rebooted it cause it flopped. I think it was suppose to be Lizard plus Goblin on the side.
