This is the source and context for all of the struggle for the entire Bible. But strangely we don't hear about it much in modern evangelical churches... Why?
Noah's Ark was a glamorized children's tale when I was growing up. The Flood is one of the heaviest and most misunderstood stories of our Bible. Let me be the first to say we don't have it all figured out. This story is not a bedtime story but the literal stuff of nightmares.
Before we judge God we need to meet the narrative on its own terms.

This is so needed to try to understand the Bible down to whats happening in our earth today. Women need to be restored to the redeeming authority God gave them to end the severe imbalances, and to restore the ruling authoring of mankind by changing our attitude toward eachother and toward our Savior Jesus Christ. As long as the demons keep us fighting and hating eachother and hating our own genders and perverting it, we wont succeed in doing Gods will allowing heaven to be upon us.

Yes! I am learning so much from the original language meaning... It was very hard to grasp at first, I bought books but got scared of studying them, but now I am dipping my toes in the water on the edge, thinking to paddle a bit, but the current is so strong I am being drawn in deeper and deeper, and instead of fearing drowning I find I am loving the experience and questions I had as a teenager are being answered nearly 50 years later... My call in God's kingdom once fought in my heart is being embraced as I shame off wrong teaching in my memory. Amazing!

Cowgirl up, Debra. I raised and trained horses and kids for years, and the only thing that didn’t translate perfectly to The Way of Messiah was with my two girls. See the potential for the EXACT OPPOSITE ROLE she is called to embrace with the other larger, more powerful favorite things in her life as a ALPHA FEMALE? God? A good dad? A good husband? This is simple. Do we want to follow our pride and have OUR BEST on our terms…or…God’s best, on God’s terms? One thing is certain: we don’t have another 100 years to make this right, even if only in some faithful way within faithful cities, counties and States.

Have you ever wondered how in the world people will find a way to hate loving unselfish Christians enough to kill them wholesale? Wellll, this is it! Tell enough sexually addicted deviants that their addiction will NEVER be acceptable to us or supported as a healthy option for our kids, much less anyone who says “we are coming for your children,” AND ARE DOING SO ACTIVELY. Nobody has had the guts to look at and publish the data on how we ruined our country, but without women voting, we would not be dealing with the evil that is now commonplace in our land. The research is clearly very negative regard the influence of the 19th Amendment.
Two facts are central to this phenomenon: women are not at all accountable for such things, like Benghazi, where a man would have been assassinated, but not Hillary… Second, there are Scriptural grounds for this! The biggest deception satan has caused is convincing the world that Christ never returned and reigned for 1000 years. He, in fact, has and scripture said that this would happen! It says in Revelation 20 that he would deceive the world after the millennial reign. The evidence is everywhere!
They didn't trust God he would have brought them through anything had they just trusted him, like today trust God and lean not to your own understanding. What if the serpent wanted the ezer for himself? He wanted to be like the most high. He was launching a rebellion. Did he want a delivering ally for himself? He already believed God was withholding good from him and convinced Eve of the same. Adam may not have been part of the deal, for the serpent. Could this explain the later sons of God taking the daughters of men? Just pondering these things.

The reason i believe the bible to be accurate is because the themes it keeps repeating throughout to make it clear and simple. Everything in creation repeats, everything living, the cycles of the seasons, the movement of the planets.
Repetitive cycles.
From the first rebellion to the end of the first generation, from the Patriarchs to Jesus from Jesus to now.
Rebellion, Punishment and Sacrifice for Sins as Atonement.

What a powerful video. For me it was. Its crazy how I knew all these things. Only on a knowledge basis. As I listened it kept giving me more and more deeper revelations and understanding. May I suggest, Eve, not being made from the dust of the ground, but from Adam directly speak of her kinship to him. Eve as Adam's kinsman, bridges the gap to redemption Adam needed after the fall.

Ezer translates to aduitor in latin, which means: "one who listens"
The old hebrew is: one that helps, one that provides succor.
Basic typology states that eve being built from the rib of adam means shes there to protect his heart.
Ally is a poor hot take which ignores the narrative of multiplicity in union. (Distinctions and heirarchy all working in unision to glorify God)
This isn't about equality.
This is the problem with textual criticism. It tries to rebuild a narrative by imposing modern perceptions and understanding, with zero connection to the people who were given the wisdom to teach the bible, the apostles.
Take example the use of "arum" of the snake, ie crafty.
The reason that word is used is to convey that to the human mind, the wisdom and words of the snake are perceived as "good"
Hence why eve saw the fruit as "good" to eat after talking with the snake. It's a warning about discernment of that which we think is good wisdom.
You need a channel to impart your views of wisdom on the Biblical text. It seems you are anointed by the Holy Spirit.
It’s literally translated ally everywhere else. You have no ground to stand on. You just said a lot of words to sound smart but are just trying to avoid the fact that women and men are on equal ground in the eyes of God✌️❤️🔔

The other times it's talking about the nation of Israel (which is a precursor to the modern church), the other times it's talking directly about God coming to help and being your ally. Not about women. You can't remove the context from how the word is used and then make up a new narrative, this is what I'm talking about the issue with textual criticism.

We are only equal in the eyes of God when it comes to judgement, but scripture makes it clear that heaven won't be this egalitarian utopia. Scripture even makes it clear that life kn earth isn't egalitarian as God makes some greater than others. There is hierarchy even in heaven and the kingdom to come.

Just because hierarchy existed as a part of human existance since AFTER the rebellion in the garden of Eden, that doesn't mean that is God's original design. There is hierarchy between different types of creations ( man and nature, animals...). God is one, yet He is three persons in one, and there is no hierarchy between the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Yes they are different in roles but same in nature and united in mind. I believe that is also how God created a man and a woman to be. Marriage, a unity between a man and a woman as an earthly reflection of unity within God. On earth as it is in heaven.

God moulded Adam from the dirt, then He built the woman from Adams side, not his rib, but his side. The Hebrew is very clear in its wording, the translation lost the full meaning, as happens when you translate any language .

Jesus did come to restore Eve as well as all who were deceived like she was. We left heaven by choosing the lust of the flesh and entered into the earth's realm as sinners of rebellion.
Without Christ, there is no return.
We are left with the free will that we chose.
This thought came to me today: Who was Cain afraid of? Wouldn't everyone be a sibling, niece or nephew? The text sounds as of he was a stranger would smite him. Not questioning the Bible. Just... wondering.
I personally believe Adam & Eve were in the Garden for a LONG time before the fall ďmay have had children while there. Those children, according to God's directives moved out creating their own families - yes, incestuous, but with uncorrupted genes. These were the people east of Eden Cain worried about. They would've been godly & detested Cain. Able, Cain & Seth, along with "other sons & daughters" were born after the fall. The Bible says God told Eve her pain would INCREASE in childbirth. The word "increase" seems to indicate she understood what childbirth was & that some pain already existed with it. Adam & Eve could've lived for eons before the fall. The Bible seems to only start counting down time AFTER the fall.. They were created to be eternal so no need for "time" before the fall I. So the earth could be very old with towns & people all over from before the fall. After the fall, God started a, probably, 6,000 - 8,000 year plan of redemption.... To end up in humans being eternal again with a new Heaven and Earth - All reclaimed back to the original plan for creation. JMO 😊
@@shilohauraable I agree with you except for this: Adam and Eve couldn't have born children before the Fall, or they wouldn't have been susceptible to the Fall (born into the sin of Adam....have the sin nature). Also, we see only evidence (in the Word) that Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden. Of course siblings married siblings. Didn't I say that there would have been only siblings and nieces and nephews at that time? I guess they might have wanted to kill the man who killed their beloved Abel. If Eve was like mom's today, wouldn't she have such a broken heart? :(

I guess I'm only half way through, but I seriously hope you explain the imagery to some extent - that the seed of the woman will constantly be bruising the head of the seed of the serpent... and that the serpent will constantly bite or afflict the ankle of the seed of the woman. I still don't have any insight into what that imagery is supposed to evoke... you know?
It's talking about Jesus on the cross. The Satan bruises His heel ( nails through His feet), but Jesus crushes his head. He's cast out of heaven. He will be thrown into the lake of fire, crushed like ashes underneath His feet.
@@TommyStahr - Okay... but there were also nails through his wrists... and many other injuries inflicted - it isn't just his heels/feet. And I thought this whole conflict is described as something continuously happening throughout posterity. Is there some other way to think about this? Certainly, you'd think a head injury would be way worse than a foot injury.... Perhaps I just don't have a good enough imagination.

This is what the verses in question say: And I will put enmity
between you and the woman,
and between your offspring[a] and hers;
he will crush[b] your head,
and you will strike his heel.”
If you read it carefully you will see that it says "he will..." and " his heal" so that is a direct prophecy what will Jesus do. It's a one time event. And heal and head are not to be taken literally. The verses speaking about enmity between the offspring is speaking about continuous enmity between humans and the sons of God that rebelled against Him. We most often call them fallen angels, but the Bible has different names for them. However, the way it's worded, the tense used, you can't read it as a continuous enmity between "the seeds"/"offspring". The verses are clearly indicating that the offspring ( one offspring, not offsprings) of a woman ( not women ), which is Jesus, and the serpent's offspring ( not offsprings) are the enemies. Satan, is not named in the Genesis' verses as the serpent , but we can clearly see that the serpent is not just a snake but a supernatural being and the enemy of a humankind.

The verses in question are:
" And I will put enmity
between you and the woman,

and you will strike his heel.”
If you read it carefully it says THE woman not the women. Jesus is the offspring of THE woman, Mary. Serpant in Genesis is not named ( Satan, the devil), however, it clearly is not just a snake but it's a supernatural being ( what we in Western church commonly call a fallen angel). It also says " HE will" and "HIS heel". He and his indicates one person, one man, Jesus. Lastly, head and heel are not to be taken literally but they indicate the level of harm.

Several Sisters in Christ and I have spoken about the number of times we've had our heels bruised, in the physical, while speaking the Word of God over a spiritual battle. It seriously has happened numerous times throughout my way along the Way.
I wonder how the mark of the beast will make people unsaved. Will fallen angels be changing the persons dna to become nephilum?
Something tells me deep down that the nephalim DNA will somehow be successfully intergrated with a robotic computer, which will then become sentient!
And the mark of the beast which will be in the hand or the forehead of his followers will be a chip or something like a chip, which will immediately bond the follower to this nepahlim (demom spitit)!
I really don't know what this chip does to the follower but whatever it does condemns the followers soul to be unable to be saved or to enter into heaven.😢
Where does it say "the seed of the snake"? I thought it said between you and the seed of the woman.
(NASB) The LORD God said to the serpent,
“Because you have done this,
Cursed are you more than all cattle,
And more than every beast of the field;
On your belly you will go,
And dust you will eat
All the days of your life;
And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her seed;
He shall bruise you on the head,
And you shall bruise him on the heel.”

At 2:42 he said everything God created was good "not true" day two was not good, re-read it, day two God created the firmament, and what does that mean?
Though there is enmity between the two, the snake and Adam, Jacob and Esau, to strike at means to admire and gripping the heel means to protect.
YHWH judged the gods, who neither know nor understand, wandering about in darkness, and became the snake - thus fulfilling the law.
Adam, the Christ, wields the fiery sword, judges the earth, and becomes a worm - thus fulfilling the law.
While YHWH is the snake, with the sense of a beast, Adam is the world of the will, the lamp of the light, and the image of the substance of YHWH.

Then (Jacob) had a dream: a stairway (dirt heaped up for a highway in the desert)
Earth is YHWH’s Everlasting Lake of Fire, his furnace of roaring flames where, in his furious wrath, he will gather you up, put you in, and smelt you. If your name is not found in the Book of Life, he will refine you, remove your dross, and purify you until the Devil, the False Prophet, and the Beast (false beliefs) are cleansed from you. The gates of the Abyss/ Hades will not prevail against it, (Mat 16:18)

The Seed of the Woman is Mankind and the Nephilim were Hedonistic men whose behavior was so offensive to the Creator that it made Him want to Blot Out.
Question: Why is the "seed of the Woman" referred to as an "It" in Gen. 3...a non gendered seed? But the seed of the serpent is of the male gender?

Look at the original language. All translations lose some of the intended meaning. God told me to study Hebrew when I was 11, and I didn't know how to do that back in 1966. Now I am learning more and more of the wrong interpretations that are present in our translations.

So something that perplexes me, Adam and Eve, have two sons, Cain and Abel. Cain murders Abel and is kicked out.
He fears he will be killed. He also finds a woman and marries her. He builds a city.
So, who is this woman he marries. Who are the people he fears will murder him?
If Adam and Eve are the first humans, there should not be other people, but Adam and Eve's offspring.
I've heard theories from more time had gone by than what we think.

Another thought is that there were more siblings. We are not given Cain and Abel's ages when the murder occurred. We also know that people had longer life spans. And So the time table for the events could have been more extensive that we might easily assume as we read the sequence of what happens in Genesis. There may have been time for other siblings to grow up and marry and more people populating the earth than we might first assume and perhaps those were who he was afraid of.

Well, all living beings are going to die. Which puts the human lifespan in a different perspective. With this limited life what will you choose? Life eternal through Jesus Christ? Or continue to your destiny of judgment and death?

KJV is beautifully written but did you know the resources for it's translation were what was available with in 50 miles of the city and reflects the spoken English of the early 1500's. It was the best for it's time and a wonderful version. It doesn't reflect the scholarship that has brought more knowledge gained of history and language thru research to current date. The Dead Sea scrolls have provided older Hebrew texts of scripture to provide more accurate translations to my understanding.

The old testament seems to have a lot of evidence.
However I struggle with the Jesus story as it only seems to be on paper. And "born of a virgin" is kind of a weak story that can't be proven.
Does it not seem like the virgin birth and a resurrection which no one saw, as the only thing the God who made everything used toakw us believe?
You seem to imply that basing our views on evidence is a universal imperative but how and why, on your worldview?
Also, there are different sorts of evidence for different things. Thus, "The old testament seems to have a lot of evidence" for the things that can be shown via evidence.
As for "on paper" well, that's a form of evidence and historians mostly deal with "on paper" stuff.
"born of a virgin" is not the sort of thing that qualifies for demands of whatever you may mean by evidence of any other sort: I mean, how could it unless you watched Mary every second of the life right around nine months before she gave birth.
As for "a resurrection which no one saw" well, some saw Jesus dead and then alive--that's another sort of evidence called "eye witness evidence" to at least the beginning and end portion if not the middle.
