      I hope that hair is still super healthy and strong after bleaching. My stylist won’t go more than 2.5 shades lighter when my highlights. My h here is light brown, and I wanted to have more platinum highlights. However, they blend in with my hair very nicely, and still provide enough overall lighting , and brightness to my face. With super healthy silky and very long hair( just past my waist) I’m satisfied. It’s not worth damaging my hair for ultra bleached head of hair. There’s no way you can have both by stripping all the color out to get the ultimate platinum blonde. Unless you’re already a blonde. But a a lot of people wanting the platinum blonde are the ones starting at level 1-2 shade or Asian hair which will have to take ultimate beating to get level 7-8 lift. Sticking somewhere in between is think it’s a sweet spot because you get enough lightness but keep your silky stong have without future breakage and damage

    Jojoba oil before and after showers in my bleached hair saved it from becoming elastic and breaking everytime I washed it. It helps I wear gloves when I shampoo and conditioner to lessen the tearing.

    Wish i knew this about hair being elastic when wet before i started to bleach my own hair. I can usually bleach it well enough just as a hobby, but i always noticed i lose hair when it's still wet and i comb through it. I lose A LOT of hair and now i know to wait until dry to comb it now. As for the toner, the box I use says to use on towel dry hair. I'll start trying it this way from now on.

    • @theworldofcraig
      @theworldofcraig  Рік тому +1

      Hi there. I would always shampoo out bleach, then apply K18 mask. I don’t generally (99% of the time) do second bleach applications - there’s loads of videos on my channel explaining why I don’t need to. If I was going to, the hair would be totally dry.

    Is it normal that the hair is elastic after bleaching? Does it happen always?

    • @theworldofcraig
      @theworldofcraig  Рік тому +4

      Hi there. That generally happens when the hair is “over processed” - the bleach changes the structure of the protein bonds in the hair, resulting is loss of elasticity.
