They really got the camo patter nicely. Reminds me of my Marine camo as a kid in the 60s. Nice work as always.

I fully understand that you keep them in the box. Your collections are absolutely museum quality. I don’t open the box if I get it with really good condition but I sometimes buying a damaged box one and let them breathe fresh air. lol
By the way, This replica also looks good!! Thanks for sharing!! :)

I say, they are your Joes and if keeping them in the box makes you happy, then be happy! I have a few in boxes, but most of my troops are out of the box. And yes, I opened my 2001 Green Beret, [got it on clearance and the box was trashed anyway, totally not a C-10!!]

VERY GOOD VIDEO/PRESENTATION ... your narrative is spot on ,taking time to think and speak ! and interesting info !! BIG EQPT and weapons differences USA GI JOE as compared to UK ACTION MAN (STYLE and finish etc ) and of course a no. of different spin off "ACTION FIGS /TROOPERS OR SOLDIERS " my initial AM was mid 1960s AM CMDR and mainly my combat gr was the OD COMBATS GI KIT :BROWN BOOTS GARAND CARTRIDGE BELT M1936?! ETC it was that combat Joe lol image that was the thing ....and the TV series COMBAT :VIC MORROW and RICK JASON ETC that was a link !! IN UK we had war films some TV SERIES LINKS ...BUT NOT as regular ! As to keep in box ? Your own choice !! Being ex MILITARY my guys are on manoeuvres hey 24 -7 and the AM GUIDE BK / MANUAL still has me wanting to set up bivouacs : camps HY and LMG posns OPs etc LOL LIVE IT my motto lol never saw US SOF GRN BERETS SET as a boy ! Recently P up a US AIRBORNE SET M42 COMBATS missing some items ! 1 garand 1 helmet and M79 grenlnchr V'NAM era !! But that's what spares boxes are for . THE COMBAT "duck hunter " CAMMO uniform on your TRPR is not as original (more faded lighter base green ) and different CAMMO ptrn. I've been able to get a no. of them as well as the older CAM UNIFORM VARIOUS OLDER WW2 weapons etc and modern ; parachutes RSRV (FRONT ) SO! may outfit my unit as FFL :BPC OR REP as for INDOCHINA . THANKS FOR VIDEO GD LUCK to any AM GI collectors what's NOT to like guys!?

I absolutely enjoyed reading your comments my friend !!! These figures are fantastic !! You have excellent knowledge of these beautiful figures and all of the awesome weapons !!! It's always cool to share great conversations with a fellow collector !!!

Thanks for the reply ...very heartening that you made rtn comment as opposed to some others who only rtn a THANKS ! YEAH always good to share/talk with fellow COLLECTORS ! HISTORICAL reference to "duck hunter " CAMMO would be more worn by EARLY MACVSOG ( studies obsvn grp ) before it became SOF (SP OPS GRP )!? SO! we are talking JF KENNEDY AND SOF WARFARE SCHOOL ERA ! ALSO CIDG ETC AND US MILITARY ADVISORY TMS :SE ASIA possibly LRRP /RECON ETC NOT THAT you won't find internet photos of USSF GRN BERETS in the CAMMO !! the name DH came from game hunters in USA (THINK 'DEER HUNTER DE NIRO ETC ) US MNES PACIFIC CLEARLY : MNE RAIDERS ETC IN ETO NORMANDIE the CAMMO was trialled (US 2AD ENGRS ETC ) DUE to obvious ID of troops /WERMACHT AND SS CAMMO ISSUE ! ALSO as was iss in dungeree 1 piece uniform problems arose with ref to "call of nature " LOL SO basics of impractical !!! EARLY SE ASIAN COMBAT : INDOCHINA the FFL PARAS were issued as well as BR. SAUSAGE SKIN (late 44 45 WINDPROOF gear ..smocks etc BR PARA /AIRBORNE DENNISON'S SMOCKS ETC ) WITH AN interesting style /issue of CAMMO in the conflict (check out FILM DEIN BEIN PHU a fantastic movie even earlier "LOST CMD" which was mainly FR. LIZARD CAMMO ) GRN BERET CPT. ROGER DONLAN ??!! was pictured in DH CAM" photos seen recently in Military history magazines. YOU will notice the standard style of typical 1960s and 70s US MILITARY UNIFORM DRESS SUBDUED INSIGNIA (TAC NOT COLORED ) was issue much later period and TAC FACIAL CAM NOT! always used as for wpns ...I've read some interesting early V'NAM RECON /LRRP / RNGR novels that provide useful info M1 CARBINES being toted on patrol etc HOPE this is useful to others also ANY INCORRECT INFO is non intended merely and ex soldier passing on info THANKS GUYS ...OK PT.MAN FWD!

Ok glad it helps ...later I'll give details on direct links to ACTION MAN the particular CAMMO UNIFORMS that I mentioned : other ACTION FIGS AND RELATED EQPT AND WPNS !! THANKS AGAIN MIB for your reply etc HEY !...I can talk about AM ETC 24/7 LOL THANKS ! FAIRS /SWAP MEETS ETC and the odd expense to your own personal collection (that anniversary combat set ) possibly best way to go ! Once was at a fair and woman trader had large collection for sale ....I was only looking for some SLRs 7.62 BR MILITARY WEAPONS some GARANDS .30 AND GI HELMETS ETC . SHE wanted £300 for the lot NO SINGLE ITEM SALE !! YEAH you have it in your wallet !!??? SO! I've found couple items here some there best way REGARDS TO ALL ....KEEP LOOKING FOR ?
